Coco Momo Cafe Bar & Brasserie
Coco Momo is there for you - whether you just want to pop in for coffee, meet friends for drinks (our cocktails are delicious) or catch up over a meal.
Friendly and efficient staff. Nice informal atmosphere. I had one of the best burgers I have had in a long while. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival.
Excellent choice of reasonably priced dishes and good value drinks. Good ambiance and pleasant service -- and very handy for the Royal Albert Hall.
Tasty food with plenty of options. Service a bit lackadaisical so if you’re going to the Proms give it extra time!
We booked Coco Momo for a brunch before going to Museum but in the end we ended up having 3 courses each.
Food was really tasty with nice big portions.
Service was really good. Our main server was really friendly and looked after us well.
I would definitely recommend this place.
We arrived early but were seated straight away. Place was not busy so waiter gave us the choice to choose table.
Food was really tasty. My house burger was perfectly cooked.
Service was friendly but not overbearing, they made us feel as we were at home.
We will definitely come back.
We arrived 40 mins late due to delayed flights and had a quick turnaround to get to the the nearby Royal Albert Hall in time.
The server could not have been more accommodating in taking our order quickly, ensuring our food arrived ASAP and sorting out the bill when the food was with us, all with a smile and a relaxed manner!
The food was fantastic, I had the house burger and my dad had fish and chips.... Both to a very high standard.
I will be back, and plan to spend a lot longer than the 40 minutes I was in this time.
Great service and tasty food!
We went for breakfast last Sunday for the 1st time (as it is a dog friendly restaurant). Unfortunately the waiter overcharged us £7 when we paid using contactless. I did not get a receipt as I normally receive a text from my credit card co. so did not take notice until i went back home. We called the restaurant, spoke to a manager who promissed a refund, which never materialised.
Advise: If your bill is below the £30 contactless paymemt limit, please check and ask for receipt as they may overcharge you. It is unlikely that we will visit again.
I booked Coco Momo as I was looking for a dog-friendly restaurant near to the museums. Their website states it is dog friendly and so I booked a table for our party. On the day, we were running 20 minutes late but I rang them as soon as possible (we were on the tube so had to wait until I had reception) to let them know and the person on the phone said it was fine, no problem (they do have a 20 min grace period after all).
When I arrived, the tall gentleman looked at me and said 'dogs are not allowed in the dining area'. I was a bit surprised as there was nothing on their booking system to state this. However, I said okay, well what would you like me to do as I am here now. 'No dogs allowed in the dining area, if you'd said when you were booking we could have set up something in the cafe area.' I looked around at the basically empty restaurant and cafe area and wondered why this was an issue - fair enough, I didn't realise, but now that I am here, why not just set up a table in the very un-busy cafe area? 'Dogs aren't allowed in the dining area, only the cafe.' Okay, thank you, I understand that - how about trying to resolve the situation instead of feeling the need to rudely chastise a potential paying customer for something that can be easily fixed?
Thankfully there was a much more pleasant member of staff who told this miserable man that it was no problem and he was setting up a table for us in the cafe. He really salvaged the situation as the other person was so hostile and rude I would have just walked out. It's really no way to treat your customers and how about acknowledging that you can make this clearer on your booking system.
The food was okay, nothing special but fairly reasonably priced for the area. We stayed for a couple of drinks whilst the children went to the museum and it is a nice place to do this with a dog.
Overall, I would return for a drink and a snack but I would steer clear of that rude member of staff.
We chose Cocomomo for dinner before a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Overall it was fine, and the service was very friendly (we asked to move from a sidewalk table to a quieter and cooler table in the back of the restaurant). My impression from the website was that the restaurant is a bit classier, and the food more sophisticated, than it actually is, but we had no real complaints.
Wir hatten reserviert und ohne Reservierung hätten wir vermutlich auch kaum noch einen Platz für vier gefunden. Der Service hätte doch etwas aufmerksamer sein können
Lovely little brunch place. Food is very affordable for the location. Portions are quite small and service is brisk but friendly. Great for a low-key relaxed brunch in pretty surrounds.
Would thoroughly recommend.....always come here when going to the Albert Hall. Very welcoming with good unrushed service. Good choice of menu and specials. Reasonably priced wine and drinks. Nice atmosphere and ambiance.
Always good and great staff
Really enjoyed dinner here, service and food was great!
Fod was very tasty and good value for money. Service was good. Wine glasses on the table were dirty. Overall, the place needs a fact lift especially the tables and chairs.
Really nice to return here! A lovely find!
Attended the Royal Albert Hall; a short stroll from the Gloucester Road Tube Station.
Food was delicious. Service prompt and personable, lovely ambiance.
A nice relaxing meal. Will go back again when in town
Good food and atmosphere, staff a bit overworked though!
I have been going to Coco Momo quite regularly for the past four or five years which obviously indicates I was pleased with everything about it: pleasant atmosphere, good service and lovely food. This visit, only four days after my previous visit, was a completely different experience: my request for a certain table or tables -- I gave a choice -- was not adhered to, although one of the requested possibilities was free. Service was extremely slow and at best uninterested. A request for one small substitution on one set menu item was not well handled. All in all I was treated as if I was not a regular customer. I plan now to make that a reality.
This server always provides exceptionally good service!
Really laid back place to meet for a chilled dinner and drinks. We had a really lovely waiter too.
6 of us ate here prior to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food arrived quickly. All of the meals were well presented & delicious. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to other diners. The food was very reasonably priced. All in all this was a very positive dining experience.
We had an early evening meal before the ballet. The meal was enjoyable, the drinks and the service were both good. The restaurant was quite quiet at the time as we were so early. It had a friendly feel to the place.
The food was good as always but could have done without the restaurant staff (manager and chef) talking about their private lives right in the centre of the restaurant. Unprofessional behaviour even when restaurant is not busy.
good service, good food, no complaints - there were 8 of us and everyone was happy
I am a regular visitor to Coco Momo. The restaurant is very nice, the food excellent and the prices are very reasonable.
Great food very tasty and a great ambience ! The service is prompt, when we visit London this is a favourite place to meet friends and enjoy good food, the chairs are very comfortable around the table
