The atmosfere Is very relaxed and the staff welcoming. Great food - recommended!
Nice little restaurant with good food for a reasonable price.
Amazingly good chicken and don’t miss the truffles mashed potatoes. Attentive service and terrific food, very well priced.
Chicken was cold and over cooked, really dry and the chips were terrible
Waiters and mac cheese was nice though!
What a lovely place and what great staff
Lovely area, always a great place for a tasty healthy lunch
Great, tasty, healthy food...fast. What more could you ask for?
Lovely food and wine, arrived quickly and we had a nice cozy table - will be back again soon
I would recommend 100% the Raymond Salad. The sauce is incredible. Plus, the chicken is amazing!
The chocken was good. The restaurant is more of a take away place. Beter for lunch than dinner
Excellent, food very delicious!
The waiter who took our order seemed distracted. After ordering a bottle of Sauvignon blanc (and which he repeated afterwards) he brought us a bottle of merlot. He did change it after we pointed out the error.
Also one of the chicken pieces was still red in the bone. Nothing too alarming but I’ve eaten here several times and this is first time that chicken was not well cooked.
Fantastic food, service and great value!
Only downside was clothes smelt strongly of cooking after leaving. Improved ventilation would be a recommendation!
Was a decent restaurant for some good chicken. Can't fault it.
We were looking forward to our dinner at Cocotte Notting Hill. The menu read healthy and interesting. Sadly the meal didn't live up to our expectations. Firstly our table was the smallest in the restaurant, given the way food is served, much to small for all our plates, boards, water and wine. Though it was very heavy as I had to pull it out to allow my partner into her seat, no help from any staff was offered. Then we asked if my wife's coat could be hung up. The only hooks were at waist level next to the kitchen pass, therefore the coat was trailing on the restaurant floor which I'm sure is kept as clean as possible but not ideal for a very expensive coat. We started with soup, a large bowl of chicken and veg which looked as though it should taste delicious but was bland and tasteless. We then moved onto mains. My partner's Caesar salad with chicken was very good. My half roast chicken was ok but the vegetable salad (I think it was called the Lily) served with it was swimming in a dressing mostly made of vinegar. We had a quite decent bottle of wine but I think the price of the wines is a little high, the cheapest white is 24 pounds. Finally it was only after we had left that I realized that the 20% discount on food we were meant to get on the open table booking had not been applied.
Very good food and customer service
Best rotisserie chicken with amazing sides
Going back again for sure
The first date night of 2019, and my turn to book it. It had to be something a bit special, a middle-of-January pick me up. Somewhere cosy and warm where the food would speak for itself (and without completely destroying the diet!)
Cocotte was perfect.
A beautifully understated space with a real homely feel. A row of tables down the left hand side facing the open kitchen. It's a very low fuss affair, good food facilitating great company.
We went straight for the mains and ordered everything to share... well when you're in grandma's kitchen why wouldn't you?
The chicken was the centre of the meal, perfectly seasoned crispy skin with tender juicy meat beneath. We ordered roasted baby potatoes and vegetables to go along side it. This was a roast dinner on another level, helped up there by the amazingly fresh homemade sauces - gravy, chili and garlic mayo.
However, the star of the evening was the chorizo rice, one of the days specials, and neatly tied all the different flavours together.
For dessert we had the lemon tart and chocolate cake. Both exquisite. The lemon was strong and tart, balanced beautifully by the sweet pastry. The chocolate was rich and melted in your mouth - no wonder it's the best seller!
The staff were unobtrusive but attentive, we didn't know they were there until something was needed. The service was faultless.
My only issue is that we didn't order any of the salads. Serious food envy when we saw them brought out to other tables.
We will definitely be coming back!
Lovely decor, relaxed ambience and good service. Limited (and very healthy!) menu if you're veggie, as the main point of the place is the chicken, but the soup and salads were very nice. Just check the price of a glass of prosecco before you order (£9). Especially if you order two. I was properly caught out by that.
Our family of 6 where at Cocotte for a saturday lunch and had a very good time. Tasty french chicken, nice and friendly staff. Small and cosy place.
Friendly and efficient with great chicken dishes. However if chicken is not your thing you may find it a bit restrictive. Try the amazing rice cake ice cream they have...that was awesome
Very good food, warm interior and excellent service.
Great food.excellent attentive servers. A very relaxed atmosphere
Delicious chicken as you would hope but the sides made it for me - mouth watering mac and cheese and roast potatoes. Lovely casual dining atmosphere - we really enjoyed it.
I had a lovely meal with my friend on a Saturday night. I look forward to returning again!
As always the food is good and the service is nice. You get what you are expecting!
This is the right place to have a good meal. Lovely staff, great surroundings.
Incredible food. Tables were a little close to their
Concept sympa et bon repas... À FAIRE
Good food but on this occasion chicken was a bit dry.
It was my sisters birthday and she found a hair in her good, they claimed it to be some plastic, but we saw it and it was a hair. They apologised gave us some more chicken which wasn’t good. Poor service and I run the evening. Will never recommend or go back!
Always go to cocotte as their truffle thing is just amazing !
Eventually more red wine options would be a plus
Lacking atmosphere and generally unmemorable. The chicken I found rather dry but the truffle macaroni was quite nice.
The Staff were friendly and accommodating but that is all that I can really compliment.
The staff are friendly the food is Soo good
The service was excellent
The chicken was nice but the sides were disappointing; the ratatouille was a few peppers and aubergines which had been part grilled part steamed unsure which and were unseasoned and not fully cooked... the “roasted root veg” was similarly more microwaved sweet potato than anything else.
Great food when they got the order right! They messed up the main order and had to wait for the side for a long time. Maximum time we could stay for was 1.5hours, with the messed up order this was quite rushed, hadn’t yet fully finished our meal when the bill was printed and we were told we had to go!
So awesome! We loved every dish, the wine was great and so was dessert! We would go back in a second!
Lovely family dinner. Kids devoured the chicken and most of the sides and we enjoyed a nice bottle of Petit Chablis. We would definitely go back.
Second time I have been to Cocotte and it did not disappoint! The food and wine are faultless- the best chicken in London hands down! Will be back very soon!
We chose this restaurant to go out with friends for dinner. When choosing, we were guided by a variety of dishes for people who eat meat as well as for vegetarians. Very nice service, paying attention to the customer. The restaurant is small but very cosy with an amazing decor. Delicious food, large and filling portions. I think I will be happy to recommend this restaurant for an intimate meeting with friends.
