C.O.D Seafood & Raw bar:
Located on West 3rd Street near the Beverly Center, C.O.D is a modern seafood brasserie offering Asian-inspired Californian cuisine. Influenced by both the great fishing villages of China and our own Californian coast, C.O.D crafts the best of these worlds together on a plate. C.O.D also features two full-sized bars, an extensive wine collection and hand-crafted cocktails.
C.O.D stands for “Catch of the Day” and describes our restaurant’s dedication to serving only the freshest and highest quality ingredients available on the market. Our fish is never frozen. Seafood is the focus at C.O.D, but everything else―from the microgreens to pork belly―is also presented at the peak of freshness.

Curry Assorted Seafood
shrimp, scallop, calamari, carrot, onion, potato, in spicy curry sauce
It was my friend’s birthday and they sat us at the upstairs patio and food was delish! Love it!
We loved everything w Uni Truffle pasta taking the Gold Medal!
We have gone with another couple at least once a week to find here prior to Covid. Food has declined highly, some seafood smelled so bad we sent back multiple dishes.
Gross food. The waitress was nice enough but admitted that the chardonnay was awful and they were out of ingredients for cocktails. Then didn't know how to make a martini.
REALLY disappointing and the restrooms were disgusting to boot!
The place looked dirty. The bathroom sink was filthy. There’s was black hair stubble line someone had shaved long ago and there was a dark dirt stain around the basin.
Just grossed me out.
There's a wide variety of items to order from the menu unless you only want meat. I didn't have enough of appetite to order everything I wanted so I'll have to go back.
I didn’t receive everything I ordered because waitress said the cook didn’t really like her
Fabulous food absolutely delicious
Excellent mix of seafood and Asian cuisine
Our server was great! The problem was and apparently is a perpetual problem is lack of staff. They do not have a bartender so the server Has to also make the drinks. She was quite skilled at bartending and serving however the place clearly needs more help. Atmosphere is OK but again the bar area is very small and really not suitable to sit and have a pre-dinner cocktail Especially without a bartender.
Outside seating area small but cute
Mel is absolutely fantastic. She is
Wonderful seafood all incredibly fresh and delicious. Lisa our server was great
While the food was good, I feel it is a tad overpriced considering other similar restaurants.
Our server Lisa was very good, but the hostess was rude and dismissive.
Overall ok, but not great.
So glad we came here! Great service and food was wonderful. Large portions too.
First time. Not a busy night there despite being saturday. Food was so-so, which for a fish place somehow is more disappointing. Maybe just an off night.
Cool vibe. Great food and drinks
C O E is a nice restaurant, sat outside, place was packed by the time we left. The soups we had were great in particular the clam chowder. We also had chicken dumplings which were very good. Like all restaurants now, under staffed so service was a bit slow. I would not return only because of the huge number of restaurants in LA county to try.
Food was outstanding! Service was ATROCIOUS
We went here for my wife’s birthday. She was very pleased with the location, food, service, and the menu. The sushi and fish is of great quality. I highly recommend for couples who want to get a good meal and hang with each other.
The food was stellar — really delicious. The service was friendly and charming but they removed my chopsticks and didn’t provide new ones. They were out of hot sake in a place that specializes in sushi; the margarita was the only drink I’ve ever sent back — it looked and tasted like water, before and after, and was missing salt although I’d asked for salt. There is a beautiful outdoor balcony upstairs; although I had requested outdoor seating, no one told us that place even existed, and we only discovered it by walking upstairs ourselves after dinner. That said, I now feel like a knowledgeable diner there, and would gladly return for the food.
Cool vibe... nice food. Service was a little slow but manageable... Overall very chill.... I will go back
Great experience here again. Was here 3 years ago and food standard is the same. Great staff and bar service. I think this place is undervalued.
Visited from the east coast. Tired a few places this was my least favorite. Chill place but the menu display and food selection were lacking. Cool as a last resort but wouldn’t be my first choice.
I love this place and will definitely go back! The oysters were fresh and creamy. The Bass was tender and seasoned well, I also had the Shrimp and string beans...wonderful. The place is trendy and not too loud, the drinks are great and I felt our server was on point!
our server was wonderful and every food item was fantastic! however, host left us and several other guests waiting at the door for about 10 minutes
The food was good. But the service was poor. They were greatly understaffed and unknowledgeable! There was supposed to be international martini day advertised in their website. But no one knew what I was talking about. The food took forever to come. The seafood tower was not as impressive as it usually is with the fresh sashimi. Made me look bad to my guests since I raved about the restaurant from my previous visits. My husband who came for the first time said: “Never again are we coming back here!”
I love their food but service is poor. Hot soup served cold, attitude nasty.
It was good!
Sushi and food was okay. Cocktails and service was awful.
This place is the best. The consistency in every single dish has had me and all my friends coming back for years- even traveling across the country for it. Do yourself a favor and order the pork belly and uni pasta! The owner is an absolute sweetheart and the level of dedication he has put in this restaurant has withstood the test of time and the pandemic. Big shout out to Penny as well!
Love the vibe. The music is great, it was nice and chill. Fresh oysters and seafood. Love the different oysters options.
Excellent choice!!! Quality food! Quality service! Quality music!! I will definitely be back!!!
The service was excellent, which is particularly noteworthy these days. The server was knowledgeable about the food and the specialty drinks. She was prompt in taking my order and food service was prompt as well. I misspoke when I placed my order and when a roll I didn’t expect arrived, she unhesitatingly (with managements immediate support) sent it back for what I had meant to order! The tables were comfortably spaced. It was a wonderful experience and my first meal inside a restraint since early October!
The Foods was too salty.
Delicious food and great service. My date and I were pleasantly surprised because it exceeded our expectations. Such a gem and underrated!
We waited over 10 minutes to be greeted at the hostess desk, we had reservations. The restaurant was less than half full with customers yet we had to wait to be seated, wait to order a drink, wait to order dinner, wait to order more drinks. I watched as the waitress folded napkins after I asked for a drink, I had to remind her. We didn’t understand because it was not at all crowded but we had to wave our arms several times to get service. I wouldn’t go back.
While on the pricier side if you consider how small the portions are, the food is always good here! Interesting mix of cuisines in this menu, perfect for a date night. We ordered a little bit of everything. Their uni pasta is definitely a must-try. The sea bass is perfect, with delicious spinach.
Server was awesome. Great location and good vibe. Menu has lots of options to choose from and has a mix of all Asian cuisines. With that said, the quality of sushi is not great. You won’t get sick but it’s just low grade. Been here a couple times now and it’s just not great food.
Fresh Seafood !!
Awesome experience I chose indoor seating and was only offered outdoor bc overbooked. But all i. All the experience was excellent from drinks to awesome food. Me and my date from Atlanta was impressed. This is a must on your list of elegant restaurants.
