Following last year’s hugely successful Brunch with Santa, we’re delighted to bring them back for another year. We thoroughly enjoyed hosting families from near and far and can’t wait to welcome back the big man himself for another month of fun! We have a range of dates to choose from but do be careful as they sell out quickly. On the day you’ll enjoy a hearty brunch for adults (hot drink included) and we more than look after the wee ones with food & drink and of course a visit and gift from Santa.

Located in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town and at the foot of Castle Rock our Rooftop is in prime position to take in the sights and sounds of the festivities. From the warmth and comfort of your own outdoor table, you’ll enjoy your welcome dram or Prosecco, delicious sharing platters of food and of course, when the bells ring and the Castle fireworks start above your heads we all celebrate with another round of drinks to toast the new year. Incredibly disappointed to feel like we wasted one of our dinners out here. The service was the worst we have had in two weeks of travel across Europe. The food was subpar, which was really surprising considering the reviews we read. We had to ask for our drinks to be brought to us after seeing them sitting on the bar for over 10 minutes, we asked for ketchup for our entree and a literal single squirt of ketchup in the bottom of a sauce ramekin was given, the server had zero common sense and chose to roll silverware in a nearly dead restaurant rather than attendee to the tables. We even had to get up and find another member of staff to ask for the bill just to be able to leave. Don’t waste your money here on holiday!

**Review: Cold Town House** We were fortunate to snag a booking for the rooftop terrace at Cold Town House on a Saturday, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The location is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of Edinburgh Castle that set the perfect backdrop for an evening out. Sharing a cold brew tower with friends was a unique and refreshing experience, and paired with their delicious, freshly made pizzas, it made for an ideal outing. The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxed, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Cold Town House is definitely a perfect spot to enjoy great food, drinks, and company in a stunning setting. Highly recommend!

Fabulous setting and fabulous service. We enjoyed a few cocktails which were also excellent. We pre booked for the roof terrace and were given the perfect table with various heaters to keep us cozy. 10 out of 10!!

We arrived during a down pour and were booked for the rooftop terrace. The host was kind enough to find us a table inside where it was warm and dry. Pizza was incredible. Service from all excellent.

Food was great, but we were booked and seated at 4.15 and took ages to get our order taken. Couldn’t order through the QR code on the table as the kids menu was different and didn’t have pizza on it which is what my little boy wanted. We had our drinks delivered at 4.50. Waaaaaayyyy too long to wait! The girl went and checked 3 or 4 times as she could see us getting quite impatient. We were going to the Tattoo at the castle and had to rush off. It was ashame as the food was excellent!!
