Following last year’s hugely successful Brunch with Santa, we’re delighted to bring them back for another year. We thoroughly enjoyed hosting families from near and far and can’t wait to welcome back the big man himself for another month of fun! We have a range of dates to choose from but do be careful as they sell out quickly. On the day you’ll enjoy a hearty brunch for adults (hot drink included) and we more than look after the wee ones with food & drink and of course a visit and gift from Santa.

There’s nowhere better to feel a part of our city’s world-renowned Hogmanay celebrations than on the Rooftop of Cold Town House. Located in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town and at the foot of Castle Rock our Rooftop is in prime position to take in the sights and sounds of the festivities. From the warmth and comfort of your own outdoor table, you’ll enjoy your welcome dram or Prosecco, delicious sharing platters of food and of course, when the bells ring and the Castle fireworks start above your heads we all celebrate with another round of drinks to toast the new year. Dinner reservations, sat immediately and greased nicely. Nothing fancy but good food and service. We had pizza, burgers and drinks. Good place to have a bite.

We booked the rooftop terrace outdoor seating and the views beneath the castle were incredible! It was a wee bit chilly out but there are multiple outdoor heaters strategically placed about. We both ordered pizzas which were a very well done version of the style. The beer was cold and the atmosphere up there passed the vibe check. The staff were prompt and friendly. Overall an amazing first night experience checking out this place. Cheers!

I took my family at 5:30 on a Monday night and it was perfect! There were 4 adults, a 3 year old and infant. We had a reservation and were given a great table with a mini fire pit, which also had wonderful views of the castle! We had 3 different pizzas and all were delicious, as was the beer, and the staff was so kind. I’d highly recommend visiting!

Incredibly disappointed to feel like we wasted one of our dinners out here. The service was the worst we have had in two weeks of travel across Europe. The food was subpar, which was really surprising considering the reviews we read. We had to ask for our drinks to be brought to us after seeing them sitting on the bar for over 10 minutes, we asked for ketchup for our entree and a literal single squirt of ketchup in the bottom of a sauce ramekin was given, the server had zero common sense and chose to roll silverware in a nearly dead restaurant rather than attendee to the tables. We even had to get up and find another member of staff to ask for the bill just to be able to leave. Don’t waste your money here on holiday!
