Delightful! The Ruben sandwich was amazing and we loved the butternut apple soup. It was a perfect experience enjoying the fall weather with delicious food from the patio.

Concord is just rich with history and we were excited to try a restaurant that seemed rich with history of its own. Dinner started with the Clam Chowder. After traveling across New England and trying several Chowders, this was one of the best! For dinner we tried the Pot Roast and the Chicken Pot Pie. The Pot Roast was some of the best I have enjoyed and was complemented with a unique Butternut Squash dish that was amazing. The Chicken Pot Pie was rich, creamy and well seasoned. The crust was flaky and it was well stocked with diced chicken. The service was good and we were well attended to. The only concern was that the indoor temperature where we were initially seated was quite warm. When asked to be seated elsewhere, the management was responsive and accommodated the request. We were not sure if the temperature issue was a one time thing or not, but other guests were also commenting. Aside from the temperature, the Colonial Inn is worth a stop while visiting historic Concord!

We were a couple of two locals who live in Concord and a couple from out of town. We each had great meals. The chowder was delicious. The baked scrod was delightful. The Indian pudding was a great treat. The service was friendly but a bit overwhelmed, which we understand happens from time to time. Loved sharing this Concord landmark with out-of-towners and having it deliver.

First time at Colonial. Its everything you would think a classic, New England style restaurant should be. Everyone's meal was tasty, plentiful, and well presented. Free parking as well. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely return.

My daughter and I had a wonderful evening! Our server was absolutely wonderful. Our drinks were so delicious, we had the watermelon Cosmo! We shared the pulled pork tacos, outstanding! We both enjoyed the scampi pasta with chicken. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening! We will certainly be coming back again 💓

The ambiance was lovely from the outside. It was noisy and we were seated next to the doorway into our section of restaurant our waitress,Kellie could have been more attentive ( she forgot to bring our rolls and never refilled our water glasses). Our cocktails were good, watermelon cosmos but were small for $13 Our Caesar salad was good which we shared the small one. I found the menu to be limited. We both ordered chicken pot pie. The squash was tasty but cold as well as mashed potatoes. The pie crust was exceptional and really needed a soup spoon for pie as it was thin like soup. The chicken ran through it. It had two square chunks as well as two carrots. The Colonial Inn still had charm but it stopped there’. . When we rec’d our bill there was the usual food tax but in addition there was a liquor tax which I have never see before I hope our waitress shared our comments with the Chef

Loved the ambiance of the restaurant. The fried cauliflower was so good. Overall great experience, only issues were the chicken pot pie was practically soup in a bowl with a crust over top and the pot roast was very dry.

We had to go in the kitchen to look for a server to bring us beverages. The waitress who was not ours indicated that she had another table to help first. We were fine our first plates of the buffet before a waitress appeared and brought beverages. We had to help ourselves to the silverware at the wait station in order to eat or food.
