Well looked after. Great food. All good.
Great night, fantastic food, helpful attentive service and a birthday surprise freebie thrown in will definitely go back!
Great food, but put off going back because of service charge.
Fabulous tasty food. Service was fantastic, very attentive and fab with the kids. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.
Had a lovely time. Great atmosphere. Staff aren’t as friendly and attentive in comparison to neighbouring restaurants
brilliant.from a lebanese family !!! we loved our time here and definately will be back.the food was devine .
Nice meal, friendly and efficient staff. Great intro to Lebanese food.
Great food, fresh and tasty made with beautiful ingredients
Great staff lovely food don’t understand why it’s not more full
First experience of this restaurant was at lunchtime this week. It had been recommended to me and it didn't disappoint. Vibrant atmosphere, food served quickly and tasted amazing, it was so fresh. A varied menu with lots of choice, great vegetarian options too. I will be back in the New Year
Team Christmas lunch with colleagues and I offered them somewhere different to try. They weren’t disappointed and absolutely loved the restaurant and food. A place I’ve been to once before and will definitely be back (as will my colleagues ;) )
A great find. The food was fabulous and great value. The noise levels were high due to it being office Christmas party night which was not ideal for my partially hearing son. However we all enjoyed the food and service.
This was our second visit and the food was great. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We will be back
Great place and service was excellent. Food stunning
Food was very good and some nice wine. Despite not being full the service was slow - took ~20 mins to get a first drink and only after prompting. So if you are not in a rush and happy to chat rather than hungry it is a good choice. Dont be put off by the decor which nearly made us change our plans.....
It was my first time to this restaurant and I absolutely loved it. We went for a post matinee meal at 5pm. Despite being 30 minutes early we only had a short wait for a table to be prepared and were made to feel very welcome. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We all really enjoyed our meals and the ambience. The food tasted really fresh and was delicious. We will be back soon. Thank
Slow service in the kitchen, ended up waiting well over an hour for starters and further 45 minutes for the mains
Waiter was good and helpful - can’t be helped when busy but people who arrived after us got their food and finished before we got any food
food was fresh, tasty and just different enough to make it stand out. The service was swift, not overwhelming, and recommendations were good. I have eaten out in Manchester more times that I can count, and Le Comptoir Libanais will definitely be on my to go again list
Really enjoyed my first trip here, the food was outstanding and the service was attentive without being over bearing. Cannot wait to return !
Disappointing. The starter - cheese pastries were microwaved so quite chewy. The main came with a bowl of potatoes which also appeared to be badly microwaved and were cold.
Great food and service.
This is the first time we have been to Comptoir Libanais, but it's now on our top 5 list. The building decor is authentic looking libanese styling. We were treated by a friendly lady who escorted us to our table. The service from a nice young gentleman was respectful and although struggled slightly with his English was very professional.
He provided us with all the information of what there was available food & drinks. And his attention to our evening and his service was impeccable, couldn't fault him.
The drinks cocktails were amazing quality, large enough to not be too overpriced. I would recommend the Lebanese old fashioned, it's a delightful drink! And my good lady loved the Samra cocktail, made with champagne with cherries.
The share platter starter was filling, tasty, andwell presented. The main meals portions were too much for us in size, however they were gorgeous & the flavours were delightful. The atmosphere was busy but not too much to overpower a evening for two with my wife. We enjoyed it so much we stay on in the bar area for more drinks as they were really well made. Will be visit again I the
Great food and great service will be going again soon
Super fresh food , authentic , lovely :) give it a try !
Fabulous service & delicious fresh authentic food. Thank you
great lebanese foods, halloumi, hummus, etc
the oven bread is brilliant
This was one of the best restaurants in Manchester for the ambience alone, I felt like I was in a Turkish market. The food was pretty good, good value. The cocktails were a HUGE, for £8.50 deffo worth it, cause normally in Manchester they wouldn’t last very long, but these were very decent. Will be going back and maybe get less cocktails this time
Food was nice but service was shocking. It took over an hour for each course to arrive. Also when we ordered drinks they would not always arrive.
Food was good. £15 mixed grill served on a tiny plate which was a shame and bread was missing. Houmous starter very tasty but small to share. Staff quite pushy and desperate to up sell which was off putting so probably wouldn’t go back even though the food was good
The food was expensive too seasoned and too samey 6 different kebabs.
Never had Lebanese food before so someone talked through the menu with us, this was greatly appreciated. The food was fantastic. The service was great. The drinks were gorgeous, I can recommend the Comptoir Libanais gin and tonic and the spiced hot chocolate. We'll be coming back and bringing friends and family.
More extensive menu than other similar restaurants, helpfully explained by waitress.
Didn't want a huge meal so shared the meze platter. Very tasty! Lovely hoummus and liked flat bread instead of pitta. Excellent veggie choices.
This is my favourite type of food so will definitely visit again.
Lamb and Chicken Kofta- far too much herbs, felt like eating parsley
Halloumi and tomato quite nice
Decent falafel and humus, salad pretty good
Clean restaurant and nice staff
Nothing really terrible but also not wowed by food, doubt I would go back.
Amazing food with loads of choice, good atmosphere, great service, staff very good.
Comptoir Libanais have a relaxed feeling and when you sit outside you feel like you are on holiday. Food was yummy as usual, I recommend the lamb shank tagine. Staff are always helpful and friendly, service was perfectly timed.
The food at Comptoir Libanais was excellent. It was very well cooked, the portions were generous and it was very well presented. The beer was good and the cocktails were outstanding. I really liked the feel and atmosphere of the restaurant.
Good service with very tasty food at a reasonable price, what more could you want?
Comptoir Libanais is a chain restaurant which we had noticed in a few locations at home and abroad, but had never tried until now. The atmosphere was buzzing and friendly - we immediately got talking to the couple at the next table who were visiting from Hong Kong. Service was reasonably good although it took a while to get the greeter to understand that we had booked a table and we struggled to get our bill at the end of the meal and had to ask for it more than once. The food was quite healthy, but very tasty and I would recommend it. The reason I couldn't give this restaurant a higher score is that the portion size of my meal was very mean, as I told the waiter when he enquired. There was simply not enough food on my plate for a main course. I can understand the restaurant's desire for strict portion control in relation to the seabass I ordered as this is an expensive part of the meal, but there is no excuse for being stingy with cheap ingredients such as rice and salad. My partner ordered lamb and when his meal came the portions were much more generous, so maybe I was just unlucky?
Food was AMAZING.. service was good, nice place . Would definitely recommend and re-visit.
