We only managed to get a reservation at the bar on Saturday night, and so were a bit hesitant initially about eating here. We decided to give it a go anyways, as we were staying close by, and are so glad we did! The food was fantastic - some of the best hand-made pasta I’ve ever eaten and the service at the bar was excellent. We’re so glad we tried this restaurant out and will definitely eat here again when we visit in the future. Thanks!
Excellent little place. Food was amazing. The best pasta I have ever eaten.
Book early as they only have about 10 covers.
Fantastic food as ever. May be a limited menu but every tasted amazing
Great place. Tasty food, friendly staff and good music. Highly recommended
Con gusto was a very nice meal
Top restaurant. Wonderful meal and service. Maybe a tad expensive but worth it.
Excellent food in a really quirky setting. Not too expensive, good wine as well.
Food was delicious and although the staff were extremely lovely, the wait to order food was 20+ minutes, which wasn't appealing. Overall, lovely experience
Every time we visit London we make a point of visiting this restaurant and it never disappoints. Friendly and efficient service and the food is excellent
Food was very good, but on a quiet Tuesday winter evening, the dining area was quite cool, and all evening there were only 3 tables in use but they grouped my quiet table next to a very loud table when they could have spaced us out nicely. Plus a staff member was using a noisy hand blender in the dining area instead of the kitchen - why?
The most wonderful eatery
The food was delicious and the staff very professional and welcoming
The food was amazing and the venue is sooo cute. We will definetly be returning here again.
Excellent food and service. So glad to have discovered this place.
By far the most genuine Italian in London, requires booking in advance most times
Superb as always!
Con gusto was honestly excellent Especially considering the price of the food. £25 for three courses of really rather great food! Something that’s a little confusing though is that they advertise themselves as fine dining. In this respect it’s not fine dining. One (very good) waiter isn’t enough to provide the fine dining experience but I do realise I’d expect to pay three times that At a truly fine dining restaurant.
Honestly I’d definitely go back here, the place is lovely and the food and service is excellent. And the price can not be beaten, we paid £117 for two with a decent bottle of wine and some extra bits too. We’d expect to pay double that for what we were provided with at Con Gusto. Excellent job guys!
Lovely dinner, food delicious as usual, prices seem to be increasing.
First class as ever. The pasta is perfectly cooked and the flavours are excellent. Only a suggestion maybe a couple of other exytra dishes now and again, having been a few times, whilst I love the food they do it would be nice to try something different occasionally but this is NOT a criticism, its fab
First time at con gusto. Been looking forward to going as my wife spoke highly of it. Managed to get a table the day before, so that was great. The place is lovely inside and the staff were polite, positive and not too attentive. Starters were good - wifey had prawns, I had a polenta based dish. Mains came. My wife enjoyed hers. I did too, but wouldn't say it was outstanding. The pasta was a minute away from being al dente - still a bit grainy for my liking, but the sauce was good. As usual with Italian dishes, they were both a bit protein light, so didn't expect that to be any different. Overall a nice place, decent enough food, lovely interior and a great location. Bit pricey for what you get, but it feels intimate - well it did, until a guy plonked himself a the vacant table next to us, whipped out his magic tablet and proceeded to watch MMA right next to me. It was worth a visit, but because of that, I won't be going back.
Intimate setting with enough space to feel comfortable. Reasonably priced food and drinks and very attentive service. Lovely venue for occasions.
Fabulous place. Authentic Italian food made with quality ingredients. Great selection of wines, beer and cocktails to cover all tastes and pockets. Good for casual meals, romantic dinners and special occasions.
Amazing New Year meal thank you - tasty food, generous portions and friendly and welcoming service!
I've eaten here a few times now and the food has been amazing every time. It is a little bit expensive but nice for an occasion. I've also been for their set price/menu pre-theatre sitting when you can have the delicious food for a fraction of the price! Well worth it.
The staff are really accommodating and friendly as well. Definitely recommend!
Superb all round! Great food, excellent ambience & service
An excellent anniversary dinner. Delicious food and friendly service.
Exceptional restaurant.
Pre-theatre menu fantastic value. Food and service were excellent. Highly recommend
Lovely atmosphere, well presented food with. nice flavour. The pork belly was a little over cooked but my partner had the lamb which was sensational! It’s such a petite restaurant so it’s intimate and nicely decorated which I really like! Perfect for an anniversary dinner or another special occasion. Even better that we live 2 mins away! Highly recommend 😊
Pitched just right IMO - 6-8 dishes per course and a nice variety of dishes which were well presented and used fresh ingredients. Tiny gripe about my starter would be that my burrata was more like 1/4 of a burrata. The seafood pasta main was very flavoursome even if the sauce was a little excessive. A nice bottle of Puglian Primitivo (wine menu was also very good) and decent dessert wine. Came to £60 a head which was fine for London including the wine. Will go again.
Gem of a restaurant in Woolwich. Excellent food, wine and service as always!
We love this little restaurant. On this occasion there were 6 of us and we had the set meal menu for £39 which is great value. Our meal was amazing 10/10.
The set up and location are 10/10, the service again, fantastic - Alcohol - cocktails 🍷 are a tad pricey. See you in a few weeks, already booked to go back!
Food is great but the space is too small and music is too damn loud for dinner time.
Absolutely delicious food
Absolutely phenominal meal, it was brilliant from start to finish! Outstanding service, delicious food for EVERY course and really lovely wine to go with it. Can’t recommend Con Gusto enough!!! A jewel for the Royal Arsenal and perfect for both special occasions and a treat on a Saturday night
Disappointed with the beef carpaccio as it was swimming in tasteless olive oil, the beef ragu however was delicious.
Everytime we go here we always have a good time. Food is so fresh and tasty.
This restaurant is a true gem of the area. The food is always amazing, the service is always impeccable and I would highly recommend this to any in the area. You will not regret the choice.
Truly amazing food (up there with the best London has to offer), great value and great service...but the chairs are a bit oddly small.
