Food was excellent, everything tasted great! Great price too!
This place is great as a bar, but as a restaurant - No! I know we wouldn't recommend and won't be going back for anything other than a potential happy hour.
The food was ok. The service was practically non-existent, and for the overall cost, it all does not line up. I wanted something different for my birthday which is why I chose this place. Hindsight being what it is, I would have rathered we stay home, in our pj's, by the fireplace. Oh well, we gave it a shot!
The ambience makes this place.
I’ll come back for the entertainment but not for the food. I expected better.
Okay if if like your beer in either a can or plastic cup. Also my crab bisque came to my table the same time my dinner came, and it was not hot.
The atmosphere was great, and the cheese steak spring rolls were delicious. The service was very nice. However, the Cabernet tasted like an old bottle and the rest of the food was ok. For such a great location, I would go back again.
It was not worth the price.
The price of the food was a little much for certain items, but you received an awful lot of it. Copper's house Wing Sauce was excellent as also their Lobster Mac and Cheese.
It was my wife who was most critical critical, but I know we'll be back their soon.
Our first visit to this Trenton institution, and husband and I were both lamenting that we weren't in our 20s again, and with a group of our friends. Ambiance was lively in this gorgeous old building, and our server tried hard to help us find a place to sit where we could relax and enjoy each other's company for a few hours, but acoustics and music and concert prep was just too much on this night. We'd love to go back with a group, or in warmer weather in order to enjoy the gorgeous outside seating areas.
We ordered drinks and appetizers. Our Bloody Mary's were thin and FAR too peppery (try horseradish!) and while the crab dip was perfect size and the chips and pita triangles were yummy, the dip itself was a little bland. We decided not to take dinner, as planned.
This is a special place within an historic building and extraordinary views of the Delaware River. However, lukewarm coffee, salad with rotting greens, day old tater tots and poorly trained staff undermined the ambiance.
The setting, along the Delaware River is lovely. The service was great. The menu is limited but the food is good. The only real complaint is the beer menu. They were out of several advertised draft selections. What was there was limited. They have a nice stage and have live bands on the weekend. We had other plans, so weren’t able to stay for the band.
They were totally unaware of the reservation made on Open Booking
This was a brunch and we were the first people there, so restaurant was still in kind of a set up
Overall we thought it was a good brunch and service was was acceptable ( but bar service was a bit slow). Good value based on review of menu and would make trip back for a
Lunch or dinner and they seem to have a good plan for happy hour.
Interest is also checking out band and entertainment in the future as well. It’s also a nice local setting on the Delaware River where you can find a seat on the waters edge..nice location.
I was told
It’s only been open for a few months...worth checking out the place.
Lunch date with my Mother. Made reservations due to the fact it was an option and it was my first experience dining in this location myself so I wanted to plan everything smoothly, Unfortunately it wasn’t.
The hostess was great but she wasn’t even aware I made the reservations on open table app. that was the first mistake. The hostess mentioned why a certain staff member didn’t tell her.
From the terrible service of our waitress who we had to ASK not serviced too. she forgot our drinks as quickly as she took her time to even get our order for drinks. It literally took 10 minutes to have our cold non alcoholic beverages served. She never acknowledged her service of customers, we weren’t the only ones disappointed, I just refuse to tip a non factor who puts there personal into business.
Listen the whole experience was just tacky. I like to spend money so that will be one location I won’t bother trying again. Nor my mother who was excited to have lunch by the cool breeze and just eat great food and catch up, but we were to distracted by catching up to our waitress for our drinks, food and even our check!
Sad part is, the place wasn’t that busy for lunch. I have no idea why the chef came to our table. I complained and ask for the manager. Never said the food was disgusting sooo that goes to show you and to tell you truth on how well our waitress is so attentive.
-Two stars for the cleanliness and Food.
Great venue. Live music was very loud but good. Food was decent. The nacho app was very tasty. The crab pasta was way too soupy the noodles could not hold up to the "soupyness" maybe a thicker linguine would work and less liquid. The salmon was ok as was the filet.
Upon arrival I was surprised to be seated in the un-air conditioned section of the restaurant on a hot, humid day. My party of five were willing to keep our table and tried the open windows. We were pleasantly surprised that the breeze off the river made it quite comfortable. Our server was attentive and the food was tasty. My crab-cake sandwich was delicious!
Very nice venue with good band and dancing. Sat by the water and it was very nice. Caesar salad was very good and drinks were reasonable and good. Great service! Will definately be back!
The restaurant is beautiful. It's open air and has amazing views. The menu is simple but my food was good. It was well worth the drive and I would definitely go again.
Went there for lunch with a friend. The menu is very small......like very small. I think you can add a few more items to make the menu more appealing.
We had a fabulous dinner and the view of the Delaware was amazing. Every staff member we encountered was very pleasant and our server Jordan was fun, engaging and very attentive. Only criticism I would have is there was considerable arranging and rearranging of tables and chairs in the area we were dining that was loud and distracting. That’s probably best to be attended to prior to diners arriving. Was a tremendous experience overall and we will definitely be back. We’re happy to see someone in this venue, it’s a great Trenton treasure.
It was a verywarm, humid day. We were seated indoors but that indoor area is right next to an open terrace area so the indoor area where we were seated was very warm and humid. We ordered chicken fingers off the regular menu and the buffet. There were a dozen or so items at the buffet. Some were not very good. The chili and melted cheese were both very good. The pasta was good. You can choose very small pieces of chicken or shrimp to add to the pasta. 3 sauce options The pulled pork was good. The salad was ok. The cookies were ok. For $10 the buffet is a decent value. The staff were friendly. We went late afternoon and they were just getting busy with their happy hour crowd. The regular menu has a hamburger, grilled chicken and fried chicken sandwich. Prices on the regular menu are a bit expensive. For example, the chicken tenders were $10. We got 5 decent suzed pieces of tenders, but you could do better with frozen supermarket tenders in terms of taste and value.
Had an 11am reservation- arrived 7 minutes early and the place was 'not set up yet' so we were told to have a seat outside on the deck until they were ready. That was fine- we ultimately preferred to be seated outside. Everything we ordered had an excuse- no rye bread for toast- no wheat bread- no Smashburger on weekends- no hashbrowns (just tator tots). Maybe they need some time to find their groove... but I'm staying away for a while- not to mention $14 for a 3 egg omelet is a bit expensive- even if it comes with a few potatoes! On a positive note- the Bloody Marys were decent.
Great location. If you are patient it's a good time. We had 11 o'clock reservations, buffet wasn't ready until 1120 or so. The omelet station Chet could use some additional training. Overall though the staff is pleasant, and the managers are accepting of feed back.
Great services, good food.
We were meeting some out-of-town friends and told them that we had never been here, that it was new and we wanted to try it out. That's always risky but Cooper's came through with flying colors! We went last Thursday, and they said that it was their first full week of being open. We can't wait to go back! Craig was the bartender and also our waiter and he was super attentive, always with a smile. It is such a great and unique atmosphere, so picturesque. The apps, our drinks, the view and our meals were all very good. We are looking forward to trying the $10 all you can eat buffet on Fridays, and are excited to have a new "not chain" restaurant around!!
Made reservations through open table and was extremely frustrated to find out when we arrived that they were charging a $10.00 per person cover charge for a band that was going to be playing outside.
Even after pleading our case that we made reservations for dinner, and where not there to see the band outside, we were still charged the cover charge. Oh but we did get two $5.00 vouchers for drinks.
Then we decide to make the best of the situation at asked to be seated outside. We were seated, and by looking around we noticed that no one had any food. We waited for 15 minutes for s server, no one came to our table. My husband asked the manager if we could get a server do we could at least order drinks. Finally a server came up our table, but they only had 2 beers on tap and a limited menu.
With that, we decided to leave. Had to get into a slight argument to get our $20.00 charge back.
Cool place with potential, but slimy practice of charging a cover when you made reservations to fine. Poor management, poor service, limited beer of tap.
Ideal place to have brunch with scenic view, great seating locations .
Very good Mother’s Day brunch! Loved the omelets!
