I’ve always liked Copper Blossom but I always fine the food a disappointment. The vegetables were ribboned but it was like it was the outer skin so very tough to cut.

Staff great as were the cocktails

I booked CopperBlossom for a wedding anniversary meal. It was a Monday so it was not as busy as at the weekend. Service was excellent and website enjoyed our meals and cocktails.

Beautifully decorated, lively venue. Food isn't Michelin Starred but it is very good value for money. Great for informal dinner and drinks with friends or for lunch. Staff are super lovely too

Went to Copper Blossom with my mum for lunch. Had the 3 bites for £12 and drinks. Food was excellent and great value for money. Staff were attentive and friendly. Quirky decor and something different . Will definitely be back.

After hearing rave reviews about this place me & my 2 friends came for lunch on Sunday. I ordered the chicken burger which came & after 2 bites i looked and it was pink inside with blood and tough, sent this back and asked for a cheeseburger instead as this had put me off the chicken. Was told that it was just a vein and the chef had checked the chicken so they would take chicken burger off the bill ( even though i sent this back) could not eat the cheeseburger as the previous had put me off eating, was charged for this. Also asked for a btl of prosecco at start of dinner which never came and had to re ask same waitress who could not remember us ordering it. All over bad service & experience. Will not be back.

We had a great lunch for my neice’s Birthday. Staff were lovely and not intrusive. The food was very good and perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back for more. The lift outside for anyone unable to climb the stairs was a great touch. I will recommend Copper Blossom to my friends and family.

The restaurant is stunning, decor is very unique, pretty and a nice change from the other bars/restaurants on george street.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and really enhanced our visit. They made suggestions and also called us a taxi to avoid us having to walk to the nearest rank.

Was a really great visit

Went here for Sunday lunch and the roast beef option which was absolutely delicious - beef was nicely pink, generous portions of veg, all nicely presented & served by very friendly staff. Looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely meal spoilt when we asked for the bill, as soon as we received the bill waitress walked up and down behind us with the debit machine, very uncomfortable made us want to get our coats and go. Not a nice way to end a meal

They did it again! Another brilliant 5* visit to Copper Blossom. Had a marvellous time with my friend, the staff were friendly & attentive to our needs, & our personalised drinks were beautifully decorated with flowers! The magic touch. Can’t wait to visit again!

We had lunch at Copper Blossom on Saturday for my 40th Birthday
We were greeted when we arrived by a friendly woman and shown to the table
The service from then was pretty average and we never felt overly welcome
The food was tasty enough but the service definitely let down our experience
I had been to Copper Blossom before but not sure whether we would return

Booked this week before for Birthday dinner 23rd February with my husband & 2 Girls. Asked for quiet table. Was told in advance about a piano player.
We were seated next to loud DJ, couldnt hear ourselves speak & was like a nightclub not a restaurant.
Food average.
Very noisy.
Would not recommend.
Very disappointing end to my Birthday.

We were greeted with a friendly smile and our table was ready although we were early. We had a 2 for £19 main course deal and the choice was good for us. Lovely food and a good sized portion. The atmosphere was very buzzy and fun. We would certainly go back and would recommend to others.

Myself and a friend visited Copper Blossom in Edinburgh on Saturday10th February travelling all the way from Newcastle, which we were very excited to enjoy a nice meal. However, when our starter was brought over after taking a bite of a Ham and Cheese Croquette it was apparent that the croquette was not actually cooked and still frozen. This is not acceptable from a restaurant of this calibre and although was dealt with swiftly by staff, we were then given a new set of croquettes by a quite frankly rude member of staff who came over and said "are these ones better for you", which beyond a stupid question - making us feel like we kicked up a fuss, however who wants to pay for a frozen meal? We were then met with a burger which can only be described as below average at best, next time we will stick to mcdonalds. The table next to us also had some issues during their meal, when they found part of a wooden skewer in amongst their food, the manager did deal with this however no food should be served in this manner. Although we were given a discount on the meal, I do not believe this makes up for the fact we were practically given an ice cube to eat. Overall a very disappointing experience and will not be recommending to anyone in the future.

My wife & I had a great night at Copper Blossom on SAT 27th Jan - phoned at 7:30 to say we were running slightly late and would probably be nearer 8 than 7:45pm which was time we had originally booked for, person who answered phone said this would not be a problem.
One minor hiccup, I asked for Shepherds pie and was given fish pie by mistake. Once I pointed this out was immediately offered a fresh shepherds pie, as I didn't want to wait I decided to keep fish pie which tasted fine, both our waitress and person who took us to our table couldn't be more apologetic and when bill came there was no charge for the fish pie.
Our table was a booth which was great, was a DJ playing all evening which created a really good atmosphere, place was really busy and waitress service all night was really good, unfortunately I can't remember waitresses name.
My wife enjoyed cocktails she had through-out the evening. First time in Copper Blossom but would definitely like to go back next time in Edinburgh both for food and drink.
