Food and service were excellent but didn’t get the 25% off deal even though selected on the app. Still good value though!
Although we had a table behind a wall so we could not experience the true ambience and personality of the venue we had a very enjoyable meal.
Unfortunately we did not get a chance to savour more cocktails so it looks like we will just have to come back.
Thank you for an enjoyable evening
So glad I had booked our table online as when we arrived it was really busy. We arrived slightly early for our 2.15pm booking but were taken straight to our table by a very friendly waitress. Having looked online prior to our visit I knew already what I was going to have, we ordered our food and drinks. Service was excellent even though it was very busy. Service can struggle when restaurant/bars are busy but Copper Blossom doesn't they have it spot on! My mum and I both ordered off of the light bites menu and really enjoyed what we ate, 2 each was enough for us. After our food I ordered a cocktail expecting to wait for this but again hardly any time had passed and I have got to say it was the most delicious cocktail I have ever had, I cannot wait to return even if its just to have one of these - Green Lemonade if anyone wants to try! I cannot wait to return and try something off the main menu as the food looked really tasty! Thanks for a great afternoon and now one of my fav places to go!
If you are looking for a great cocktail or just a drink I would highly recommend. It's the food that let's it down. I ordered the fish and chips and was disappointed to see it was frozen fish. Not what you would expect for the price.
Drink here eat elsewhere
Must have enjoyed it going again next week!
Excellent service and food.
Great place, food was great, but the cocktails were superb! Really creative and presentation was first class. Very attentive service but in a relaxing way.
Just felt it lacked atmosphere and they had run out of salmon and it was only lunchtime!
I always have the best experience at copper blossom which is why it’s my favourite place to go in edinburgh! the staff are always so lovely and attentive, i can’t remember the names of those who always go above and beyond but next time i’m in i will try remember as they always give incredible service! The new food menu is great and the cocktails are always the absolute best, the new menu is great and I can’t wait to try some more! I do miss the floral tipple cocktail but gives me a push to try different ones. The cherry blossom will always be my favourite but the apples and pears, copper bramble, green lemonade and tiki dreams were excellent! Such an incredible place with obviously the most beautiful decor! Thank you!
Gem of a place.V busy and somewhat noisy even at 5:30pm on a Saturday.Popular with customers of all ages.Absolutely gorgeous decor - think blossom, Japanese airy feel with industrial influences.Service was friendly and efficient.Food was lovely - the Halloumi chips and gnocchi particularly good, as was the Pinot Grigio.Would definitely return.
Although there was only two of us in for at least half an hour the staff were really friendly and inviting. So it was quite quiet but not much atmosphere but it did get better as it got busier
Really lovely nicely presented food excellent value with the offer we claimed through top table. Would go back. Service a bit sloppy but nothing major
Food was good, but not great. Menu was different on Open Table than what was presented in restaurant.
Beautiful surroundings, great service although portion could have been bigger! Excellent value with the CB loyalty card too!
I booked a table thinking it would be busy as they were running a 2 for 1 on main plates and 2 cocktails for £8 for loyalty Card holders. And I noticed that morning on their Facebook Page that they had actually introduced a new menu and were offering 50% off all food. But the waiter didn't know about the offer and it wasn't being advertised anywhere in the restaurant/bar or on the menu. I find this very strange particularly as we were there from 1pm-2.30 and there were only 3 other tables occupied. Surely they should be promoting this offer to help fill a very empty restaurant.
The food itself was very nice and the menu choice was very good. The decor is lovely and the staff at the door friendly. The service was good to begin with but I felt we were forgotten about and I had to go to the bar to ask for the bill and again to actually pay it. I've been to the George Street branch many times for cocktails and meals and this is the first time I have to say I was pretty disappointed with the experience.
Hopefully this was a "one off" and I intend to return.
Had lunch here with friends on a Wednesday. Wasn't overly busy therefore not too noisy which suited us perfectly. Food excellent, server friendly and very helpful (he recognised us from a previous visit and welcomed us back, which was really nice). Would highly recommend.
The service was very blunt and abrupt, the drinks are over priced for the quantity and taste and the music was terrible and too loud. Will not be back.
We had an excellent lunch here. We chose the 2 Steaks with a bottle of wine offer which at £40 for two was excellent value. Our steaks were cooked just as we like them and the wine was very nice. We can definitely recommend this place and will return
Must of been a bad night for Copper Blossom. Waiter accidentally spilled dessert on our table and drinks went everywhere. Accidents happen so wasn’t a huge issue and replaced drinks. Got seated at another table but noise was unbearable, so only had the one drink and left which is unfortunate.
Nice busy city centre bar , food was good , decent portions , prices what you’d expect to pay in Edinburgh
Lovely meal, HOWEVER serving staff did not know enough in regards to the menu and wine, we asked a couple of very simple questions and both times the server had to go away to ask someone else. Also we were moved tablea twice despite having only just ordered a second bottle of bubbly. Why serve another expensive wine to then say 2 minutes later we need the table now! Did manage to find us another table to sit at but a bit off putting, if they hadn't were we to stand holding a wine bucket and glasses!! Th e restaurant looks lovely but on close inspection needs a bit of TLC, table we were sat at also had a constant smell of fish due to the proximity of the kitchen and also maybe try not to spray customers with a strong substance when cleaning tables adjacent. All in all lovely food, nice restaurant but not perfect, to many people standing around the bar area next to tables for diners. I enjoyed my meal but would not book.to find again because of these issues.
Superb food, service & atmosphere. The cocktails were excellent too! Will definitely be back.
We had a lovely time, it was s first for both of us and we immediately loved the decor and flowers sound the restaurant. The staff were very nice and accomodating, I personally greatly enjoyed all the music being played as well. The food was outstanding and the drinks were just as good. We plan to come back again and bring family with us to copper blossom.
A nice place to meet, good buzz even on week day. Food I had was ok, could have been seasoned better and wasn't very hot. Foyer looks and smells lovely. Happy to recommend.
Food was just average and I was freezing because of the air conditioning. Won’t rush back.
Nice vibe great food. Cocktails average tbh and service a bit sluggish. Would visit again.
Had I a fantastic meal with my partner when we visited for my birthday weekend. Food was amazing and so was the ambiance with a great vibe. Will definitely come again on our next trip up and will recommend to anyone to go whether it's food or drinks or both. Loved it x
The only frustrating part to this experience was the lack of staff when we arrived. Had to wait at the bar for the barman to finish a round of cocktails before we were seated.
After that it was brilliant! Food was delicious and they were very helpful pointing out options that were gluten-free. We had cocktails after dinner and they were great - lots of choice and served to the table quickly.
Will definitely be coming again.
Starters were excellent. I could have eaten so many portions of the “bites”. Main course slightly disappointing. I felt the ox cheek was slightly bland and lacked flavour, but was still nice. Staff friendly and informative. Apologised for our wait for starters and did frequent check backs and drinks offers.
Lovely place for a catchup with my friend
Had a lovely lunch
We enjoyed our lunch at Copper Blossom recently. The food was good, the drinks menu was varied and the staff were very helpful and pleasant.
My mum and I visited Copper Blossom for a much needed break from Shopping. We ordered the olives to start to share then I had the CBLT and my mum had the Fried Haloumi open sandwich. The food was very yummy, the staff were really attentive but not to the point where we felt smothered. We both ordered white wine spritzers which were in huge glasses, filled with ice just as we like! We would recommend to anyone, excellent food, service and decor! We didn’t realise two hours had passed by! We could have stayed longer.
Loved Copper Blossom . Even though it was a busy Saturday night during the festival , we couldn’t fault the food and service . Definitely be back again soon . Thank you again .
Excellent staff - as always!
Great value Prosecco and nibbles
All Very good. Felt like the food was good value but the drinks were not... and I live in Zone 1 London so it’s rare for
Me to notice this! The service and the staff were awesome though and it’s a nice place to sit and enjoy drinks or food
Went for an early dinner at 6pm. The low quality led lights embedded above our table had a low flicker and made us feel queasy. The noise from the drunken secretaries was oppressive. We had the 4 for 15 quid snacks, yet the bill had it as 24 quid: when I complained, pointing out "4 for 15" was printed on the receipt, I was told I was wrong and only when I pressed did they admit I was right!? Food was adequate. Not my scene.
Nice atmosphere, relaxed with good service and the food was good to. Would recommend
really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. just watch that little step up in the restaurant - saw a lady fall over but overall really really worth going
This was our second visit but the Sunday Roast wasn’t as good as I’d previously seen ! Was in share boards but apparently this has changed and was expensive for what we received so we were slightly disappointing on this occasion
