Enjoyed our food it was superb & reasonable priced, cocktails were amazing defo be back
Scrummy meal yet again. Slight moan for soft fish batter but still tasty.
Very enjoyable dinner and drinks. Plentiful and delicious food, reasonably priced with lovely service. Liked the relaxed ambiance and cool blues music. Great value for a nice night out.
Another brilliant afternoon. Excellent food and service outstanding.
Great staff and lovely lunch in lovely ambient setting
It was my first time at Copper Blossom and I went there because I heard it was nice. The atmosphere is peculiar and quirky but that is the only think it was ok. We were greeted by a non interested member of the staff and sat in our table, the menu is pub food and for the prices we were expecting some quality. The starter or bites are 6 pounds each, we ordered haggis bombom and hallumi fries, there were 2 bomboms, really, 2 bomboms 6 pounds? We we asked they waitress she said nothing. My sandwich was worst than bought shop and the burger was mediocre, the funny thing is that we were asked if we wanted sauces and we said yes, the blond lady never came back!!!! We run out of water and we were never asked if we wanted more. I would have given my feedback but I was never asked how was my meal! Also I was embarrassed having to ask for the 30% discount for booking through open table, I asked for it any way because I didn’t want to pay full price nor for the service nor for the food!! First and last time
Great food, relaxed atmosphere, good service. Exactly what we were looking for that night.
This is the third time in a month I’ve visited Copper Blossom and it never fails to impress. I love the decor, the food, the cocktails and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Would absolutely recommend that you go. They have a lift for any wheelchair users and a variety of seating that would ensure anyone could join.
Lovely meal, great service and fab cocktails. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Edinburgh
Popped in for light dinner between Christmas and New Year, the place was jumping. Had a couple of lovely meals, served pretty quickly considering how busy it was.
Would definitely go back.
Best Vegetarian Christmas dinner we have ever had. Amazing cocktails too. Great service and happy ambiance. We are so happy we decided to go there for Christmas Eve. Outstanding!
Excellent attentive service. A wee tad expensive but worth it for location
Copper Blossom is a lovely place...only downsides being limited menu and starter very disappointing. Ordered haggis bon bons to share, we got one each!!!!! For £6 it was not worth that 👎 waitress should have mentioned that the starter was so small...would revisit but for drinks only
Really enjoyed my first visit to Copper Blossom. Loved the relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food and cocktails. Both myself and daughter will definitely come back and have already recommended this lovely place to my friends.
We have been to copper blossom many times and always enjoyed the food and service we have received. We were very disappointed with our recent visit, it was not buisy and the staff were not at all attentive. The starters were overly priced for what you get. My son had the haggis Bon Bon which was delicious but £6 for 2 Bon bons is expensive, haloumi sticks were good, houmus was bland and chicken skewers were awful. The beef burger was good, chicken burgers and beef stroganoff was ok and the Mac n cheese didn’t arrive, we did ask about it to be told it was coming but by the time my son finished his burger and it still hadn’t arrived we told the lady to cancel it. A table close to ours had 2 older lady’s with a young girl around 5years old who’s behaviour was terrible and very distracting to others around their table, I think the staff should have perhaps asked the table to have consideration for other customers. Our meal came to around £100. and we left feeling very disappointed and completely let down.
Had a lovely lunch with my friend in a lovely surrounding
Nice friendly welcome, service prompt..cocktails tasty but expensive...
Soup was watery and tasteless no condiments on table and none offered.
Waitress was very welcoming and attentive and made our visit
Lovely meal with my mum late sunday afternoon. Great buzzy atmosphere with personal service.
Excellent day great service and great food the atmosphere was really nice and staff were extremely helpful
Been to copper blossom a numver of times however this tome was disappointing.
Over 20 minutes to be served to take oyr order. 39 minutes to wait after our starter meal for our main meal. We werent offered the sunday carvery menu. Overall disappointing.
Nice bar with a good selection of drinks and cocktails. The food is basic but fine!
Only issue was had changed champagne but not changed on menu. Changed from Perrier joules to piper Heinsick which we do not like. Ended up paying £20 more for champagne we liked. The main reason we went there was for the reasonable priced champagne so doubt if will be back again
Food was excellent and good seat ! It was so busy and noisy ! thankfully table service for us as the bar was crowded and would have been standing a while at the bar . Staff were run off their feet !
Usually love this place but sad to report that the Christmas experience was awful. Service poor and food worse. From dry turkey to lukewarm hard vegetables and burnt potaoes. Sadly not one thing I could say to make this any better. Total bill of £365 for 6 people to come away feeling no Christmas cheer. Not good enough.
Greeted upon arrival and taken to a table and offered a drink while I waited for a friend to arrive. All good so far... then 3 or 4 mins later another waiter asked if I wanted a drink, so I relented and ordered one. My friend arrived and was also offered a drink and ordered one. Drink arrived and we were asked if we were ready to order food. Give us a few minutes we asked. In the space of less than 10 mins we were asked 3 times. I got the impression they wanted us through the place quickly. After the food arrived service nose dived and getting attention was difficult to say the least. In fact when trying to pay we put our coats on and went to the till to pay. We both ordered a sour dough veggie stack. The roasted veg was cold, the toasted sour dough was soggy...however the chips were nice. But for £10 it was overpriced and poor quality
Fab venue. Great service. Lovely decor. Food and wine excellent
Very nice. Really enjoyed the meal. Good value for money.
I loved the feel of this place, it is so pretty! The service was fab and the food was yummy. We shared the houmous between us, one of the best we’ve had, served with warm pitta then we had the open sandwiches which were lovely too. The bathrooms are super clean and gorgeous! Def worth a trip and great lunch venue to escape the horrible weather.
Fab ambience! Seasonally decorated but I think it would lovely regardless. Prompt service, friendly staff and reasonably priced food with a good choice on the menu. Would recommend and will be back.
We’ve been to Edinburgh Christmas Market for the last two years and both times have eaten here. Food lovely service good friendly attentive staff. Never disappoints would recommend
Great city centre location for food or just drinks.
We had also visited on Saturday night and had the most amazing cocktails. The “bites” were delicious. Unfortunately there was a different bar person on Monday and “The Old Fashioned” wasn’t as good...they seemed to rush it and then they run out of orange bitters....but apart from that it was a great place.
We arrived to be told there was next to nothing left on the menu which made it very difficult to pick something we liked to eat. We ended up having to get the burger which was average at best. At the end there was an extra £7.00 charge for fries that we never had. Drinks were good but expensive. Nice decor and ambience but not worth the money and wouldn’t return.
Service was excellent and food was delicious
Love the decor, the staff were very friendly and the food was lovely.( We had the Beef Stroganof) It was our first visit. And have booked again for December when we have our Ladies day out.
Lovely place for drinks and food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cocktails were excellent!
Great atmosphere as always the music was fantastic. Too long of a wait to get served at the bar though but when you did the drinks were fantastic. Booked as a surprise party for my girlfriends birthday and booking the tables was very easy got two calls to confirm numbers and take some details. Have always really enjoyed Copper Blossom and will need to come back to try the food!
Service was incredibly slow with taking our order, getting our drinks and then getting our food. Starter portions are extremely small. 3/4 of us ordered espresso martinis and the waitress recommended we upgrade to the flat white martini. We took her advice however it was a lot sweeter and thicker than an espresso martini. More of a dessert drink. We had to order proseco as we couldn’t drink them. The waitress didn’t even notice we didn’t drink them.
Food was nice though, decent menu and gorgeous restaurant.
