The service wasn't the best and the tables were sticky.
The food was amazing, and the service was great as well
We met friends for dinner and were seated in the main dining room. It was so loud that we couldn’t easily converse but our waiter was very helpful and found us a place in the outside bar area. The food and service were great but we are not likely to return due to the noise level.
Slow service. Long food delay with no one there by comfortable seating. Unremarkable in every possible way
Everything was great except that I ordered rainbow trout and they served me salmon. I’m not one to complain but I was hoping the server would know the difference. Everything else was wonderful!
Food is fantastic; a bit pricey is why 4 stars instead of 5
The waitress was new so maybe that was it. Why wear a mask? It was below her nose. Restaurant fairly empty when we arrived. Took forever to get drink order. Then it took forever forever for it to arrive. Plus she forgot one drink. Checked on us once. Save your time go to shirlington location or go elsewhere. Biscuits were over done. Sausage gravy lacking flavor. The best thing was the jalapeño cheese donut.
Great food and service. A bit noisy though but not overwhelming.
Everything was delicious! Very happy with our meals!
Our server Onaleigh was amazing! So professional, knowledgeable and great energy!!
The food was great but the service was slow.
The food was over priced. I had the duck breast and it lacked flavor. My husband had rabbit and it was slightly better.
The staff was wonderful and accommodating when we wanted to change seats. They were great with the order and gave us the best service.
Tasty food, but Way too Loud, they need some noise softening decor.
It's a great location and the menu is nice. The food prices are on the higher end for what you get. The restaurant wasn't crowded and the food came out at a reasonable time but after that, we barely saw our server. The 'shareable sides' are priced for sharing with multiple people but the sides were barely more than an individual serving. I'm more likely to return for lunch or drinks than dinner.
Great atmosphere and good food! Farm to table.
You know I have always enjoyed the Brunch but this last visit was off. The floor was dirty pretty much everywhere, large piece of chicken on the floor under our table, we asked for a few things we never received i.e jam for the toast etc., the windows smudgy. It's one of those things and I see it all the time, it's like a restaurant gets comfortable then things start to slack, whether it be cleanliness, service, or food quality.
Service was amazing! The trout entree and fried goat cheese appetizer were spectacular. Great dessert menu. The salmon was not as fresh compared to the quality of the trout, so stick with locally sourced meats and you will be fine.
duck was good
We always have a great experience at Copperwood! The food is delicious, service is great, and the atmosphere is nice.
We had a wonderful dining experience. Great food and great service!
Copperwood is one of my favorite restaurants in NoVa. The food, service and experience is always consistent. I also love that they’re dog friendly!
I took my mother here for a Mother's day dinner. The food was great, as always. At first, my Mother's filet mignon was over cooked. The manager came by to check on us and I informed him of this and he took the steak and brought her another that was cooked perfectly and removed the cost of her cocktail from our bill. Other than the manager making right, the steak, etc., the a service wasn't very good. That was a disappointment. If the service had been better, I would have given 5 stars.
Has to wait more than 30 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation. Hostess did not care and didn’t offer any type of compensation. Was rude and dismissive when we checked back with her at the 20 minute mark. Everything was way too overpriced for the quality and amount of food you received. Would not go back.
Our waiter, Deron, was friendly and courteous. He brought our order out in a timely manner. The food was prepared as requested and delicious. The food items were fresh and we could taste each flavor.
The accessibility of this location is great. Everything was as it should be regarding Covid. We had shrimp w/grits and Salmon Salad. Neither was tasty enough to make me return or order that again, but nothing to complain about. Very middle of the road.
There are other menu items I’m interested in trying and again easy location and prompt reservation seating.
None of the outdoor tables were being bussed, even though it was not that busy. The service was quite slow, as it took a long time to get drinks, food, ketchup, and then the check. My steak was a bit over cooked and the eggs were not good.
Overall this place was a disappointment. The service was terrible and the food was ok. This place was truly a disappointment
Order incorrect but still good service and food
Had a great experience celebrating for a birthday, they were way accommodating of our demanding bunch.
Poor service by servers in dirty uniforms.
Amazing food and service. We’re regulars here and coming here for brunch is a must!
Slow service. Slow food service. Multiple chairs with loose legs. Food was okay. Sour pear cocktail, omelet was nothing special, no popcorn served to our table, only the French Toast was a hit. I'll share in more detail on Yelp. Nearly empty but so loud!
The food was mediocre at best and the service was horrendous. All of the food lacked flavor. The server, I believe his name was Keith, was even worse. He forgot multiple items and had to be reminded several times for basic things like water and silverware. We asked for a to go item well in advance of the time we were leaving. Once the check arrived, we noticed it was never put it but based on how the rest of the meal went we decided it was for the best. Once we gave him the credit card to pay, he did try to come back and say that it will be out in 10-15 minutes but we declined.
The bathroom looked like a tornado went through. There was no toilet paper in any of the stalls, there was trash strewn about and dust covered the baby changing table.
The restaurant concept is great but their execution leaves a lot to be desired.
We sat at the bar and were the only ones there. The bartender was great very knowledgeable about whiskey and wine.
It was our first time there. So we thought to try it out. Customer service was really good. We ordered the oysters. They were really good and after we finished we saw worms on the shell. First time I ever seen little worms. We told them about and they reassured us that it’s normal and that the staff didn’t rinse them off really food. We googled it and they were correct and they even comped it for us. My wife had the braised rabbit in a pasta and it was tasteless. My daughter had the filet and it wasn’t so good. The French onion soup was ok nothing special and the 32 oz $76 tomahawk steak was mostly fat. The place is really nice casual and relaxing place and the waitress was good and the manager as well that came to talk to us about the oysters was very nice as well and apologized. I don’t think we will come back because of the food!
Good food, good drink, clean, comfortable.
The food is always good here. The price is very reasonable. Prompt friendly service, and kept an eye on our beverages for refills! This is one of my favorite spots for breakfast and brunch.
Steak did not have much flavor and the fries were grossly overcooked. There were only three tables in the whole restaurant, with at least four or five people working there. You think that they could at least get the french fries right. Like the ambience. Didn’t care much for the food or service. One cup of coffee was cold
