Focusing on only the best locally sourced ingredients with a mouth-watering menu consisting of free range rotisserie chicken, gourmet beef burgers and a spectacular array of Coqtails served by some of the most passionate bartenders in the West End.

After the great success of the two venues based in Ireland, owner Patrick Frawley couldn’t resist but bring the tongue-in-cheek brand to Soho in the heart of Piccadilly Circus. Their lively and energetic take on casual dining will leave you only wanting to stay longer.

Coqbull Soho consists of three exquisite bars spread across four floors with a spacious outside dining area and a one-of-a-kind rooftop terrace with heaters and blankets at the ready.     My son chose this venue and we had a great birthday evening. We waited a while for our food, but when it arrived it was well cooked and flavoursome. Music was loud at one point, but to be honest the music creates a good ambiance. Only thing was it was very dark inside. Thoroughly enjoyed by all.

    We had a whole Coq with fries and coleslaw. It was moist and tender and delicious! Chips with skin on and the garlic aioli was good! Glitterbox cocktail was gorgeous! Sweet but it was definitely one to sip! But was very moreish! Will definitely book again but hopefully on the roof terrace!! Looked lovely up there. Just very busy, being London Pride!

    We sat outside at Coqbull on the terrace but sadly mid way through our meal we were hit by an absolutely downpour storm and it was a total washout. The staff made no attempt to help us move inside and the food was totally ruined. Initially they wouldn't even give us a table inside, despite there being plenty of space, eventually we were offered some free snacks but didnt really make up for it. Wouldn't go back.

    It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great either. We were a table of 12 colleagues, the food came out in 3 sections each with about 5-10mins apart so we couldn’t eat together and when the food did arrive it was cold. Items missing. Our server was on the ball but no smiles at all, and we definitely didn’t get any apology for the delayed food. It was a shame as we were really looking forward to experiencing Coqbull, sad to say it didn’t meet our expectations.

    I took my Sister to Coqbull for her birthday yesterday, before watching a comedy show. I realised on the way to the venue that in haste I had booked the right time, but the wrong day! On arrival at the venue I spoke with a staff member (I assume he was the manager on shift as he was dressed smartly and explained that all other staff were currently on a training session). He was so understanding and explained that he had a large party arriving that evening but that we could use the roof terrace for a couple of hours until they needed to get the venue ready. He took us up to the terrace and personally served us, taking our food and drinks order. All the staff we met were attentive, professional and also gave us space and didn't make us feel rushed at all. The cocktails were amazing (in particular the basiltini!) and the food delicious. Thank you so much for making my Sisters birthday special, despite my error with the booking. I would 100% recommend this venue and will be returning when we are next in London :-) Thank you!

    The food was great, truly delicious and tender chicken. Popcorn chicken was so tender. Make sure you save room for dessert, the chocolate chip cookie is certainly a treat.

    Coqbull was a beautiful restaurant; very attentive, friendly staff; the food was incredible- I was only sorry I couldn’t manage to eat it all! I will be returning to London in December and will ABSOLUTELY be returning- hands down the beat chicken I’ve been eaten.

    We understood that outdoor/ roof top table could not be provided- Lizzie was really nice and helpful. However, the other waiter suggested to us to order before Happy Hour the drinks and we did, but that apparently could not go in to the system anymore…. I think that was a really big disappointment- there could have been found a solution maybe. Thank you

    We had a really great experience here. The staff were all very attentive and friendly, the food was great and the atmosphere was nice! The only thing I would say is the menu is quite small so potentially making more of a range of mains would be good! We will definitely be coming back for the cocktails!

    As my hobby i explorer bar's and restaurants to see overall the Service Price and atmosphere. I liked it a lot it was nice and cousy . FlVery friendly staff really really nice food and wine . I am going to repeat the experience for sure. Keep up the good work .

    From the front of house to the barman who mixed our son a surprise mocktail, every member of staff we encountered was exceptional. We had a table on the roof terrace and it had a great atmosphere. The food came quickly and everything was delicious. The half coq was particularly good value and the dirty fries were extremely tasty. I would not hesitate to return.

    Wonderful from beginning to end. Staff were phenomenal and I was especially excited when the concierge told me she loved my shoes! The food was fantastic and we loved the atmosphere on the roof terrace. I will highly recommend and I’m already planning my next visit.
