The food was not as good as usual. The scallops were smaller than the last couple of times being there. The scallop appetizer used to be terrific last night it was not. Collin our waiter was fantastic. Overall a good safe restaurant to meet new people but the food last night did not live up to prior experiences.
Service was top shelf and attentive. The kitchen had our dinners prepared quickly and expertly. The dessert was to die for. An incredible experience all around and the price for quality and service was a bargain. We will be going again
Food and ambiance were great, the food came out quickly and restaurant is accommodating to children. All food was delicious, potstickers, hush puppies (the best we have had ever), chicken and the special - lobster cakes. The Chocolate strawberry torte was light and delicious. will be back!
This was our first time at the Cork & Cap. The food was amazing. Portions were generously sized. Food was cooked as requested. Flavorful and satisfying. No wait time with reservation. Prepared quickly. Sat down at 6:00 pm. Ordered appetizers and meals. Paid and left by 6:50. Wonderful experience with great ambiance. Highly recommend!
Great meal and great atmosphere, this is our “go to” for a nice dinner out without kids.
Beautiful tavern style restaurant with exceptional food. My filet was perfect and delicious.
Table of 4. Perfect spring evening. Perfect atmosphere - sat in the courtyard. Perfect company and perfect meal and wine. Our server was attentive yet patient and considerate of our conversation and space.
This was an exceptional dinner experience! We were enjoying a tour to potentially host a wedding at the Cork Factory Hotel Ballroom and everything was impressive from Jenny our venue tour guide for event planning to each and every attendant at the restaurant ,where we were excited to sample the quality of the food. An absolutely wonderful meal and we would happily return!!
Service amazing, drinks and wine list great. Would recommend it to friends
Very good meal, excellent service. We will certainly return for more!
Great atmosphere - excellent service - great food choices and everything tasted great. We had a very lovely family celebration.
Great mother's day brunch spot. Plenty of room for our group of six plus the high chair. Server was very attentive and helpful. The scallops were amazing. It might be the best scallops I've ever had.
Excellent food and service for a romantic dinner fir my wife’s birthday.
My sister and I were first time diners last week and really enjoyed everything about the restaurant, especially the food. We will definitely be back and bring additional family members with us. We live about 30 minutes away and it was certainly worth the drive
The waiter just seemed very overwhelmed with the amount of tables he had. Everything just seemed very rushed.
The service is excellent- their staff is extremely knowledgeable about menu items. The food is unbelievably good.
I had the ribeye and my girlfriend had the braised beef. Both were very good, although my cut wasn't trimmed at all and had a bit of gristle in it. The server was a bit lackluster, and we often had to struggle to hear him and found ourselves in awkward silences with him. The overall quality was good, and we really liked the decor and atmosphere.
Very timely service, food was great, and the overall atmosphere is fantastic.
We had reservations for outside. At the last minute, due to weather, they did not open outside. Because we are not yet comfortable eating inside, they accommodated us in a private space. The hostess was eager to make things work for us. The food and service were excellent. Kudos to all at Cork and Cap.
Great meal but cocktail a bit watered down. Good service.
Start to finish a great experience! Great decor, clean, and excellent service. The food was spectacular would highly recommend!
Cork cozy and modern at the same time. I was very impressed with their set-up during this tome of COVID and gradual re-opening. The space is still cozy while being amply socially distanced and airy. Cork & Cap is a gem.
Good food and pleasant surroundings. Also not noisy
Had a great evening. Very relaxing atmosphere. Also a very cool place
The veal short ribs were amazing!
Great food, great service. Staff was very knowledgeable.
Our waiter Emmit was terrific. He was prompt, courteous and professional. The food was good. The only concern was we were in the room to the left when you entered and it was a bit chilly for me. I had to put my coat on as it seemed drafty.
Overall I would recommend this place to others
Really enjoyed the food and drinks but especially the building. Great experience !!
We loved our time here!! Our server was fantastic and we all had the most delicious meal. From the salads, the beef and the scallops, we all have a fantastic meal! And the environment was lovely.
We had a terrific experience. Food was fabulous, service was great. The only negative was that our waiter wore his mask below his nose, otherwise everything was lovely.
Where to even begin... simply put, this place is absolutely incredible!! Diver scallop appetizers were cooked to perfection- best scallops I’ve ever had! Brisket meal and Ribeye were delicious too! Jessie greeted us and checked to make sure we were good and our server Dylan was the freaking best!! To the chefs- whoever you may be- you deserve a raise because every single thing we tried was 5 out of 5. We dine at upscale restaurants often and this tops our list of one of the best we have ever been to. The whole experience was amazing!! Can’t wait to come back again.
The food was cooked to perfection, and the service was stellar.
The cocktails and crab cakes were fabulous!! Just go!!
Found Cork and Cap online. We enjoy seeing historical places reclaimed for new business. The history here runs deep into Lancaster history. Quiet, relaxing dinner with good food, service, pacing and price. A winner.
Quiet hole in the wall kind of place. absolutely the best meal I’ve ever had. I would come back to Lancaster just for this restaurant.
Amazing atmosphere!! Following COVID protocols to the T, I felt very self and comfortable. Our server was great and did not feel rushed at all. Food was amazing and we left very full, the portions are very large. I had the steak and my wife had the crab cakes yum. Outstanding!!!!!
Everything we had was fabulous. (filet, carb cake and crake dip) Our server was super nice and attentive. Only downside for me was no orange juice to make the drink I wanted.
Restaurant very hard to find with poor signage. Spent 10-15 minutes walking around in the cold. Called restaurant to get better idea where they were located and no one answered the phone after 10-15 rings.
Food ok, but nothing special. Seemed to be short staffed and bar tender also served as the waiter. Restaurant interior interesting with cozy atmosphere. Wouldn't rush to go back.
Great food and great service! Will be visiting again soon.
