Côte Brasserie - Bath

we went for xmas lunch and really enjoyed ourselves.

This exceptionally good example of the Cote Brasserie chain is obviously very popular and deservedly so. There is a great atmosphere in the beautiful historic building set in a tucked-away courtyard. The service was first class. The dishes were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented

Good service from the moment we arrived until we left. Food was tasty and arrived quickly.

Atmosphere was great, however could of been improved for a valentines day with perhaps some candles lit or even hearts or balloons? The prawn starter was in a runny sauce that would of been better with a of side bread. The prawns were overcooked & very chewy, did not taste fresh! The chateaubriand was excellent & we really enjoyed it, along with the dessert. Service was good but the food was coming out far too quick & we had 4 glassed of wine served before we even finished out kir Royale as part of the meal. I got the impression we were being rushed along with the couple by our side, perhaps in order to get as many people in for valentines day evening. On that basis of not putting the customer first, it sadly took the shine off the experience a little & doubt we will return again.

Always have the same ....steak frites. Consistently delicious.

Three of us for dinner...Boeuf Bourguignon for me, Breton Fish Stew for my wife and Sirloin Steak for my daughter. All perfectly executed with excellent service. Classic Côte B.

The food came very quickly and it was super tasty! Considering how wonderful the food was it was wonderfully priced too! Perfect date night

Good food, reasonable price, felt a bit crammed in but guess that’s the nature of the business

Made a reservation, but on arrival they were unable to find the reservation. Quite a lot of confusion and ended up being sat between two large parties as it seemed that this was the only table available.

Fantastic food as always. They had double booked our table but they sorted it out very swiftly and gave us all a dink on the house which was lovely. I had a wonderful birthday meal, thank you

Yes satisfactory meal in pleasant surroundings. Two hour table slot so food out fairly quickly. Good table /service food reasonable.

Excellent in every regard

All fine but when I arrived at restaurant the desk has no record of my booking despite me being notified with an email confirming my reservation
