Our waiter was fantastic, he answered questions and was very pleasant. The food was tasty however the starter portion size was very poor. Two of us had the chicken liver parfait and there were two minuscule, narrow pieces of bread. It definitely wasn’t value for money at all.

There are many great restaurants in Edinburgh, this is not one of them.

Good food. Slow service. Took almost 40 minutes to get our first course salads.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner and wine at the Cote brasserie. We have seen the brand in other UK cities but have never visited before. We were looking for a casual dinner close to our hotel and decided to try this one. We had some French dishes that were quite tasty, well cooked, and beautifully presented. The wine our waiter recommended was excellent. Will definitely be visiting one of the chain restaurants again.
