Côte Brasserie - Glasgow
Couldn't have wished for a better option for our spontaneous Valentine meal! Thanks for accommodating us. Chateaubriand was brilliant.
We went there for Valentine’s and had a fantastic time. The place is exquisitely decorated and the service was very attentive. Our waiter, Gori, did a great job at recommending some of the best dishes and wine from the place, and made us feel very welcome. Graciela was also very friendly and took great care of us. Would definitely recommend!
Great flavours and a wonderful waitress (Graciella)
A last minute booking but a brilliant find. Outstanding service from beginning to end. Funny and attentive waitress, speedy service and topped off with a free bottle of wine!
Food was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. Will definitely be back!
Delicious French cuisine with a modern twist.
I'd never tried the Côte chain before & have to say I was pleasantly surprised.
Initial impressions were not great, it was very busy & we had to wait at a very small & crowded door area - but it was peak time on a Saturday night and we didn't have to wait very long. The atmosphere was busy but not too loud, service was decent given the time & how busy it was.
We were seated reasonably quickly and & I was impressed by the options available on a Saturday evening as most Glasgow eateries only offer full price a la carte on a Saturday night. We decided to skip starters as we were going to a gig and opted to try their Chateaubriand steak, £40 for 2 people including fries, sauce & salad. It was cooked to perfection and a fantastic cut. I've paid £70+ for a similar steak in Glasgow and the quality was equal to those more expensive places.
We enjoyed a decent bottle of wine & a small cheese board to finish. Overall I'm glad we gave it a go & I'll definitely be back next time we're looking for a similar meal in the area as the quality & value is hard to beat.
Our Open Table booking hadn’t gone through but we were accommodated anyway, despite the restaurant being very busy We enjoyed a really excellent cassoulet as a seasonal special! Apparently the ingredients are sourced from Paris.
Great value overall.
Very good value prestige pre theatre menu although one of the rib eye steaks was much smaller than the other and much thinner on one side so was a bit burnt. Overall very nice and we would go back. Prompt and attentive service despite a busy night
A regular haunt. Always have a great experience.
Staff were welcoming. Although I arrived early and wanted to change my booking from one person to two, there was absolutely no problem and I was quickly seated.
Both lunch menus offered had good choices. Food was fine , service attentive and ambience lively but not overpowering.
First visit but not my last.
