French
The inspiration for the fuss-free French food and the stylish interior comes from the traditional bistros of Paris. The emphasis is on simplicity, reasonably priced dishes and the menu includes familiar Gallic favourites like moules marinières, steak frites with skinny frites, duck confit and the Côte dessert speciality, crème caramel. Côte is ideal for a quick business lunch, mid-week dinners with friends, and pre-theatre meals. We guarantee you’ll come back time after time.

Excellent food and good COVID-19 safety. Staff all were very friendly. My favourite restaurant.

Quality of the food and the service were very good and cannot really be faulted, however the menu/food options were extraordinarily depleted. We were eating out only a few days before the COVID-19 lockdown was enforced, so I understand that this has serious implications on the ordering of stock, etc and unfortunately in the midst of a global pandemic some circumstances are enforced upon us. However had I known how reduced the menu was going to be before arriving I would have likely cancelled the booking and gone elsewhere- there were so many different dishes unavailable that the choice was somewhat limited from what otherwise looked like an excellent menu.

The quality of food that we did have was excellent, however, it just wasn't our first second, third or maybe even fourth choice. Even the first wine of choice was not available. I am sure that in "normal" circumstances this wouldn't be a problem. Service was very good and staff did apologise regarding the menu.

My only other comment is that the open nature of the layout, meant that the noise level was quite high as it was quite busy (full).

Given the above I would still recommend and consider a return visit.

Excellent food, quiet but good atmosphere (eating at 5pm) and good service. Nice to have a complimentary cocktail, even if it was spilled slightly over my jacket :-(. Elected to order cheese to take away to have at home - very easy process and no extra costs. Good, friendly place with good service...consistently over a few years now. There was no fixed price menu available, which is unusual, guess we have Covid to thank for that.

Have also used Cote at Home service - excellent!

Great service, friendly staff, yummy food. Thank you :)

We had some sourdough baguette with butter and Burgundian sausage to share. Both were very tasty. I had the calamari for starter, this was very tasty also (I think it was much better than I expected from the photo). I had the poulet grillé (I’ve had this before) - the sauce is delicious. If I’d have had room for desert I would have had the dark chocolate mouse (I’ve had this before and it’s delicious).

The restaurant is lovely and spacious, we visited Lyon earlier this year and it felt very similar to the brassieres we visited there. Everything was very clean and the customers were well spaced.

Great food. Great value. Need to employ more staff. 10 minutes from being seated to get a drink. Further 10 minute waiting for card machine to pay the bill. 20 minutes of my life I will never get back. Lady who served me was nice and polite nothing against her at all.

Surprisingly good food with great and attentive service. We loved it. We dined on a Monday so the restaurant was quiet but this did not detract from the experience much.
