Casual
The inspiration for the fuss-free French food and the stylish interior comes from the traditional bistros of Paris. The emphasis is on simply, reasonably priced dishes and the menu includes familiar Gallic favourites like moules marinières, steak frites with skinny frites, duck confit and the Côte dessert speciality, crème caramel. Côte is ideal for a quick business lunch, mid-week dinners with friends, and pre-theatre meals. We guarantee you’ll come back time after time.

Some major items of the main menu were not available, seems they ran out, but the filet and related dishes were out, which is unusual

The Open Table booking did not work so, when we arrived, there was no booking. The manager at Cote was very good, however, and managed to find us a table despite the restaurant being busy. The service was excellent and the food very good indeed. Overall, a very pleasant dinner.

We get consistently good food at Cote in Oxford. There are a good variety of choices, from the good value set menus to a wide a la carte choice. Manager was very good at checking my wife's food allergy. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was served promptly, even though the restaurant was full. Very enjoyable.
