Cotoletta Fitler Square
To us, the kitchen is a place to prepare meals made with love so it can be savored while enjoying the comaraderie around the table.

Even during the midst of the Coronavirus Crisis, we decided to check out this neighborhood gem. We started with cocktails and decided to go with the appetizer specials. We had crab stuff mushroom caps and scallops with polenta cakes and both were outstanding! For entrees, we selected the chicken marsala and the veal parmesan and WOW! They were both amazing. The flavors were spectacular and was exactly what we were hoping to find. Our server, Elena, was the absolute best. She chatted with us and gave us the best recommendations. We ended the night with some limoncello and a slice of lemon pound cake and we were NOT disappointed! I cannot wait to go back!
Great vibe and delicious food!
Just one of our favorite spots in the city--service was top notch as was the food. We love the bartenders as well--great to talk with and they always share some good stories--keep up the great work.
Food was delicious! Love Cotoletta from its days in Belmont Hills. Beautiful new location. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner.
It was busy and our server had seem to forget about us. It took about 10 minutes from sitting down to have anyone speak to us. After getting our food, we were not checked on or offered another beverage. The server was nice but we felt neglected. The food was good but nothing to write home about. It’s a cute little restaurant but will not come back for dinner.
This restaurant has great food, great service and the best customer service . Friendly and welcoming, it’s truly a feel good restaurant with fabulous food!
I don’t enjoy writing reviews to criticize a small business but, in this case, i am writing a review to encourage the owners of this establishment to look at their recipes, staffing, and procedures to try to improve and succeed in a city ripe with amazing restaurants. My experience here was sub par, service was off, kitchen was behind , but, I can forgive most of that being that it was a Friday evening. However, after waiting over 1 hour for our entrees to arrive, we were very disappointed. The marinara sauce ( the essential part of an Italian restaurant) was watery and tasteless. It gave no backbone to the pasta and cutlets it arrived with. The pasta was overcooked and breaking apart while some parts were stuck together. The branzino special was similarly browned and tasteless not light and flaky as it is supposed to be.
I was very disappointed considering the reviews given on this site as well as the positive ratings. However, when you leave a restaurant feeling like you’ve just wasted your hard earned money—then, something is wrong.
If nothing else, I would implore this restaurant to get its sauce right. As that is the true giveaway on the authenticity of a real Italian restaurant. I hope that this restaurant is able to survive in a city with so many amazing authentic Italian restaurant options.
Kyle, bartender and our server, was amazing. Good absolutely delicious. We love this place and will certainly be back ASAP!
Cotoletta was a great dining experience. Delicious food at a good price. Well designed area with some string lighting provided a perfect dinner ambiance.
On a busy Valentine's evening the food was prepared with love, the wait staff was professional and yet personable and the dining experience one that I hope to experience here in the future
The stacked cutlets were delicious. My scallops and pasta could have used more flavor.
Went in for Valentine’s Day with my husband and friends. We had a wonderful dinner and great service.
Always great experience, friendly staff and great food.
Love this place! The cheese-wheel pasta is a must-have, and their signature cutlets are phenomenal. Two thumbs up!
Food and service was outstanding
Great place. Good service and great food!
Great service and food was very good! Ambience was just average.
Went to this restaurant based on recommendations from friends. Lovely neighborhood, great staff and the stuffed French toast is something that I will be dreaming about for a long time.
Delicious food in an adorable setting. It was a little cramped up front on a Saturday night, but we had lots of space in the back part of the restaurant. The chicken marsala and cacio e pepe were absolutely worth writing home about. Add a carafe of wine and you’re set! Great service and ambiance.
Nothing special about our two dishes of Veal Marsala or spaghetti and clams.
Friendly staff and the owner Beth is so welcoming! Food is great I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
Loved it - becoming one of our favorite places!
We were excited that we found a restaurant in our neighborhood that we have not been to yet, but we were quite disappointed by the food.
We made reservations for four of us on New Year's Eve. The place was crowded and every table was full. The restaurant has a cute ambience and has a very comfortable feel, I did not feel like we were crowded by our neighbors.
Our table was ready right away, but the service was a bit slow. We ordered some cocktails from their specialty cocktail menu and all of them were fantastic! The cocktails were definitely the highlight of our meal.
We started off with a few appetizers - The meatball with ricotta and the special warm octopus salad. The meatballs were on the dry side and nothing special. However, the warm octopus salad was the best food item we ate here! The octopus was cooked perfectly tender and it came on a bed of deliciously blistered and well spiced tomatoes.
For entrées, we got the chicken Parm, the veal piccata, the eggplant Parmesan, and the veal Milanese. We were all a bit disappointed with our entrées (although the portions were nicely sized). The spaghetti that came under the veal piccata was cold - the only part of the spaghetti that was hot was the portion that was sitting right underneath the veal. You could tell it was sitting out cold and they had just threw it on the plate. The spaghetti was also overcooked. The pasta and red sauce that came with the eggplant Parmesan and the chicken Parmesan tasted like raw garlic. I love me some garlic, but this was pretty much eating raw garlic. It didn't taste like it has been cooked at all.
Although we did not really enjoy the food, we did have a nice night- Our server was very nice and friendly and the bartenders also made us Espresso martinis which were not on the menu.
Great food and service. Can’t wait to go back!
Food was delicious service was great
Great addition to the neighborhood. Best chicken cutlets ever, and my in-laws are Italian! First time, for brunch, we were charmed by the food and conversation with the owner. Second time, for dinner, we were equally pleased with the food and our attentive and personable server. An attractive and comfortable place that will definitely keep us coming back.
My mom came to town for the holidays. I hadn’t been to Cotoletta yet and I figured we could try it together. Dave, our server, took great care of us. The food was fantastic! We will definitely be back!
The music was too loud. The bread was frozen on the inside. The plates themselves were cold and not warmed. I would still give it another try.
We were disappointed to have a second location of a suburban restaurant move into this prime site. Honestly, does Philadelphia really need another mediocre Italian restaurant? Nevertheless, living nearby we decided to give it a try. There was not one thing that we drank or ate that was good or in any way enjoyable. It was not even mediocre. I actually didn't eat my meal, which was supposedly their best namesake dish. On top of that it was very overpriced. Save your money and go to Vetri.
A wonderful evening at Cotoletta. Their holiday decorations made the evening more festive. The server's recommendations were spot on and the owner stopped at our table to check in. Highly recommend COTOLETTA for a casual night out or special occasion.
We loved everything about it. Great food and great service were had. Got lucky with parking so we’re very happy.
Come support your local restaurant. You will be delighted.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was super cute and cozy we all had amazingly delicious dinners.
Had a great meal! It’s always good. Love this sexy place across the street from Fitler Square. Can’t wait to try brunch.
I have eaten here twice and it's just an adorable restaurant with a great vibe and great food. I have tried a few different dishes and everything was delicious! Will definitely be back!
Went for brunch - the service was terrible. Waited 20+ minutes just for drinks. Food took over an hour. Food itself was pretty good though. Most of the table ordered the typical brunch fare eggs and pancakes, one had a cutlet sandwich. All well prepared and flavorful, but to wait an hour for some eggs after an already significant delay on drinks won’t rush me back there soon.
Good food. Service was a little slow but the staff offered a round of drinks to compensate us for the wait. Would definitely return.
The Challah French toast w/berries melted in my mouth ! Delicious !
