Very rude waiters, average food, felt disrespected and worthless by our waiters and very rushed.
This time at coya I was really annoyed how the management treated me. One of my guests did not show up and they gave me the worst table in the restaurant. Shame on you guys will not come back
Both food and drinks are overpriced for what it is. Service is efficient but certainly far from being welcoming in my view. Place was not full at all which makes me think I am not the only one of this opinion. they will have to rethink the pricing structure if they want to survive in this location for much longer.
Fantastic atmosphere, very attentive staff, excellent choice of food. Would highly recommend!
The waiter was rude wasn’t happy with his job obviously oh and the knife
The waiter was less than friendly and not attentive.
My sister and I visited Coya for lunch time and we did their lunch time menu which is really good. you get to try nice range of food but the wine it quite expensive.
the ambiance and service was really good and the waiters were very friendly and helpful.
would definitely recommend to a friend but be prepared for a costly meal, its worth it.
Great service. Lovely atmosphere. Very bustling place. We were surprised to see so many business people out for lunch there. Lovely ceviche, prawns and tacos for starters but small portions. We were underwhelmed by the mains - £31 for a seabass main that was quite lacking in size and nothing particularly special in flavour. Ribs were okay. Tasty churros at the end. Lots to recommend about this place. We wanted a special lunch but £160 for food which included a cocktail each, a beer and one glass of wine was very expensive. Food was good but not that good in my opinion to justify that price tag.
Amazing food and staff
Excellent lovely atmosphere, great service, music and excellent tasty food in sharing style!
Excellent for celebrations.
On the expensive side, but worth it!
Amazing as always. Favourite restaurant in the UK by far.
Food and cocktails amazing. Great atmosphere
Very Good service, better than in majority of places. The place is expansive but it’s also worth it.
Visited coya as part of my Wife’s Birthday Treat, what an amazing place .. the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and attentive.... fantastic cocktails too, great atmosphere.
Way too expensive for what it is. Especially the wine list is simply ridiculous. The cheapest house wine is c£50 ex 12.5% service charge. Just about everything else is £90 or way more. Have never seen a winelist with the vast majority of wines over £150. Food was nice, but not special. Much better value can be found elsewhere.
Great evening. Food was good and atmosphere great. Lots of personal touches with the service too!
Wonderful food, wonderful staff, wonderful place! Also, a great DJ (Tony) playing Dance Music in the bar area on Friday and Saturday evening!
Food good, service let’s the restaurant down hugely
Upscale restaurant with creative Peruvian cuisine, vibrant atmosphere - you have to enter via the lounge area playing deep house music. Food is rich and ambiance is top class.
The food was unexpected and wonderful at the same time. Unexpected as we didn't realize how beautiful a lot of the dishes were going to come out of the kitchen. Wonderful as each bite made you want to have some more. Great cocktail list too.
Visiting and absolutely love it. Food very fast and service is on point.
Very average service, comparable to a lower key restaurant. Somelier was not very knowledgeable and was not very friendly. Food was good but maybe not value for money
Service was very poor. Difficult to get the waiter’s attention and a complete and continued failure to meet our requests (for drinks and food). Also kept trying to take plates and cutlery away when we hadn’t finish and had repeatedly stated that we might want to order more food.
The meal and service were excellent - One of the downsides was the nice price tag that went with it!
Even though the portion sizes were small and expensive for what we received, the quality of the produce was very good. The house wine was £15 a glass!!
The restaurant was very busy, which is fine, but the tables are very close together and if (as we experienced sitting next to a party of about 15 people all talking loadly), it does not make for a very relaxing environment. Also, the heating was getting unbearable.
I don't mind spending a good amount of money for quality produce, but I think that they may need to rethink their portion sizes and pricing.
Although I did enjoy my dinner at Coya, I did think the food was overpriced. Portions were not particularly generous so was hard to accept that the food was good value for money.
The food was flavoursome, I did not like my cocktail but that would not stop me from visiting again. I would save the next visit for a special occasion rather than everyday dining.
Expensive but more than worth it for a special occasion.
I've been to plenty of restaurants in London and this is easily in my top 3.
Nice ambiance with a DJ in the bar area where we ate at a window table on a Friday night. Excellent food but very expansive - £230 for 2 with one bottle and 2 glasses of wine (which is overpriced). Good Peruvian experience, just too expensive
The food was nice but you do pay for it. The service was over zealous, wouldn’t rush back
Excellent flavours in all dishes we tasted. Brilliant vibe and atmosphere.
Went to Coya for the first time for a business lunch. Had the express menu which gives a selection of sharing plates to start and a good choice of mains. Really enjoyed the fresh flavours of the cooking. The ceviches were excellent and the sea bass main was particularly good.
Nice restaurant with good at and very vibrant but too pricey for food portions.
Good night at Coya, food was delicious and service great.
Food was EXCELLENT! Everything we ordered was well cooked. All flavours were on point and contrasts in textures just made it a delightful meal. The drinks were also delicious and balanced. We went on a Saturday night so staff were busy, leading to a slow service. Would have rated it a 5-star experience otherwise.
Seated 1 hour after our booking, forced to go to the bar and taken to table twice after the table we booked for was given away to someone else. We sat down, no acknowledgement from any waiter. Waiter comes after 15minutes and says “you want to order?”. I give a full order including drinks. Confirm allergies where I stated that both of us were allergic to shellfish and his response was to bring the prawn crackers on the side instead with the guacamole?? I believe an allergy should be treated more seriously. It’s not a preference! I ask for a wine list twice. Starters even come before water on the table! At this point the experience is already sour and service is dull. No smiles, no food checkback. Food is average, nothing spectacular. Sides were forgotten; until we reminded the waiter about it. Very sour experience overall and one which I won’t repeat.
Having seen this restaurant on BBC’s Masterchef I had high expectations. I was disappointed as the waiter serving our food was either not listening or being attentive or just couldn’t be bothered. For starters we ordered 3 small plates, two of them came and we waited 10 mins, before having to ask the waiter where the other one was. The waiter appeared with it another 10 mins later, having I believe, forgotten to place the order in the first place. We order our mains..whilst waiting a dish we hadn’t ordered was brought to us! When we eventuality got the correct mains, my partners came out without mine.. again having waited 15 mins for my main to come out I had to ask two different waiters where my main was. My main eventually came out 25 mins after my partners! The noise level was very loud and it was difficult to have a conversation. The staff however were lovely and very welcoming and accommodating but the overall taste of the food was nothing to write home about. Very disappointed. I will give it another try because I want to believe that it can be better ...but not the Angel Court branch, the Mayfair branch.
Great experience! Will definitely repeat! Very good service and food was very very tasty! Quality of fish outstanding!
The service could have been better - but the food was amazing!
Food was great, service was outstanding. I was a bit chilly and our server brought me a pashmina completely unprompted. I have some dietary problems and the options were really good
