Service changed to the worse..
It was AMAZING
Very Flavoursome food. I have been there a few times and it never disappoints. Ive had taster menu and a la carte and both equally good. Would go back again.
Exceptional food imaginatively presented with outstanding service levels
Great kitchen, very friendly service. Definitely recommended for those who is seeking for something interesting and unusual.
All was great expect both of us were sick during the night because of the food...
Amazing food and drinks. Great atmosphere with live music. Very attentive staff
Excellent food and service in a very relaxed atmosphere. Was relatively quiet which is what I like. Very good service both downstairs in the bar prior, as well as upstairs in the restaurant. Was "upgraded" to the members section upstairs which is what I am basing my feedback on.
We were kindly put upstairs in the private members club where they had a live Latin band. The singer was amazing. All the food was really tasty, the staff were really kind and attentive. The ambience up there was really special with a really warm feeling. The outdoor terrace was also really beautiful. I will 100% be back very soon. It truly was the perfect girls evening.
Thank you Coya
Coya is a slightly confused venue that charges a premium largely based on its Mayfair location. It claims to be Peruvian/ Japanese / Chinese fusion food yet sets itself more Planet Hollywood with graffiti style paintings of Darth Vader and Storm Troopers. The food was mostly ok - but not outstanding - lacking either subtlety or real punch... The ceviche with truffle and the Pulpo were good, however the Sets, whilst tasty, comprised of 4 small pieces of mushroom on 2 skewers - not quite tapas for sharing as stated on the menu! Overall it felt - average at a premium rate...
Love the place ! The food is great and the service as well. You need to try it for dinner, for the ambiance !
Birthday evening with dinner. The food was great
We did not expect a live band, it was too loud.
I took my fiance for his birthday on Sunday evening. The ambience was nice, the service was great but I was a little disappointed by the lack of allergen forewarning on the dishes we ordered.
Upon ordering I was asked if I had any allergies and I mentioned that I had a shellfish allergy. We ordered quite a few dishes to start with and I was not warned that the dishes would have traces of shellfish in them (eg the oil it was fried in). It was only when the dishes were delivered that the waiter said that I could not have them. We ordered x4 starters of which only x1 dish I could consume. I did not want to make a fuss as it was my fiances' birthday so I did not complain. However, whenever I visit restaurants of this calibre (Roka and Nobu), I am always warned at the point of ordering of the potential risks not at the end. No alternatives were offered either.
Otherwise, the standard of the dishes I did try were lovely. The cocktails were amazing - more importantly, my fiance, a cocktail aficionado, was very impressed by the mixes!
Excellent dining ambience and decor. Staff also excellent, attentive friendly and well groomed. Only quibble was very expensive for slightly larger party. Perhaps smaller set menu for early diners an option?
Cena veramente buona in una cornice stupenda.
Personale molto preparato.
Rapporto qualità/prezzo giusto.
Non vedo l’ora di tornare!
Really interesting menu at COYA and the wood fired grill gives the food a great flavour, especially the steaks. Ceviche was excellent- especially the truffle base ones. The service was a little off the mark initially but they guys soon sorted that out and it was really nice to chat to the sommelier and staff who were very knowledgable about their wines and food. There was a bit of a party atmosphere the night we dined - which really added to the enjoyment - the live house music was a real treat and kept us in the bar for after dinner cocktails!
Lovely experience, really good service and food was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place
They gave us a table in the member club in the ground floor which was perfect. Not so loud, and the club is very cool furnished. Food was excellent as always, the place very nice, and the service very good. Coya is definitely one of my favorites in London
Good food. Excellent service. Very lively. Very welcoming.
Highly recommend the wagyu beef
Unbelievable dinner in every way! We will go back!
Atmosphere is beutifull, food is tasty, Margaritas are amazing. DJ gives big value aditionnaly
Nice atmosphere, nice food and not that expensive as I thought. I would recommend it to big groups so you can try a lot of menu options.
Fabulous greeting on arrival, wonderful decor and fantastic ambience. There was a DJ playing some great music. The food was off the hook. Very well prepared, fresh food.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was fantastic BUT the noise from the band was awful - could not have a conversation and I was out with friends I had not seen for ages - very disappointing.
Tasting menu was fantastic, varied and exciting dishes. Great service throughout. Price wise, at the upper end of what you can expect to pay in London (especially the wine list) but well worth the outlay in my opinion. It is fairly crowded and loud which may not be to all tastes. Will certainly be returning, one of the best food experiences I have ever had.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious no matter what we ordered. I highly recomend it and will definitely be visiting again to try out more of the menu.
Wine pouring aggressive and the music too loud - particularly for 2 girls trying to catch up on a Tuesday night. I felt they put us at one of the worst tables - somewhat disrespectful given that I am a regular customer.
I have taken my mum to COYA to celebrate Mother's Day, the lunch set menu was very good value, the starters were extremely tasty and we would certainly go back again.
An absolutely amazing place! Not cheap, but everything was perfect - it is worth every penny
Best restaurant and food in London
Great food and good service
We went to Coya for my wife’ birthday and had great time. The food was amazing, great service and would definitely go back again.
A gorgeous venue, but really overpriced.
felt the ambience of the venue became a little tacky as the night progressed. Food and wine was excellent. I’d perhaps opt to go in the day.
Absolutely quality night.
Great food (plenty of it), decent music and staff were excellent.
See you again soon
The food was absolutely outstanding. We had the tasting menu, which was great to try the different specialities. The service is nice, and some of the staff are super friendly, but it is quite mechanic and regimented. The drinks are overpriced, particularly the wine, which is more expensive than in Michelin star restaurants - this is a shame as it makes everything feel slightly overpriced. Unfortunately, it was my partner's birthday and even though this was communicated when making the booking, for the first time ever in a restaurant in London, this was completely neglected.
All great but rushed, again. The whole thing was over in less than an hour. The waiter ignored our request for time.
