Entertainment
Celebrating the spirit of Latin America, the music and cultural program at COYA will oscillate between the old and the new, taking in a lateral view of Latin culture through a London lens. Whether it is street art or classic photography, the greatest musicians of times gone by or the quirkiest collaborations between British musicians and contemporary Latin bands, the COYA Collective will be neither predictable nor one dimensional.

Quality of ingredients was high, but lacked flavour versus its high end peers.

First and last time at Coya London. Dubai Coya is amazing. We arrived half an hour earlier so we could have a cocktail at the bar but we were 'urged' to go to our table sooner. Our starter and main came together and that was within 5 minutes of ordering it. So certainly not fresh and plates were being taken away even though we still had food on them! We were in and out with 45 minutes. Spend your money in restaurants that do better!

This wasn't my first visit to Coya. So I was hugely disappointed after my recent visit. Food was still good but it was served at warp speed. No one even checked if we finished our starters... So while we were still having our apero they arrived with the mains...in less than 1 hour we were done. Not very pleasant when you spend 200GBP on a meal. We were given a table cramped between two walls and another table in the back. Hostesses at coat check looked as they had been eaten lemons...no goodbye when we left the front door... What happened to this place?? Thisbusd to be warm and welcoming. Now we left with a very bitter feeling. In a nutshell; feels like an expensive Wahaca experience, but with unfriendly staff....

Very nosy, tables squashed together, the staff don’t leave you alone, all on a mession to feed you and get you out in time for the next lot. The food is very tasty but it’s a typical place of London where you want to be seen, not to enjoy a fine evening out. I will NOT go again

The food was great, very tasty, lovely ambience and decor, they wished my husband happy birthday and decorated his dessert appropriately, which was also fantastic. However I think the last booking for the afternoon should be 215pm as the kitchen closes at 230pm and this was our booking time. The waitress pushed us to order within minutes which totally spoilt the first half hour of our celebration, very poor, felt rushed, the wine list was expensive for this restaurant, I ordered 3rd from the bottom 2 glasses of Rioja, 175ml. £25 each. I did like the restaurant but the last 2 mentioned spoilt the experience.

Disappointing experience. We took friends visiting from abroad. Mediocre food and drinks. Left just after spending an hour in the restaurant.

Great food! We visited on a Saturday night and it is basically also a lounge bar / club type of place with a separate dining area so this was a surprise and the noise level was high. It was unexpected as we were not up for partying after an early flight but everything was excellent food- and service wise so recommended.

We had booked the table in advance and were looking forward to having a meal here. One of my friends Ana is Peruvian and had been on about coming for months. We had cocktails at the bar and initially enjoyed the atmosphere whilst waiting for our table.
After 40 minutes we were taken upstairs away from the Busy main restaurant to a smaller room with no atmosphere. We were told there was live music up there (which was not during the time we were there). We were shown to a table by the toilets where I had to squeeze next to a pillar to get in my seat.
We were effectively shut off from the whole atmosphere of the restaurant and the service was very disappointing. We ordered many dishes to share along with rice. Once we had finished our meal, they cleared it all away and then brought out the rice! On its own with no explanations as to why and they kept it on the bill too. No offer to take it away, the waiter just put it on the table in front of us snd then asked if we wanted dessert
After we paid the £200 bill for our shared side plates and drinks we headed downstairs to see what was going on and to get another drink only to find the restaurant was buzzing and lively. We chatted to a few people who hadn't even made a reservation as early as we did snd were given a table in the main restaurant.
Really let down by our experience

Back to COYA for the good food and energy. Mixed bag on service though - excellent from Remy at the bar and the table server, but from disinterested to rude from others which would have spoilt another night - fortunately we were in too much of a good mood. Message: just because a place has a good vibe and interesting clientele doesn’t give staff the right to self-importance. Come on guys and girls, you’re all there to make sure the guests have a great time - remember?

- service was very poor , we didn’t revive any drinks we ordered until the meal was almost finished not even water , even though we asked a handful of times .

- music was house type music which was just to to load to sit opposite someone and speak so not great for meetings etc .

- I enjoy high end restaurants and I think for the same price you can go places like park chinois for a much better atmosphere.

I wouldn’t go again .

Coya is a very classy introduction to Peruvian food and hospitality. An absolute gem of a find with a menu fit for even the most conscientious dieter, and an impressive choice of wines and rare cocktails. We’ll definitely book again.
