Fabulous food, great decor, tad pricey...
Amazing place, great ambience, food and cocktails. Definitely will be coming back here again !!
The waitress kept coming to our table and making us rushing us and making us stressed about 2 hours reservation!
It was my birthday and I wanted a peaceful night, but instead she totally disrespected us. It’s a nightmare!!! No matter how we liked the ambiance, I don’t think I will go there again 👎
Amazing evening. Tasting menu divine. Great atmosphere. Fabulous cocktails.
Ambiance is lovely, staff were very helpful but the food wasn't what I expected. I've been to a range of high-end eateries and this was one of my highest bills I've had, but wasn't worth the price tag. It's presented nicely, but in terms of flavour and portion size, I unfortunately don't even remember the meal itself. I wasn't full by the end of the meal despite having starters, mains and dessert. I wanted to be excited for our meal, my partner and I are food lovers, but it didn't do it for me.
COYA likely has a fab marketing team and it's become a 'go to' place. Kuddos to them for it. Save your cash and go elsewhere
Well, everything was kinda okay but not the place you want to celebrate your special occasion and create some good memories. The food quality is not up to the price range that venu asks for and when we arrived they said us to wait for a hostess outside (late in the evening when temperature drops to less than 10°) even though you could see that I was dressed very light and as a result I caught a flu.
Service stuff should be more professional and honest rather than just assuming and adding the items to the bill without acknowledging the guest. But gentlemen that were bringing our food orders were very knowledgeable and professional about the rest can't add anything.
Couldn’t of been better or felt safer xx
Everything was perfect, service and food was top notch. Even ordered more starters after our mains because of how nice it was. And was so happy that they gave us the churros dessert as a birthday surprise for my boyfriend. Was a nice touch to end a great dining experience. Will definitely go back
Food and service amazing.
We are definitely coming back.
Amazing service and atmosphere. Will be back for sure
Lovely food and nice staff. The cocktails where amazing and good value for money, the decor is really nice as well I’ll be back very soon!
Exception service and safety. The cocktails and food amazing as always. Brilliant measures to protect staff and customers eg temperature check at reception.
Excellent food and service. We really enjoyed the live music band as it created a nice atmosphere, highly recommend as a nice birthday/ celebration treat.
It was our first time back since lockdown and it was great to be back for the amazing food, attentive service and lively atmosphere.
The food was really good, excellent and quick service. Highly recommended
Great food and service is fab. Like the bar deco.
Amazing place and fantastic food. The staff are very friendly. Definitely worth going!
Me nd my whole family didnt like the food. Prices are too high and food was totally tasteless.I wouldnt recommend this rest to anyone else
Amazing!best evening and loved food so much can’t wait to go back
Simply amazing. We sat on the upper floor level which features only a few tables and the ambiance was great (if you want some privacy and romantic setting). Food was fantastic, we let our waiter Diego recommend a few dishes and he did a brilliant job in looking after us. Thanks again!
Excellent customer service I loved the decor and attention to detail regarding the food and wine options. We will be definitely returning soon.
Fabulous experience overall!
I thought Coya overall was visually nice, However it did get a little dark at times in terms of ambience. We was late for our reservation which I understand, we ensured to keep restaurant in well informed as we was in traffic from Croydon. However I didn’t like how staff and waiters were continuously rushing us to order and eat our food. Once or twice is enough to mention to us but we got rushed throughout the evening. Felt sick after having to rush my food. My steak was far to red and bloody for “medium rare” so didn’t enjoy the main meal.
Excellent service and delicious food
Amazing dinner! Was surprised they did not even give a complimentary drink to dessert as we were celebrating my husbands birthday, which they were very much aware of.
I normally love Coya, but didn’t have the best experience this time, as the food was rather tasteless and the server kept removing our food even tough we mentioned we weren’t done. Cocktails was good.
Great food but service needs improving. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately told that we needed to leave our table by 9pm, there was no way of extending this, and that we couldn’t reserve anywhere in the bar afterwards etc. The service then felt very rushed - you could really tell they were trying to turn tables as quickly as possible. I was there for a birthday - I felt they could have made more of an effort here too. Overall, I felt like the experience was not good, especially for the price.
Great all round experience. Menu was really well explained by an attentive and approchable waitress. Food was sublime and offers great value. The restaurant had a nice ambience; music was soothing and not too loud. Strongly recommend.
Amazing service, food, ambience and safety measures!
Great food and service. Recommendations from our waiter were amazing!
Great experience- portions are small but food tasted great, service was also great.
Excellent for pescetarians, a lovely range of ceviche and other fish dishes. All delicious in Peruvian lime or Japanese sauces - nothing totally exotic though, most dishes are salmon, tuna, sea-bass or prawn. We recommend the mushroom skewers, and the guacamole was the freshest I've ever had, with a nice kick from the fresh chilli. Most dishes are sharing plates, with either 2 or 3 pieces to share - so ideal for a party of 3.
Amazing decor, this has to be one of the most beautiful and atmospheric restaurants in London. If you're a member of the private member's club (which has the same menu I'd guess) you get to eat on the ground floor overlooking Piccadilly and Green Park, for everyone else the restaurant is underground but they have created the space amazingly well, with subtle lighting and dark-hued tones. The bar where you walk in is absolutely stunning.
Charming staff. Some COVID precautions (staff all wear masks in Peruvian fabrics, hand sanitiser on offer, temperature check on arrival, tables fairly well distanced although there probably will be people sitting at the tables next to you). We went on a Tuesday night in July 2020 and the place was three quarters full with a happy buzz, many well-dressed but casual groups of 2, 3 or 4 enjoying themselves, no suits.
If you want to experience the venue without eating, the bar area looks stunning and was literally empty throughout our visit (so less COVID risk).
It is pricy, and the bill has a way of adding up to a lot more than you'd expect. Staff will smoothly suggest you might like another margarita... we were never shown an actual drinks menu and didn't realise till the end that the standard margaritas are £17 each, which is a lot even for Mayfair. Expect to spend around £75 per head even if you have only one drink each, and it would be easy to spend more.
Assuming you're happy with the cost, highly recommended - a relaxed but stylish evening out.
Felt slightly rushed, due to not being aware of a timelimit on the booking which left us having a negative experience towards the end of the meal, being told we only had 15mins left to have dessert or leave quite abruptly. This was a time when the live music started and we were enjoying some cocktails, we would have spent more money at the bar but wasn't given the choice.
A wider vegatable and extras selection - I presume it is due to the current climate that the menu is used through the phone, which wasn't the most user friendly.
Amazing food. Spendy obvs but really delicious.
Amazing atmosphere and food!
Food was very good and staff were friendly. Only complaint would be was that we felt they were trying to rush us through as fast as they could. So a lot of the food arrived together and we were made to feel very rushed.
Everything was great and the lubina was simply amazing!
Went as a group of three for a birthday meal. Food and drinks were tasty
