The Food was excellent and the desert was delicious and the prices were good for this type of restaurant.
I already recommended this restaurant to my family and I told them it’s a must in London.

Anniversary meal, we were hoping for a special evening where we could enjoy ourselves.

But we were disappointed to find out that we couldn’t order the dessert we wanted because we were nearing the 2 hour allocation and the dessert we wanted would take too long so we had to order something else we didn’t want. Overall the food was tasty (loved the tuna sashimi and sea bream ceviche) although I basically had to perform a surgical procedure in order to find evidence of any meat on my pork ribs. For £20 this was pretty underwhelming.

To sum up, it’s a nice atmosphere with tasty but pricey food, but essentially the management just want you in and out and there is no real care to help you have a memorable experience.

Great food and service let down by a rip off drinks menu. The wine list has 2-3 options under £100. The rest of the selection ranges in price between £100 - £4750 for a bottle! With the average price being around £350. Wine by the glass is around £17.00 - £20.00 - shocking!

We went for a £65 bottle of red, which in most restaurants will get you something decent. It wasn’t good. We googled the wine and it retails for £9.50 in Waitrose. This pretty much ruined the vibe for is as we were celebrating a birthday so wanted some nice drinks. We had lots of food, again a little pricey but it is superb so we don’t mind paying for it as it was a special occasion.

For this reason I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant. I didn’t like the clientele and eating to a dj playing a pumping house set isn’t for me.

Service was great! I wouldn't say food was fantastic (I had mostly chicken dishes) but my husband had a few of the seafood dishes and said it was very good! :)

Lamb choops were £28 (3 pieces) - which I wouldn't say was really worth it and generally portions were bad with very high prices.

The food was excellent, but the pushy host almost ruined it. Based on 12 co-worker recommendations I would have expected better treatment.

Brilliant brilliant brilliant
For the new goers this is my recommendation
Starters: guacamole - only order prawn crackers, fried squid, tuna ceviche, seabass croquettes, grilled prawn skewers. In Dubai or Abudhabi also order burrata and octopus.
Main: sea bream, salmon and seabass iron pot - mixed with rice.
Dessert: corn sundae

Food was good. But service not so much.
Restaurant was not full at 1:30 pm. Maybe 15 people... and we sort of felt left alone. Forgot our drinks.. so we had to stay with water. Coya Abu Dhabi much much better !!!

One criticism, they do not pay attention to your “special requests”. I asked for a cold bottle of water to be at the table for when we arrived... there was no bottle of water, so we had to order and wait. It was a test to see if they did... they failed. Other than that, good service, very nice food, not bad prices. Would go again.

Food was great and service was fast but there was way too much pressure from the staff. At least 4 different waiters would interrupt our dinner every 5 minutes making it very hard for us to have a conversation. You could tell they were in so much hurry to keep our dinner within the 2h window that we finished in 1h15min

Pros:
Food was good and the staff were friendly.
Exhaustive wine list.

Cons:
No parking - valet parking is £20
Ambiance was chaotic and uber noisy. We could barely hear ourselves think!
Although wine list was exhaustive, it was quite expensive
As usual couples are given the worst seats (why do even high end restaurants do this? Why are couples on a romantic date given tables that are in a row and so close to each other that any romance is out even before the starters arrive?)
We were rushed and at the end although I had my card in my hand and the bill in front of me, the maitre de came to me and said they needed the table!!
Overall felt like a fast food restaurant with good food and £££ prices.

Would not go back again - unless it was a business lunch or dinner so we could all be noisy.

We visited Coya with high expectations after being recommended. Our overall impression of the restaurant was that it is way overpriced for what is a pretty average establishment. The staff were very nice but the overall dining experience was average. My wife has a chilli alergy so she was told that although we were having the fixed price lunch menu she could substitute for whatever she wanted and was given a couple of non chilli options. When the bill came we were charged full price and when we queried it the lady denied what she said despite us both clearly hearing her what she said. Also the lunch menu came with Coffee and petit fours however it was clear we were not going to be offered it so I asked and it came but when the bill arrived we were charged £5 which had to be removed. Overall way overpriced for a very average resaurant, more Michellin Tyre than Michellin Star.

The test of a good restaurant is whether I would want to revisit. Absolutely not! The dj must be deaf! Unbearably loud.
The food is good but very pricey. You are not given time in between courses. The dishes were cleared as soon as you finished with the next course appearing in record time!
The whole ambience is of a feeling that their no 1 priority is to get you out asap. Oh and we had to wait 45 minutes for our table.

The service was not so good. We waited very long for the dishes, and after receiving them there were some mistakes. We were served wrong dishes again later on. No compensation was offered by the staff. Very expensive, which is ok, because the food is unique and good, but would expect exquisite service when charging so much, or at least some kind of recognition when mistakes happen (the staff were aware as they did apologize for all the mistakes, but didn’t do anything about it essentially)

Such a great venue. Great bar great ambience and to be fair service is excellent but in booking a table at 2.30 on a Sunday having ordered drinks at the table then to be told kitchen closes in 15/20 minutes meaning need to hurry up a touch just takes away that relaxing atmosphere and a rushed feel to it was added. Never the less a superb place

The venue is beautiful and I love the upbeat music on the background.
Food was amazing! Ceviche very fresh and yummy. Loved the salmon. Lamb chops were ok. I’ve seen ribeye on the next table, looked amazing. For desert had something salted caramel chocolate, fantastic! Service was very attentive and friendly. Until the last minutes. My friend was asked by 3 people to hurry up to pay the bill and leave whilst I was in WC, apparently we were over 2hrs time slot. Could have been a tad nicer about this, hence 4 stars for service. We had such a great time until the last minutes, what a shame. Otherwise, top marks!
