Amazing brunch being our first outing for my birthday. Could you please tell the waiter looking after us he was amazing, we were sitting at table 12 on the 12/07/1993 at 11.15am! I can’t remember his name but he was lovely and made it more enjoyable! Food was great x
Easy friendly and fast service, good food, cocktails are amazing, drinks are a bit pricey. Not the most scene of of areas to be sat, could be made prettier perhaps
5 menus to choose from which was good. Area set up is attractive and socially distant but still feels as though you're in a beer garden. The menu from Haloumi was very good, lots of options, small plate style.
Only drawback was that it was really windy and therefore a bit chilly, however it is Scotland in summer.
Definitely worth a try and a nice addition to the Finnieston area where outdoor seating is at a minimum.
loved it, could do with some music however i know there is a rule with that right now
Great food and quick service - would highly recommend
Staff were very friendly, food was fantastic, would definitely recommend!
Lovely setting and really delicious food and drink. Excellent, fast service.
Overall great experience, tables were well spaced out so did not feel at risk. Was surprised to see staff not wearing masks, would feel more comfortable if they were. Drinks were quite expensive. If the sun isnt out it is quite cold, a couple of heaters would have been good. That being said I would still recommend it.
Absolutely delicious tapas from the Rioja menu. The octopus was cooked to perfection and the breaded calamari some of the best I have ever eaten!
Enjoyed our time, however, some background music would be nice. £5.85 for one Peroni is a bit steep. The setting, service, cleanliness etc all very good. Enjoyed the food but didn't love it.
Its the staff that make this place....certainly not the food! 2 breakfasts at £20 arrived freezing! Asked for them to be changed only for the second attempt to be even colder! Bit of a joke in all honesty. Helpful staff arranged for the food to removed from the bill, but our experience has been left soured. Cant say that i’d return sadly.
Was great day out wee bit of normality good to have a pint in the sunshine food was good too defo be back
The place looks lovely but overall not a great experience. We got a taxi there and were there for 8.55pm for a 9pm reservation. We were not seated until closer to 9.10.
We wanted to order food and asked a member of staff if the bruschetta was vegan - she said “I don’t know”, walked off and never came back. We asked another member of staff and she was more helpful and asked the chef. It was vegan (it was also soggy and pretty tasteless).
We had one round of drinks and went to order more on the app at 9.30pm and the bar was closed (nobody informed us of that at any point). Absolute waste of time getting a taxi there and back for 20 minutes of bar service. Overpriced drink, tasteless food and the staff seem largely interested. We were in another pop up bar/ beer garden at a well known music venue nearby on Thursday and it was ten times better. Don’t waste your time with this one!
It's a lovely venue and well served by gorgeous choice of restaurants, there will be something for everyone's tastes. Lacking a bit of ambience without music but to be expected in the current circumstances. I can see me revisiting back and forward with a number of family and friends throughout current times it's good to have somewhere to go and enjoy company and a meal.
Ok for a one time visit but wouldn’t return. The overall vibe was just flat and there was no atmosphere. They seem more concerned with trying to get as many tables turned over as possible rather than ensuring their customers are enjoying Their time there. The Drink prices are extortionate which is fine when it’s a great experience but not worth it in my opinion. We ordered from pickled ginger which was fine. We were told twice about having the table for 1.5 hours, we already knew this from the booking confirmation. Then when paying our bill and finishing our drinks were told the Next People for our table had arrived, not our concern really? We had plenty time left on our booking and were seated late so this was just unnecessary. We had been at SWG3 beforehand and the experience was just far better. Won’t last long as more places start to open back up if they don’t change the way things are run. Also absolutely freezing and windy which isn’t their fault but bring a coat!
Great service, lovely food! The rain even stayed away.
Delicious food , fantastic service, definitely recommend
Great atmosphere, great service with the option of using the app or just asking one of the waiters. We got Pizzas that were very good. Drinks were a bit overpriced however happy to pay a bit extra to help businesses get back to the swing of things.
Great day until the male manager was extremely rude to us and kept asking us to leave even thought we had over 30 mins of our table left. Then when my friend advised it wasn’t our fault they had over booked he told us he would throw us out because we were rude when that was not the case. This was our first day out since March and it out a dampener on our visit. Luckily The female manager came over and apologised and gave us a discount on our bill which was very nice.
Really good food in a fab location. Really liked the idea of the black shutters which can be closed if raining. Great atmosphere.
Not being one for beer gardens I felt this was a very welcoming place to come for a drink with a vibrant atmosphere to match the kind staff. Will definitely be back.
Excellent service a warm welcome and made to feel that they valued our custom
Food was excellent
Would definitely go vack
Great location and set up! Staff were lovely. We had italian from Rotunda and food was really poor. It wasn’t cheap (which I’m fine with- happy to pay given places been closed for so long) but a bowl of pasta and a pizza isn’t hard to get right! Will still be back though to try the other menus as ambience and set up was lovely!
Great day at Cranside Kitchen, was nice to get out and about again!
Nearly £6 for a pint of lager is extortionate, almost double most city centre bars!
Overall, a lovely experience. But, food was initially cold though swiftly sorted. Prices on bill didn't match menu but also corrected. Staff very friendly and polite. Can see a big effort to accommodate customers in difficult times.
Great night had, food was great.. service was great
Despite the weather the meal was lovely and all the staff were friendly. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends. Only suggestion I would have to make improvements would be to have music playing in the background but understand this isnt easy to set up. Thanks for a great experience and a rainy day in glasgow! :)
Food and cocktails were lovely. Felt the prices were reasonable and service really quick. Had to wait a wee bit for our table, weather wasn’t great but certainly not Cransides fault!
Staff were so helpful and friendly and kept very calm and organised under extremely stressful circumstances.
Very good experience here for my first time dining ! Staff done a great job considering the circumstances and improvised well with the weather. Would highly recommend
Rubbish food. Chicken not cooked, bruschetta soggy, asparagus sauce Cold.
Very wet and no protection from the elements. If you are servicing expensive food you expect a cover.
Drinks £5.80 a pint!
Our server was both helpful and courteous. We had to wait 15mins after our allotted time.
A rather abrupt member of management told at exactly 4.30 we had to vacate our table.
Portions are very small and overpriced.
Service was very slow. Waited 30 mins before getting a drink and ordering food. When you only have a 1hr30m time slot you expect quicker service than this. We enjoyed the cocktails when they arrived and there was a good selection on the menu. The food from Pickled Ginger was poor, the meat was too fatty to eat most of it. When reported to a member of staff they did take 25% off the bill but we left hungry. When booking I asked if the table would be under cover and we were told yes. However we had one of a very small number of tables with no cover. The staff did bring umbrellas, however a table umbrella would have been more practical as we couldn't eat while holding an umbrella. Would also have been nice to have some music, not sure if there was a reason for not having this.
Great set up to cope with current restrictions. Tables are well apart and food was excellent. Pick your menu online beforehand if you can, but if not don't worry, the staff are excellent at guiding you through the options, on arrival.
A few teething problems for this visit, but on day 2 this is understandable.
The service staff were very professional and very attentive. Food was gorgeous!
Horribly slow service and prices are extremely expensive (pint for £5.85), not sure how popular this place will be once everything else starts to open up but had a great time because it had been so long!
Table at half 5,ordered drinks straight away, after asking 3 staff members and a manager drinks arrived at 10 past 6. Seemed to be a lot of staff not doing much. Our food arrived first. Possibly early teething problems. After that the manager sorted out issues with a free beer and 25% discount. Would have preferred excellent service to begin with. Food from Halloumi was great!! Will defo give it another go!!
Couldn’t fault it really well executed everything was pristine. Great service great staff great food from Halloumi as good as the restaurant.
