Crimson Diner + Whiskey Bar
Here's how we make a reservation for parties of 7+ on the following levels:
The Diner maximum for a large group is up to 14 persons. The coffee bar has a high-top table that seats 10 persons as well.
The Whiskey bar can accommodate a large group of 12-16 at one of our high-top tobacco leaf island seating tables, these are always first come first served. The semi-private seating in the 'hunting gallery' & 'private lounge' can be reserved through our events coordinator. Please email us at email@example.com
The View (penthouse level) firstname.lastname@example.org Weather permitting always!
This was a great spot to host my BFF's birthday dinner, but I do have several issues that would discourage me from going back for another celebration. First, I had to pay a $25 fee to bring in a birthday cake even though I called ahead and I was told that I could. They must have forgotten to mention the fee on the phone. Second, while we really enjoyed the diner- it was incredibly hot. There were so many people and it was so hot. The heat was a big distraction from the dinner party. It was super warm in the basement as well. However, the rooftop was beautiful and the food was delicious.
Great place and great food! We came in early for a reservation but were seated immediately, which is always a great start.
Service was exceptional!
A new must have when I’m in the city!
Our reservation went from 6 to 10 people during the course of Monday afternoons hockey game. The restaurant was not very busy but we were placed in the very back of restaurant near kitchen and restrooms.
Not very appealing when we simply wished to make early New Year's toast and nosh on a few appetizers.
To top it off, our server one to brought a bottle of wine and immediately poured 3 glasses without allowing anyone to taste. Between the wine and slow service, a very blah get together. And everyone departed .
I had never been before, but loved Crimson! Before dinner we grabbed a drink at the downstairs whiskey bar level, which was massive, but still such a cozy, relaxed vibe. The diner's menu was vast and had plenty of vegetarian options to choose from (much appreciated, Crimson, thank you!!) and the milkshakes and cocktails were delicious. Prices were very reasonable for what you got, and I can't wait to go back and try more. Service was rather slow, but that was the only negative, which is not bad at all.
Bernadette, a server at the diner, was extraordinary. She went above and beyond in accommodating our group
Offered a variety of menu options for a diverse group.
We started with cocktails and a great view on the roof then moved downstairs for dinner. The fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese dip were my favorites, but all the food was good.
Great choice! All the food was amazing. The service was excellante
We scheduled for breakfast - a group of 9 - and had a wonderful experience. A few of us were interested in a large meal and nobody was disappointed. The eggs benedict was perfection, the biscuits large, and the eggs were tasty. Coffee was particularly excellent!
We had a party of about 16 for a farewell gathering and the lounge/couch area downstairs was perfect! However it was busy for a Monday and it took a tad too long for several drinks to arrive. The drink selection was excellent though!
We had a fun group brunch with about 12 friends. The food was good and the actual space is great. The wait staff was friendly, but not super attentive or quick. Would recommend for a fast casual meal but nothing special.
It was refreshing just to find and enjoying our dinning experience there. Thank you Nick and Jane and the Sat. - Sunday Bartender (for his name tall guy).
Christmas Concert afterwards
Large group lunch for a colleague's birthday, and we would have liked to be able to get in and out of Crimson a bit faster. That being said, most everyone was pleased with their food (a range of breakfast and lunch food).
