Really great service, lovely staff and amazing food. Unfortunate that it was so quiet, we were the only people in the restaurant, which was hard to understand as everything they serve is great. Will recommend to friends!

This was the second time we went to Crispin and we can confirm it is excellent. The food is always surprising. We loved the unusual ingredients that, put together, creat some unexpected yet delicious plates.
Stefano is a delicate and discrete manager, but always present. He always has some great advices about wine parings, and the wine menu change every week. You can find there some classic styles, as well as some natural and biodynamic funky bottles.
We are already looking forward to coming there next month.

Delicious and innovative food from Michael Thompson - lots of ingredients I hadn’t tried before and all very tasty. The service and wine list were impeccable too. One of everything to share between two is such great value for money.

Been here once for dinner and really enjoyed it, but brunch was something else! All four of us absolutely loved what we ordered - highly recommend the burrata on garlic toast. We'll be back for sure!

The absolute best breakfast that I have ever had in my life. The Avocado Toast just melts in your mouth. The kind of food you dream of.

We ordered and shared a bit of everything and we loved the (unusual) combination of different spices that results in unique taste. Menu changes on a weekly basis, it is short but that comes with the guarantee of fresh ingredients; dishes are well presented and portion are good. The staff is friendly and the environment cosy, not noisy. Good place to catch up with friends after work. I'd recommend Crispin.

I had some amazing food during the Fallow chefs' residency. The dinner was really delicious and I regretted being on my own on the occasion only because I wished I tried more dishes.
The red wine was OK, but they had several promising options.
Crispin looks great from the outside and it is probably very pleasant inside, but it was very loud. For those who like quiet, I recommend choosing less crowded times - but I highly recommend the restaurante.
I will definitely return.

Wanted to try for ages and definitely didn’t disappoint! Food full of flavour. Delivered in a timely fashion by very polite staff ! Will definitely be back !

Very small portions

Didn’t know what to expect and wow was glad we booked. Had a wonderful evening, excellent food and wine. Staff very attentive and excited about the food as well meeting Will. We both enjoy eating food made with passion and excitement.

Crispin is great. They change the menu frequently so it’s important to check it meets your tastes. I visited on Friday and the menu wasn’t as great as a previous time I visited. Anyway, the service is great, food is carefully crafted and presented and the small space is used very well.
Would recommend for a date. ‘Everything on the menu for two’ works great. Cocktails also very good!

The seating was really tight and the service was ok- dishes were lovely and came out in good timing but maybe we will come back for lunch instead of dinner. When I called I asked if there would still be a regular dinner menu available despite it being Valentine’s Day and the lady said yes- but when I got there it was just the v-day menu. Perhaps there could have been clearer communication on that.

Excellent place and food. A bit expensive for the sharing 7 course menu there was at valentines. We both could had 1 menu each.

We had a good meal at Crispin opting for the 'one of everything option' which is good value. The only negative is that food comes quite quickly, arriving as it is cooked so with dishes occasionally overlapping. We realised afterwards that we'd all felt subconsciously rushed. Superb service though - friendly, efficient and genuinely lovely people. It was busy and loud so we struggled to hear what we were being given but managed to hold a conversation across the table. Great place.

Delish meal and excellent service

Excellent food and amazing service. Great concept that builds on sustainability and British/European cuisine as started so long ago by places like St. John. Price point was almost too cheap to be true. Amazing wines. Very fun place with great hosts and lovely atmosphere.

Food was great. The ‘one of everything for 2’ is such a good deal. Each dish was delicious. The house wine was lovely and the atmosphere v.cool. Will definitely be coming back.

A great addition to the local casual eating options list. The food and flavours were lovely. The “main courses” were no bigger than the small plates. As a table of four we had “one of everything” plus an extra brad, burrata and main course which was fine, but didn’t leave us overly full.
We were advised on booking we’d only have the able for approx 90mins which we were fine with. But in reality we were still having plates bought out 2.5 hours after we arrived.
The service was slow but they were very kind and electively took some money off the bill.
It won’t put me off going back as the food was very good and it’s a nice place.

The restaurant was very pretty and decor/food is aesthetically pleasing which is the main reason I booked it. As a whole we thought it could have been better value for money. Food tasted good and the banana bread was delicious and great coffee. Staff were very friendly and nice environment.

The food was fantastic. Creative, attractive, delicious and sustainable! The service was excellent, we were given explanations for everything we tried and any questions we had were answered. Really enjoyed the experience.

A really unique and special dinner! It's great to get the 'one of each for 2' - you think it might not be a lot but it really is. Each dish was really thoughtful and delicious. I love that Crispin can be a spot you return to often, but the menu's always changing.

This is a very clever small plates place- lots of exciting matches of flavours and textures in a succession of extremely creative dishes. Tasty and stimulating.

Fantastic food and a very knowledgeable sommelier who recommended us some very unusual but delicious wines

Portion sizes were very small. My friends meal was brought well before mine despite being told they would be delivered at the same time. We didn't enjoy the green salad or the gnocchi (too much vinegar). We were offered a complimentary dessert which we declined which was then added to the bill and we had to ask for it to be removed.

Food was great as always, the one of everything is the dream! Some slight issues with the service, but they fixed it as quickly as they could.

This restaurant is such a pleasure!! Imaginative menu, unusual flavour combinations, fresh ingredients cooked with skill and attention to detail, each dish beautifully presented. Menu changes frequently but both our visits so far have been a treat for the eyes and taste buds. Excellent option of all dishes for £59. Small list of well chosen and well kept wines (the Austrian red especially good and the white port aperitif highly recommended, refreshing after a long day!) served by staff who are knowledgeable and take time to help with choices. Atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Some noise from a birthday party soon died down. Background music not intrusive. If you haven't tried Crispin, then we recommend you do.
