Crispin is an all day restaurant & wine bar in Spitalfields serving seasonal sharing plates, low intervention wines & cocktails.

Our chefs are led by the talented Lewis de Haas (ex Petersham Nurseries & The Shed). They deliver a European inspired menu, using locally & sustainably sourced ingredients from independent growers, small-scale farms & producers (think seasonal croquettes, organic British vegetables, sustainable seafood, classic cuts). We also have a natural wine list, bottle shop & wine club curated by our Head of Wine Alexandra Price, where we focus on natural wines using indigenous & rare grape varieties.

The glass & zinc pavilion is located on White’s Row, Spitalfields, on the junction with Crispin Street. We have seating for 40 inside in view of our open-kitchen & 20 on our garden terrace.

I took my Mum and some relatives for lunch. Whilst the small plates, delivered when they are done, system is not to my (or my guests) liking we worked with the staff who were able to accommodate us in having food in two sessions. There were a few very impressive dishes , although I wasn't too keen on the sweetcorn, big fat mushrooms and sauce accompanying the John Dory, the fish though was excellent. Its a small and cute venue and perfect for a less formal meetup with food and drink.

Disappointing. Menu lacked substance which was then matched by the lack of attention to detail with the service, and the poor execution with the food. Stick to Bar Crispin in Soho

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff as well as an exciting & delicious summer menu. We had a wonderful time, our seat got a bit warm in the scorching lunchtime sunshine, I asked if we could move to a more covered table and this was sorted.

Overall, my experience was good. The one thing that was disappointing was how rushed I was made to feel. Every dish arrived before I’d finished eating the previous course. I ate alone and had time and yet I left feeling that they couldn’t get me out of there soon enough. What happened to ‘mains away’ after the starter plate has at least left the table? Food wise, everything was delicious and smelt good. For me the crab was a little too creamy but that’s just a personal opinion. I just wished I’d been allowed to savour my meal rather than have 3 courses and be out in under 40 minutes of arriving (including looking at the menu and ordering).

It was a great vibe and the dishes were tasty but for what they were it was too expensive and the tables were way too close together it made dining feel strange. I also didn’t like the fact that you only get the table for 90 minutes, felt rushed. It was fine but wouldn’t return again.

This is the fifth time! It is hard to fault in any way. The menu seems to change weekly, with a few stalwarts remaining and others being replaced by new delights! The team is amazing, passionate about Crispin, and knowledgeable about the details of all of the food. Keep it up; it's a brilliant restaurant for friends or business associates. We took our banker this week—he loved it so much he paid!

Crispin is a lovely place to spend time with friends catching up while enjoying great food and beverages in lovely surroundings. Staff are helpful and attentive.
