Great atmosphere, relaxed with lovely food choices. Staff were very attentive.
Awesome staff. Interesting menu. Fabulous wines. I’ve never been disappointed on each return visit. Bravo!
Fabulous food being produced out of a tiny kitchen. Waiting staff were lovely. Recommend the one of everything!
Food was great as always, the one of everything is the dream! Some slight issues with the service, but they fixed it as quickly as they could.
This restaurant is such a pleasure!! Imaginative menu, unusual flavour combinations, fresh ingredients cooked with skill and attention to detail, each dish beautifully presented. Menu changes frequently but both our visits so far have been a treat for the eyes and taste buds. Excellent option of all dishes for £59. Small list of well chosen and well kept wines (the Austrian red especially good and the white port aperitif highly recommended, refreshing after a long day!) served by staff who are knowledgeable and take time to help with choices. Atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Some noise from a birthday party soon died down. Background music not intrusive. If you haven't tried Crispin, then we recommend you do. If you have then you will be back for sure, as we will, soon!! Thanks Crispin. And especially for the birthday candle, much appreciated. See you soon.
Such interesting food and delicious natural wines. Staff were so much fun and really attentive. Highly recommend for a fun night with friends if you appreciate good food and wine! Thanks Crispin team!
Nice location really quiet and lovely atmosphere.
Good quality food.
Food and service both excellent. The one bathroom seems to be acting as a public bathroom, which is unfortunate.
Food was delicious, one the best restaurants in London. Had the taster menu with my partner and was full, great value for money. Will definitely be back!
I rate this place very highly - great tasting menu style food but at a low cost. There is space to sit outside away from any main roads with a lovely Shoreditch atmosphere. Delightful servers. There was rather a gap between courses at one stage so I was comp-ed a glass of wine which was an excellent handling of the situation. Highly recommended.
Really impressed with our first visit to Crispin. I really don't understand why this place isn't packed! Excellent food, very affordable and brilliant service. The 'one of everything' option is like a low-cost tasting menu (just £59 for 2 people). And there is outside seating. Fab experience - loved it.
Food was sensational. We had one of everything off the menu for 2 and it was fantastic value for money. I know the menu changes week by week so will certainly be returning.
We were slightly worried when we saw the short menus at Crispin but we ordered one of everything and a few doubles. The food was excellent - each dish was well thought out and interesting. We really enjoyed the food here. Service pretty good too.
I've always come to Crispin for brunch and recently tried the dinner menu and it did not disappoint! The service was outstanding. They really took care of us and were so lovely and friendly. Food and wine was great. All in all, very happy with Crispin!
Amazing experience and outstanding service!
Modern style restaurant with a warm and friendly service.
Quality/price excellent (try a bit of everything)
Food combination excellent and new. An explosion of flavours.
Wine selection excellent and for every taste
I likely choose to celebrate my girlfriend birthday at Crispin and they’re really looked after us.
Stefano has been an excellent host, waiter and sommelier with a wide knowledge of all the products. He enhanced our experience with his accurate description and perfect wine match suggestions, not to mention his friendly service.
Crispin is definitely a place I’ll go back and strongly suggest to others.
Most delicious food experience I've had in a long, LONG time and definitely somewhere I will be making sure to visit very soon.
The staff are incredibly friendly and the whole atmosphere there really made both mine and my boyfriend's evening.
Seriously great food, unpretentious and delicious. They are a really friendly bunch in here too. Keep meaning to try their brunch. Oh and if their ham and cheese 'toastie' is on the menu, you need to order it, you will not be disappointed!
After drinking lots of coffee at Lundenwic, I decided to try dinner at Crispin. It was fantastic. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff who suggested perfect wine pairings, delicious food, great atmosphere and not to loud, also very good value for money.
I have already recommended Crispin to a few friends - food is always ace and staff are super accommodating! I’ll definitely be back again soon.
Imaginative cooking, fresh ingredients, well presented. Taster menu for 2 is £58, excellent idea, good price. Interesting wines. Genuinely friendly service, know their food and happy to help with choices. Good atmosphere, music
but not intrusive. Small restaurant but big value!! We paid £159 for three including drinks and service. Don't find many genuinely different eating experiences but this is one, definitely on my list to come back to.
Warm and friendly service without being intrusive. Great food and wine selection, limited but well put together, less is often more.
Excellent meal, great variety of dishes (and flavours/textures etc), interesting wines, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a very relaxed atmosphere. The type of place you return to over and over again.
I love the food here and I loved their format “one of each”. They changed it on this occasion and didn’t take the time to explain it to the table - they’re always v busy. We realised 2 dishes in (it was never going to be enough food) and asked what was going on at which point we were given the info. The service generally this time was rushed which is fine but the waiter was rude and annoyed with us for not understanding the new format. It left a weird atmosphere. The guy who usually runs it wasn’t there, but I would really look into the level of service as this changed the feeling a lot
Delicious. Lovely service. Great atmosphere. Will be back.
Absolutely wonderful experience at Crispin. Wait staff are attentive and kind, the food was unbelievable and for what you pay it couldn’t of been better. Came to Crispin for a birthday/date and we were immediately greeted at the entrance by a lovely lady who wished my partner happy birthday. They were also happy to make any cocktail of your choice. We chose 4-5 dishes between two of us and each opted to have desert; which they also brought out with a candle with it. Couldn’t of asked for a better night - will be back for sure.
Excellent value for money, generous portions too!
Warm welcome, fantastic selection of natural biodynamic wines alongside scrumptious food created by guest Chefs of strong culinary backgrounds. Open-plan food prep area giving a completely transparent view of your food and beverage to your experience. Cosy atmosphere, perfect balance between business meetings as well as friendly catch ups or even romantic dates. Will be back!!
It is reasonable price and foods are satisfied customer’s expectations. I loved here. Very nice! I’ll miss main chef’s taste which is going to leave Crispin next week.
Lovely little place. I recommend ordering one each from the small plates menus and sharing between two.
Nice place for a dinner with friends. Lovely scandi style. Nice small tapas menu and gorgeous wine list.
Excellent food, fun music and good service. Would absolutely go again especially as they frequently change the menu
Tucked neatly off Spitafield in a cool architecture building, the place had a great vibe, great music, and the food (we ordered everything on the menu!) was great, wine was very complimentary too, can't wait to be back, booking will be required soon, you can tell this place is on its way to being very popular very soon!!
This is a must-visit restaurant. I go once a month at least due to fantastic, quality food, with a weekly changing menu. You never get the same thing twice and it is excellent! Also friendly service and great wine.
New favourite restaurant. Great food (weekly menu) and even better wine list.
We've wanted to have dinner at Crispin since it opened - their Instagram updates are so tempting! Finally made it on Saturday - arrived at 6pm and it was already busy, felt welcomed and the restaurant was buzzy but not too loud. We went for the 'one of everything' option, which arrives in pairs of dishes - excellent if you plan to spend the evening eating away! Each dish was delicious (rainbow carrots with hazelnuts and hake broth were my favourites) and the format of two at a time stopped anything getting cold. Would have liked to stay for dessert, but we had to rush off to catch a train. A perfect place for dinner if you like sharing plates and want to spend the evening relaxing and being fed in this uniquely designed restaurant.
Went for the 'one of everything' which is like a tasting menu but with the option to leave out courses/ add extras. Made things really easy and we loved every plate especially the pasta. Had a good chat with the chef afterwards who seems genuinely passionate about what they are doing. Only complaint was that the music was quite loud.
Delicious dinner and lovely low key atmosphere. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would go there again tomorrow!
Food is a bit on the salty side. Some dishes really stand out and some are just average. However the cost/performance is impeccable. Would come back for small gathering. Would like to try the breakfast too.
Fantastic menu, great service. We tried food we wonder usually order, and it was delicious!
Great Dusty Knuckle bread and knockout smoked butter.
Homemade ravioli too was a treat
Nice size plates and good wines by the glass for £6-8
