Good service and good food. Price is very reasonable.
The sake was excellent. The food was also good but we ordered the fried dishes which was not what we normally eat but there wasn’t much choice for non meat eaters.
Nobu was booked, so we booked Cubé instead. We have gone to Nobu in D.C., Houston, and Las Vegas. So of course we wanted to check London off the list. Sorry London, we will always book Cubé instead! Absolutely amazing and delicious. Relaxed ambiance, great food, great service. We were actually full when we left :)
Best sushi I’ve had in London. And reasonably priced. A lunch for 4 there cost me less than a dinner for one at Zuma the night before.
Excellent quality sushi. Some of the best mauro, chu-toro I've found among London Japanese restaurants.
Outstanding quality of sushi and wagyu beef, but at a corresponding price
Just amazing. Authentic experience of Japanese izakaya, felt like we are in Tokyo. Small number of seatings make it very cosy and intimate. Will be back!
Loved the traditional japanese vibe, food was authentic and so was the service.
Best sushi in the West End and fairly priced for the quality.
Great experience, very chill which is great for a business lunch. Food was not bad. I’d come back again. Service was okay.
It was an amazing sushi night! From outside the restaurant doesn’t give you a ‘wow’ effect first, but then you enter and eat amazing fresh fish! The sushi were super tasty! We were celebration my birthday with my wife, we sat on the counter for Chef’s Omakase Course and it was an amazing experience! Chef’s selection was great, he explained where the fish comes and what he puts with it. All of them were so good. Covid measurements were very good, we had plastic separators on the counter and the service people were staying not too close, all of them were wearing masks. They even put a candle and sang happy birthday for me.
It’s not easy to find good sushi restaurants in London and this place is definitely one of them! We will definitely come back again.
Great authentic Japanese that I would recommend.
Lovely fresh food, beautiful presentation, friendly service.
They served us incredibly fresh sushi and sashimi. They were so tasty and beautifully presented. We have thoroughly enjoyed our delicious lunch. If you are looking to find a authentic Japanese place to eat, this restaurant is highly recommend.
It's been an amazing Sunday evening spent in the care of the chef and the team. We (re-)discovered exceptional flavours in a cosy atmosphere. It felt like a truly special parenthesis out of time, not to mention the delicate dishes. They made our taste-buds travel to what would be an authentic Japanese-style experience. I cannot believe it took us so long to go to that restaurant and I would say it's the best-kept secret in London. Anyone having lived in Japan would surely enjoy this place as much as we did.
What a gem! Lovely and tiny space behind Oxford Street. The food was delicious, and we ordered almost everything. Will definitely be back!
Amazing food and staff. Really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back
We had a fantastic meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was outstanding, service was great, felt COVID safe and will certainly go again. Would highly recommend.
A slight disappointment as it came highly recommended. I ordered omakase for lunch and it was quite a long wait before the first piece was ready and one of them (sea bream) had a small piece of bone in it though the manager quickly apologised. I believe the chef responsible for omakase that day was in training as he didn't come across very confident. Although I may not recommend omakase, the sushi and sashimi set that my husband had was very good value for money.
Very hard to find great omakase with friendly chefs and a warm, welcoming atmosphere in London that isn't prohibitively expensive -- Cube being one! A gem of Mayfair.
Ordered sushi lunch set - super high quality fish at very reasonable price.
This was my second time in cubè, amazing quality food.
I went for the omakase course at the counter, great ability of the chefs. The eel nigiri was next level. I will go back as soon as possible.
Great staff. Attentive and friendly. Varied and impressive menu. Everything we ordered was fantastic
Great lunch set !
Always outstanding food and drinks menu. Felt distanced and safe. I can not wait for the bar to open again.
Cubé exceeded my expectations yet again!
We had an incredible English sparkling rosé called Black Chalk. Usually I’m not keen on rosé or English wine but I cannot recommend this one enough! It also paired excellently with tasty eel donburi (unagi don).
Great Japanese restaurant. Miso glazed aubergine is lovely.
Recently I had the best sushi there. I'm from Japan and it wouln't be easier to find anything better than Omakase sushi at Cubé Mayfair. The chef used the best ingredients from all over the world and made sure my favourite were included. I had amazing eel from Cornwall. Yes, Cornwall! The service was excellent too, authentic omotenashi hospitality from Japan.
Quality of the fish at Cube is the best I've found in London, the staff and service is genuinely delightful and it was lovely to go back after the lockdown. The set lunches are incredible value and the chef gave us chu-toro and turbot as part of our sashimi set - extremely generous. Can't recommend highly enough
Outstanding food and service is impeccable!!! Highly recommended...
This was the best choice for my first post lockdown restaurant dinner. The wine, sake list is excellent and the food is always so great. Full menu available and felt safe and well prepared. Thank you!
Although it was quite empty (restaurants had just opened up after pandemic) the service was great and food was good quality.
Sushi quality was even good compare to have it on the counter, even though it was a lunch meal deal. I’ll definitely come back again.
Best sushi in London
Very solid food from people who clearly care about what they are making. A comfortable place as well, the focus is on eating well.
The best sushi I have had in London till now. Very nice quality for the price. I will recommend Omakase set than ordering dishes separately as the main good thing is the sushi.
Friendly staff and delicious food. The prices are worth it!
Stunning and authentic Japanese food, now my top Japanese restaurant of choice in London.
Good value omakase in London!
Food was absolutely amazing and very authentic! Service was the best too, will definitely be bringing friends and recommending to others frequently. I dare say it is the best Japanese restaurant I’ve had in London.
