Had a fantastic Mother’s Day dinner. For the busiest dinner day of the year they did great. They were very friendly and more importantly the food was great. Will absolutely be back.
The food was wonderful and the staff was very friendly.
This was our first time for mother's day. The place, the service, the food, the lovely family owners of the place, everything was awesome! My brother and I did not know it was a BYOB place and it was raining. Luckily a young man came to our rescue and offered to go to the wine place and get wine for us. He was one of the owners. Then, his mother told us the story of this lovely place. Very nice family; it made us feel like home. As if this was not nice enough, when the food arrived, not only the smell but the taste of Italy in each plate. I ordered the Branzino over spinach, homemade meatballs and NY cheesecake. Amazing....I finished everything in my plate (and that never happens!) My mother was very happy and this is what we all wanted for mother's day. My congratulations to the owners not only for this great place but for being such a united family. Cheers
This was my first meal here. I dined this past Tuesday. I came based upon Open Table recommendations. Michael was our waiter and was excellent.
I can honestly say that it was one of the best Italian meals I have ever had. My guest was equally delighted with the food. We followed Michael's recommendations - since he had a clear love of food and knew everything possible about each item.
I will now have this as a regular stop in the future. A great plus for Millburn.
I am happy that I read carefully the prior ratings from Open Table diners.
Everything was great but the service was very slow. It was fine because we were not in a hurry and the food was worth waiting for.
Always a safe choice. Good quality at reasonably price in a nice setting. And its BYOB, which we love to do.
Went here based on reviews I read as I was looking for local restaurant in Milburn.
Well worth the reviews and we had a great meal and the value was terrific.
We most definitely will be back.
The food was great, such a cute setup and the service was amazing! Went for dinner and booked again for the following week that night!
Everything was DELICIOUS! can’t wait to return!
Made a reservation on open table and when we got there they were closed
The manager was so kind, our server was professional and helpful, and the food was DELICIOUS. The atmosphere is just what we were looking for in the perfect Valentine’s Day date spot.
Excellent place to dine in, my girlfriend and I had a blast! Perfect, quiet, and romantic atmosphere for a Valentine's day dinner. Highly recommend!
Great food and service! We are regulars here all year and are especially happy we can get out for a socially distanced meal!
This is a great place! We have had dinner here many times in the past and the food has always been great. The staff couldn't be nicer and they go out of their way to make your experience terrific. Hope to go back in a week or so...can't wait!
I’m always gonna give 5 stars because I love this place when we arrived for our reservation and after being confirmed twice the place was not open . A call would have been nice
Great outdoor dinning with what’s available out there. Food was excellent as usual.
Food here is always excellent....really does remind you of a home cooked meal!
Outside tables at a comfortable distance. Food was amazing. New menu items were great.
Delightful owners making sure we were ok throughout the evening, wonderful and attentive service, and delicious food - even my picky kids cleared their plates!
I read several reviews complaining about the service... on this site as well as Yelp
The service was excellent! Attentive, courteous and welcoming...
The food was very good especially the pear salad
If in the area again to go to the PlayHouse I would definitely return
We ate at La Cucina for the first time before a show at the Papermill. The food was very good, needed a bit more sauce on the pasta with the chicken Francese. The service was also very good up until it was time for coffee and dessert. They were fairly busy, and the service slacked a bit. Overall, very good experience.
Everything was adequate except for dessert. I ordered orange sorbet and was served a hollowed-out orange with the sorbet inside. Nice, except this concoction was frozen solid! By frozen, I mean I was not able to chip off a bit of sorbet to eat. It took a half hour of trying to crack the thing. My husband ordered biscotti but the waiter came back to say they didn't have any. In an Italian restaurant? It also seemed the place was much less populated than it had been when it was Clemenza's.
Would have given a higher score but we had reservations, had to wait over 1/2 hr before being seated. Had to ask to have our wine opened and for wine glasses. Received our salad which was very good but then waited over an hour for our meal. I understand they were short a person but thought this was really slow. Might go back because the food was really good but it's not going to be for quite a while. Hope they get their staffing situation fixed.
Our reservation was at 5:15 so when we arrived it wasn't that busy, but by 6:00 the place was packed. Our waitperson, Jeffrey, was attentive, friendly and not afraid to have a conversation. He was knowledgeable about the menu and, even as it became very busy, still checked on us often to see to our needs. The food was excellent and our friends who joined us also raved about the food. It is a BYOB restaurant which we like. We will definitely go back and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some good Italian food just like Mamma used to make.
Wonderful little find!
Always a great experience here. Solid Italian food. Excellent service. Never feel rushed.
Enjoyable! Great food!
Happy new year everything was wonderful thank you ❤️
Changed menu not a plus. Wait staff needs a lot of work!
Went here before going to a show. Was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere. Service was excellent. Food was excellent.onky complaint was a little sparse on the pasta.
Great food, great service, convenient location.
Excellent meal and service! We shared many appetizers and everyone was extremely happy with their meals, too. We forgot to bring wine for byob, but the place down the street delivered in a flash. Lovely evening!
We had dinner at Cucina 382. We noticed the menu changed and the food was still delicious with larger portions. There were more fish and healthier selections. We will be back.
Great place. Food was good. Will come back
Great food and very attentive service! Ambiance is nice, and they have a coal fired pizzeria attached!
Went to see a show at Papermill so wanted something near by. Great food, service and atmosphere. It was a Wednesday night so it wasn’t crowded so the noice level was fine!! Would definitely go again if going to another show!
This was a horrible experience. My husbands food had a large piece of plastic in it. It took an hour to be served. I would not recommend.
Eh—-would not return, small portions, salty, nice decor-
