The idea of Da Vinci Restaurant can be traced back tp 2014, when Elena proud owner and head chef , discovered Scotland for the first time, and decided to introduce some of the Tuscan gastronomic traditions to the cordial people of the stunning land. Since our opening night on September 2017, we have been learning and improving happily as a small independent business. We are proud to serve delicious Italian staples and promote unique but authentic flavours of Tuscany. From starter to dessert, including wine and liquors, our aim is to offer an experience that is closest to our native land.

We have been to Da Vinci's a few times now, it's tucked away in cobblestoned Alford lane (beautiful in the summer with outdoor seating). The great service is what keeps us coming back, all the servers are really friendly and know everything about the menu so you can always ask what they would recommend and you won't be disappointed. It's quite small but it's a nice intimate place. I wouldn't say it's quiet (depends what time you go I suppose) but it's got great atmosphere and character and the chatter adds to it. Good level of background noise and liveliness, 5 stars all round.

Went for valentines dinner & was not disappointed. Taken up stairs where we were the only dinners but soon filled up & the atmosphere was good and we were well attended to. Good menu with specials to chose from also. Food was lovely, plenty of flavour and portion sizes were decent. Overall very good experience and will be going back.

The service was excellent couldn’t fault it. However the dish I ordered lacked something and my husbands dish had a very strong flavour he didn’t enjoy. My dessert was not as expected either. Therefore I don’t think I will hurry back.

It is a quaint little italian in the back streets along a cobbled walkway. Lovely place to go for a date or intimate catch up with friends. The service was good but seemed like only one waitress working that night, we waited 25 mins for our first drink...that was the only floor. Food was fresh and presented well and a good wholesome authentic taste. I would def go again

Lovely, delicious tasting food in an intimate restaurant . Although really central it is situated in a pedestrian lane . A real gem in the city centre and Elena is a fabulous chef. Thanks for another memorable evening .

Delicious food. This is one of my favourite restaurants in aberdeen. Good awareness of different food needs. Ie intolerances and veggie/vegan options. I really appreciated the measures towards social distancing. On entry to the restaurant, there were gel stations and clearly marked floors. Instead of using traditional menus, we were provided with a QR code to scan which took us to a webpage where we ordered and paid for our meal in advance. These measures reduced the contact with staff which reduces the risk to both staff and customers. Highly recommend.

lovely friendly restaurant in the centre of the city , but situated in a quiet lane . Food was fantastic - slow cooked beef in red wine was delicious. My friends had never eaten here before and asked me to make a reservation for the following week - they loved the whole experience. Thank Elena and staff for another fantastic evening.
