Had a person at the front laugh in my face after I told them I had a reservation for one...that wasn’t a good start.
Thankfully my server and the drinks were spectacular.
Fantastic cocktails and the waiters were busy but really kind and helpful. Go for drinks with friends or on a first date
Drinks were disappointing for the price, all cocktails were fine but lacked kick and complexity. Service was mainly ok but we booked a table for four and were given a table for three with a tiny stool pushed up to the side. Because of the layout it also grew quite noisy. For the reputation I was expecting a high-end cocktail bar but overall was disappointed.
Went with friends for Christmas drinks. The cocktails were to die for! Amazing views across the river.
Worth a visit (before it closes) to enjoy impeccably mixed experimental cocktails. Service was very good and we enjoyed a few snacks along the way. It's a buzzy place, so worth reserving if in a small group. Slightly noisy for round table convivial conversations, and beware the fact it's one of those places where your bill can get surprisingly large surprisingly fast.
Wonderful views and great ambiance. The only thing that let it down a little was the inflexibility of the hostess. She wouldn’t allow our party to move to another area as we were sitting in a draughty area.
Amazing hand crafted cocktails, the staff know all about them and are more than happy to help you choose, explaining everything that goes in. The atmosphere is perfectly balanced with nice chilled music, the volume allows you to cancel out the music or the talking, to focus on either one. The interior matches the setting and makes the visit even more pleasant. In addition to the view of South Bank. Would definitely recommend.
(Did not try food any, but the appetizers were good)
Always excellent, Dandelyan provides delicious drinks, a good and buzzy ambience and a wonderful evening. Everyone is very helpful drinks advice and we all had a really good time.
The bar is absolutely beautiful! Service was helpful and paid amazing attention to detail. The vibe inside is more relaxed than people might expect. Highly recommended to anyone willing to have amazing cocktails! Will be visiting again for sure!
Still a very classy bar. I preferred the previous cocktail menu, but the new cocktails were fascinating and unique all the same.
We’ve been told that the bar is to close down to make way for something different, and we can’t wait to return and see what changes will be made!
Totally worth going before they close. The cocktails were excellent, service is excellent and the view is the best part of the experience. For no reason we had to move tables and had this happened in the us the establishment would have comped a dessert or a round of drinks but this did not happen. While the drinks are super tasty it’s pretty expensive (13-14 British pounds per drink) so enjoy the view, sit near the window of you can and go before they close in the next few months
Great food- recommend apple pecan pie
Patient service- the lady was nice
Absolutely the #1 cocktail bar in the World. Superb cocktail and wonderful location
We had an amazing time at Dandelyon - we went for cocktails for my boyfriend’s birthday on Sunday evening and everything was just wonderful! Our waiter was knowledgable and friendly and was keen to help when we had questions. He was also very attentive and kept our water topped up and was on hand to order more drinks when we wanted. The drinks themselves were fantastic! Innovative, inventive, and fun! It was a good job our waiter knew what he was talking about though as some of the ingredients we were at a loss at, we had to have a bit of an explanation, but it was certainly worth it - delicious! They also gave my boyfriend a lovely cake with ‘happy birthday’ and a candle which was a nice touch! Lovely atmosphere, great drinks, friendly staff, what more could you want?
Fabulous creative cocktails,beautiful decor. wow!!
Waitress ignored us for >30 mins, had to wave down servers to get bill. Seats so far from each other you couldn’t have a conversation. Terrible.
There is a reason this place is #1. Top quality drinks, a lot of work goes behind the simplest things that one wouldn't even notice unless "tuned" into these things
Got spoiled by waiter when she realised it was out 1st wedding anniversary
We had a birthday celebration and we very much enjoyed the drinks and dessert!
Great service! Waitstaff and bartenders were very knowledgeable and we especially liked the secret cellar menu cocktails. The place had a great vibe to it. Definitely a good place to meet up with friends and have a few awesome cocktails with a view.
A wonderful bar , dramatic view, service and nice place !!
The service was GREAT. There was a slight mix up with our food order and we received two of everything we ordered. To make up for it they comped the whole meal! We were shocked at how generous this was for a very minor error.
Great bar and really good cocktails but after being shown to the table we had to request every instance of service (ask for menu, order, bill, pay). We were there for two hours and had two rounds of drinks so I don't think we were being pushy. They did refill the tap water often to be fair though.
Globally good cocktails and nice seating area but I had higher expectations for the #1 World’s best bar. The Pantone Spritz had a nice topping but the drink itself had nothing exceptional to my opinion, and it was quite busy on a Friday evening so might be best for a drinks with friends than a romantic date.
We had a table with a great view. A shame there was a turnaround on the table. Also a shame the bar will close in the next few months. A very interesting cocktail menu and great service.
Wonderful bar with the most exquisite cocktails which focus on taste-clashes, cultural experimenting and great taste. Would recommend. (Also dress nicely, because you will feel poor)
No wonder it was voted #bestbar in the world @dandelyanbar

Good cocktails, gorgeous view, pricey!
We went with a couple of friends on a Thursday night. The decor was great and overall service pretty good. The drinks were very reasonably priced given London standards. However, we ordered some cocktails multiple times and they were very inconsistent. Some of the cocktails on the menu were interesting and we appreciated the creativity but others went way too far and just weren’t drinkable. Overall, wouldn’t recommend going. London has so many excellent cocktail bars that serve far better drinks, making Dandelyan a bit redundant.
Extremely poor showing from the bar. Booked for a special occasion at 5pm on a Sunday. Not late at all. Turned up 15 mins early only to be told that under 18s aren’t allowed after 5. This was not shown whilst booking, when they called to confirm the booking or when I called on the day. Completely messed up all the effort I’d went to to make the afternoon special for a relative in from NZ. And the managers response? Sorry! Waste of space
The place is fantastic, staff is really nice, and the most important thing is the cocktail is so amazing, will definitely visit here again
Didn’t realise it was just a bar and no food booked a table and they will charge you a cancellation fee of £25 to £50 which is ridiculous! Found it cos it was one of the most “instagramable” places in London; no it was not very disappointing and the drinks were very expensive and not very nice
Really packed and very very loud so difficult to have a conversation , slow service and really average cocktails that weren’t worth the money, doubt I would ever return
The place is not bad, but definitely not the best bar in the world... cocktails are good. Atmosphere is so boring, you just want to drink and go...
Superb cocktails, excellent service. Ambience - well you can tell it's a hotel but it is comfortable.
Love this place! Been here a few times and I highly recommend booking in advance...the cocktails are so much fun and STRONG. The Bar staff is very knowlegable - looking forward to going back soon.
We unfortunately had a booking in the bar when there was obviously a very large group of mainly men using the bar throughout our visit. We were assigned a good table if the noise level and crowding had been a lot less. In fact the encroachment around our table and the noise level meant we had to leave earlier than intended!
It was a shame also as the attentive waiting staff were over run....usually they perform excellently, but the numbers of people in the bar was just too great!
No rating for food as we did not eat!
Well, having had a great experience in Rumpus Room upstairs I had high hopes for Dandelyan. I brought a friend on a trip to London which made the experience all the more disappointing. The place was freezing, even with my coat on I remained cold all night. The two cocktails we ordered (negroni and something fizz) where the two worst cocktails I ever had. Overly strong and a mis mash of flavours. The menu is pretentious with ingredients being listed by brand name - ie if you don’t recognise the name you won’t know what spirit it is), service was dreadful, took ages to take the first drinks order and we had to wave manically to order another drink (not a cocktail!), disappointing as it wasn’t busy and they had explained it was table service. Absolutely would not go back
Note - we didn’t have food but had to submit a rating to save review
The overall initial impressions were good - wasn't too busy, seated straight away and given menus each, but that was were the positive experience ended.
The drinks ordered were... unusual. I enjoyed mine, but a friend had ordered a cocktail with absynthe that tasted like Celery Juice, and nothing else, we were almost certain it was a Mocktail.
The service to get second drinks took forever and when we did order, the prosecco was of low quality and almost undrinkable. During this wait, we noticed how awful the music was and our vibe was extinguished and we decided to call it a night.
When trying to pay for the bill, it again took forever. Was nice to experience a gorgeous few and clean area, but can't say i shall be back
Service and the drinks were really great. It was a nice touch the waiters filling up glasses of water on your table. Waiters were also very friendly. Great evening.
