Just a short drive from the centre of Sheffield, in quaint Mosborough is Darcy’s Brasserie. Found inside the charming 12th century Mosborough Hall, this calm foodie retreat is very much part of the local community, offering pleasantly laid back dinners and lunches throughout the week. From Darcy’s bar, where pre dinner drinks are often enjoyed, move on to the elegance of the main restaurant with its imposing stone fireplace and contemporary, designer furnishings. The boutique feel continues with the menu, an enchanting blend of old and new flavours and locally sourced produce, presented with flair and more than a touch of art. On the very edge of the Peak District, Darcy’s Brasserie offers upmarket dining in a spectacular rural setting.

We ordered prawn and sweet chilli starter and the prawns were raw, completely grey inside, then I had Gammon steak and that was only half cooked we didn't bother with a desert as didn't want anymore disappointment.
Staff were lovely and I did get a free drink but not the point.

The food took nearly an hour to come and wasn't brilliant when it arrived.
