Darling’s is a fresh pasta eatery in East London. Overlooking Olympic Park, the eatery is a hidden gem in Fish Island where the industrial and creative spaces converge. Roman Road, Bow, Hackney Wick and Victoria Park are just a stroll away from your weekly treat of freshly made pasta and wine from independent producers.

Egle Loit, a trained pasta chef, has previously popped up mostly around East and North London, creating a buzz with her pre-restaurant residency at Vestry House Museum in 2023.

Founder of Darling’s cares dearly about the craft that fresh pasta making requires. “One can turn humble ingredients into abundance with skill,” shares the restaurateur.

Darling’s is designed to be an open space to be shared between the guests and the team, therefore there are no barriers between the service area and the dining area. You’ll find yourself connecting by enjoying your meal at the shared table. Those, who like to hide away, can still do it at separate tables.

Really wanted to love this local place but all the dishes were subpar. Burrata and truffle honey was good but nothing special. Meatballs were dry and paired with an undercooked tomato sauce. Cacio e Pepe was fine but was expecting more flavour from the leek and sausage pasta dish.

Visited for a birthday. I've been to quite a few 'big name' italians in central and have always been disappointed. But I couldn't be more impressed with Darlings! The food was incredible - the bread was amazing and the olives were the best I've found in London, the pastas we had were lovely too. The service was fantastic, drinks were amazing, and we sat outside to enjoy the beaut sunny weather. Couldn't recommend this place more - I will be a regular!

It’s not often I’d review a spot right after dining there but this place certainly deserves it. The service was spot on and the food was so incredibly fresh! 100% would come back again, such a gem of a find. It’s a bit tucked away but that’s makes it even more special

This was our first, and certainly not last, visit to Darling’s and we were blown away by the food. The flavours were fantastic and the service was very friendly and helpful. I can’t recommend it enough
