DARUMA Malahide is a morden Japanese restaurant with a fully covered and heated outdoor dining space, located in the heart of Malahide village. Our elegant and calming atmosphere offers guests a true zen-style experience paired with outstanding Japanese food and premium wine & sake and craft sake-based coctails.

With a large unique outdoor setting, Daruma Malahide also serves as great venue for special events. We have hosted experiences such as Yakitori & Ichiban Kirin Day , whole Blue fin tuna cutting with our local fishmonger, and more-making every occation memorable.
Our menu features sushi, ramen, tempura, and other Japanese specialties (eg, bluefin tuna, A5 wagyu), crafted with care to deliver refined and delicate flavors.

To accompany food, we offer a selection of shōchū-based, sake-based craft cocktails, wine, beer and premium sake imported from Japan. Whether you are enjoying a quiet dinner, a celebration, or a private event, Daruma Malahide is a great option.

Absolutely love this place. Proper sushi, wagyu, tempura, and more! Great cocktails and the desserts aren’t too bad either. One of our favorites in all of Dublin.

We went for a birthday, they made it very special. The food is incredible, weather was sunny so we sat outside. Cocktails were great and the serving team were very attentive. We had a good selection of food, enjoyed them all.

We travelled by train from Drogheda . Restaurant was within easy walking distance of the Dart station in Malahide. Staff very friendly. Food was excellent - really enjoyed it from start to finish. Several times we asked for recommendations from the waitress and they were spot on. Plan to go back with friends.

Beautiful restaurant My first time coming to Dublin Ireland, chose this restaurant out of the blue, and was not disappointed at all food was amazing, service was excellent and staff very friendly 10/10, atmosphere was very tranquil and peaceful, can’t fault it one bit, food came out to the table promptly, just an absolute great place to eat value for money.

The food is excellent. The staff were under pressure with just two waiting staff with a cluster of bookings at the same time, but they were smiling throughout, very polite and apologetic for any waiting time and accommodating.
