Our waitress Annie was excellent. It was because of her the my visit was perfect
The food was great but the service was very slow and it was so loud we could barely hear each other talk.
First time and it was amazing will be going back. You get what you pay for the steak was perfect! I would also get the tea for two as a drink
The experience welcoming. Kyndra and Shannon were great host .
Great food! The Private Selection event has changed it's process, so the excitement, interaction and fun is definitely now lacking. Bring back Hillary as host.
Quality food that is also delicious! The staff is very friendly.
Food was very very good. Everyone at the table raved about the corn bread. Shrimp & Grits was great. As well as the Brie, Calamari & flatbreads. Only flaw was our server. He seemed very young, inexperienced & mumbled so we had a hard time understanding him.
Food was excellent but a bit pricey as everything was priced A La Carte. They had a buffet that we weren't told about which I'm sure the pricing may have been better. Overall our experience was great!
Service was very, very slow, basic things like bbq sauce for chicken fingers and tartar sauce for crab cakes weren’t available. Extremely limited alternate side options for entrees beyond what is included in entree, not good if you dislike asparagus or mashed potatoes. Very expensive for quality of food and DJ in the bar overpowered the restaurant. Cocktails were decent but overpriced.
The restaurant itself was very nice. A little disappointed in that I had a 7:30 reservation and still had to wait 15 minuted. Service was a tad slow but our server was very pleasant and attentive. Food was delicious. Was overall satisfied with the whole dining experience.
Service was great! Hostess was very nice. Food was really good.
The evening was a huge success. Started out with wine at the bar, then dinner to follow. Service was great. Food was hot. Portions were great. All over it was a wonderful experience.
Had my bday here there was a live singer he was okay the shrimp and grits was phenomenal is could have used a little salt and more seasoning but I liked it anyways I also got the Hong king French toast because I liked the way it looked. I had a very weird taste almost like perfume and also the texture on the inside is wet and it’s literally just wet bread. I wouldn’t get it again.
Everything was very good. Overall, a very nice place. The live music was a nice touch.
Okay for a last minute go to spot. Really need to revamp the menu.
I really enjoyed my stay & food Everything was PERFECT 👌🏼 I shall return
I had Chicken & Waffles, not the best I've had, but satisfies craving. Service was fair, waitress didn't not openly suggest popular menu options.
The food was just ordinary nothing I would want to repeat.
This restaurant was amazing I would definitely go back again with my friends. Not only does it sit inside the Casino it’s downstairs from the Maryland Live Hotel which makes things even easier.
Good food, good service, pleasant setting. I had the filet with a bourbon and my wife enjoyed the salmon with a chocolate martini. We were there at 6pm on a Friday so it wasn't overly crowded or noisy. Overall very nice and we plan to return.
David's restaurant was fantastic New Year's eve...but...we told the server we would be back for braakfast on New Year's day, but she failed to tell us that on new Year's day there was a private party for breakfast...we were VERY disappointed not being able to have breakfast. When we return, we will visit David's again
We made a reservation for dinner on New Year’s Eve. My husband and I were looking forward to a special night and ringing the new year at MD Live. However, when I we arrived we escorted to high top table in the bar area. I asked why were seated in the bar area when there were available tables for two in the main dining room. We were told that those tables were for groups of two or more but there were tables for two. It didn’t make sense to us. I didn’t make more of it but was not very happy. We could have gone anywhere and sat at the bar but that wasn’t what we wanted. We let it go because our server Mia was fantastic. I hope next time we make a reservation at David’s we are given a table in the main dining room.
we made reservations early on New Year's Eve. We arrived at 5:50 for a 6:15 reservation and were seated promptly. Everyone was friendly, although the server seemed a bit unexperienced. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits and i order the lollipop chicken and the Italian flatbread. the food was generally good, although my flatbread was served luke warm. On the hole, the environment was very enjoyable and was a nice place to go in the casino/hotel.
What started off making a negative impression and experience was that the Hostess was clueless when I called to notify that I was running late: stating that my name was not on their system.
When I arrived it turned out that they did have my reservation. Luckily the place wasn’t packed.
Service was excellent. Waiter was knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu that caught my attention. He was right on the recommendations.
The Tuna Poke tacos appetizer was incredible. Not too overly filling. My crispy Thai shrimp was delicious with just the right amount of sweet and heat. More heat could be added by breaking open a Thai chili (around 3-4 added in cooking the dish) that was on the plate. My wife’s steak was extremely salty and overcooked, and had to speak to the manager who resolved the issue and got her another steak: this time done right and was really good.
Atmosphere was very relaxed, only a little loud when the lounge act played. Luckily my wife and I were seated far from the lounge to be able to hear one another.
Will definitely dine here again when I come back to the casino for another upcoming event.
Ordered pancakes that were under cooked and raw in the center.... however everything else was wonderful and service was great!
The food is consistently very good. Love the quiet atmosphere. The service is consistently ... s l o w...
Great ambience with good hospitality. Would like the old menu back with a better dessert menu
We visited David's to celebrate my son's 25th Birthday. At that time a generally busy restaurant was empty. That should have been a red flag. The first issue was that the menu online did not reflect the actual menu in the restaurant. The second issue occurred when four out of the five meals were brought to the table. We were told the last meal (my meal) was on its way. However, people who arrived after us received their meals well before the last meal arrived. In fact, most of our group had finished their meal before the last meal arrived. My husband ordered the crabcake which was not cooked completely through. My daughter ordered the pan "cakes," which were so dry that they crumbled upon touching with a fork. My husband requested to see the manager in order to discuss the issues. When she arrived, she never apologized and said the chef wouldn't send out food unless it was 'perfect.' She said she would check in to the issue and report back to us. That never happened. In fact, she found it more important to sit at the bar and talk with the couple there and to speak with a gentleman that she was friendly with instead. At one point, she looked our way and still never came back to the table to gove an update as to what the issue was our how it would be addressed. Maybe this is why the restaurant was so empty. To say I was disappointed would be putting it mildly.
We had a wonderful waiter, but couldn’t get our food out of the kitchen. We ordered turkey dinner from the website and they didn’t have half the fixings. Someone at our table never got her meal. What we did get was cold. Including the coffee. Tried to get dessert and gave up. It was so bad they gave us our meal. But we had GC from a show pkg, so we still really paid for since we’ll never return. And no, the place wasn’t busy even though they were turning people away saying they were booked.
some food never made it to the table, the food that did make it was cold and some of it was burned, the waiter was very nice but over worked.
It was great!
This is one of my favorite restaurants.
Considering there was a concert going on and Restaurant was very crowded food came out in appropriate amount of time service was good I have no complaints
Very nice atmosphere, good food and friendly service. On our particular outing, the delivery of the appetizers was late. Other than that, things were great.
The atmosphere, food and service were very good. It was our first time and we definitely will return
Our server Christine was awesome. Friendly, personable and knowledgeable. We had the pleasure of her being our server for dinner and then breakfast the next morning. Someone must have made an error that she was oputut on the schedule for the early breakfast shift. But, she was as pleasant as can be. I would highly recommend David's and more so to request Christine as their server. Thank you Christine.
I would prefer the tables be spaced further apart. The noise level was pretty high. It was hard to have a conversation as we were seated in the middle of 2 large parties.
The food was pretty good. One downside was with the fries. I had the seafood combo platter. The fries were too salty and not very tasty. Not really a date night restaurant.
Dinner yes, lunch the following Monday was a disaster.
This time was much better than last time. Service and food was improved. Restaurant was empty though and I think it should be rebranded as more of an all-purpose coffee shop with more casual fare. In Atlantic City, the coffee shop is always crowded. At Live you already have fine dining, a deli, a burger place and Cheesecake Factory. A place with BLT's, grilled cheese sandwiches, lots of breakfast items, etc. would be more popular in my opinion.
Service was slow. It took too long to be seated and then too long for our waitress to come to our table. Food was excellent
