This was our first visit to De Baga and I would strongly recommend it. The food is excellent, service is prompt and the ambience is unfussy and friendly. The range of dishes is different from your typical Indian and provides a real change. We will be going back,

Really great value for money. Main menu items are very cheap, most under £10. The portion sizes are not huge so you might want to order an extra dish or two for larger parties.

Regional Goa cooking, authentic experience compared with many curry establishments that serve heavy cream or ghee laden dishes with over extended menus. Service was efficient and it felt genuinely friendly. Our new favourite!

Great food , buzzing atmosphere and attentive service . Could actually forget about Covid - sensible precautions but not OTT like some places . The menu is not extensive but doesn’t need to be and the food is delicious and different in a good way . Would definitely recommend

De Baga has a good atmosphere and pleasant, helpful staff. The food is good. The menu isn't huge. . . but you can't eat more than one meal at a time, anyway.

This was our visit since lockdown. It was good to be back. A friendly restaurant that feels "local". the food was, as always, excellent. Tasting freshly cooked and nicely spiced.
The Sev Puri were lovely. not too spiced for my wife's palate and slightly sweet.
The Prawn Caldin and the Mutton Curry were similarly excellent.
The poppadums to start tradition and the naan bread soft ad freshly made.
