My husband ordered the stroganoff and it took an hour for our server to let us know there wasn’t anymore. So then he had to re-order and ours had to get remade and it took a long time. Seems like they would have known a lot earlier that something was out. Since they were bought by Landry’s the food quality and service has declined.
Over cooked everything

We attended an event downtown and we’re looking for a late-night dinner afterwards. It was close to closing time, but we never felt rushed in any way. The food was excellent and service outstanding.
There was a strong, fairly cool breeze blowing on us.
Server was nice, but seemed unsure of himself and his inexperience was telling. Food was good as ever.
Our waiter was amazing and the food was even better. 10/10 would recommend. Definitely coming back.
The Cesar salad lacked flavor. Lacking the anchovy and garlic flavor, and was not crisp like you would expect a fine dining salad to be. The steaks were overcooked (very well done when ordered medium) and the side dishes were slightly warm and not hot. We had to send our steaks back which took another 20 minutes to prepare. Dinner was very disappointing for this type of restaurant given the reputation Del Frisco's Grill has had in the past. Service overall was no better than your typical chain steakhouse like Outback or Texas Roadhouse. It was a very disappointing experience for our 25th anniversary dinner.

Reservation made and got seated 30 minutes late. Service was extremely slow. Ribeye was 2/3 fat and grizzle. My wife’s filet was good. Based on prices charged,service and quality of food should be much better. Nice view of Christmas tree if outside dining! Very loud though. Not the best dining experience for our first time in Fort Worth! Maybe we are just used to better quality food and service in our home town!

My daughter called and said she was going to fly in from Seattle to take me out for dinner on my 70th birthday. She asked me to pick a restaurant, so I picked Del Frisco's Grille. Why? Well, Mrs. S. and I had been there for lunch over the last 3 years and enjoyed it. Even more, it is on Sundance Square and I knew the Christmas lights would be on display.
We arrived early for our reservation and sat at the bar. Zak was our bartender and he was great! Funny and very personable. When our table was ready, we were led upstairs to a table by the window with a fabulous view of the Square. It was perfect. And other than our server, it was the about the last thing that was perfect.
Anna was excellent! She was friendly, helpful, and very professional. We loved her! The appetizers were good. We enjoyed the Cheesesteak Eggrolls. The Caesar salad was a good, basic Caesar salad comparable to one you get in a bag at the grocery store. Mrs. S. and I both ordered the Prime Beef Short Rib Stroganoff and my daughter ordered the Prime Ribeye.
The flavors of the Stroganoff were very good. Sadly, both servings were just the warm side of cold with the meat being barely warm. It was very disappointing. For my daughter, it was even worse. She ordered her Ribeye medium well - not the way I'd do it, but I digress. It was served rare. And I mean rare. I can eat and enjoy a rare steak, but I wouldn't have tried this one. We sent it back. It was returned to the table just as my wife and I were finishing our meal. Part of it was completely well done. The other part was still about medium rare. It was terrible. She picked at it, but the biggest beneficiaries were our dogs. By the way, we also had The Prisoner Saldo Zinfandel and it was fine, though the markup was pretty high.
Did I complain? No. I shouldn't have to - I don't want a discount, I want it to be right. We may go back for lunch in the future, but I'll never again trust them for dinner.
We reserved a large group table (20 guests) and had a phenomenal experience. Our server was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the experience as a whole was above par. The caramel pot de crème was the best dessert I've ever had period.
Was great for a family reunion right next to the Christmas tree on the square.
Everything was pretty good the food tasted amazing and the service was good as well. Overall I would return, there is just not a “wow” factor. It’s a good, solid option for American fare, just don’t expect the same level of service or food that you get at the Double Eagle Steakhouse.
For a $400 meal we could have reproduced at home; the scallops had no flavor and the other items were mediocre at best. Someone had given us a gift card and decided to enjoy it to start the holidays—I was reminded of why I wish Bird Cafe was still in Sundance Square.
What a wonderful dining experience! We sat on the patio next to the Sundance square Christmas tree with live music. The food and ambiance are just the best.
I’m not sure if its because it was the Holiday menu or not, but our food was cold and that was not very cool especially for a $100 plate ON THANKSGIVING. Other than an initial dust-up, staff was great and accommodating, the steaks were super but those sides left a whole lot to be desired.
It took us 15 minutes to be seated and they weren’t busy or appetizer had a piece of plastic in it our waitress never came back to check on us and never refilled our drinks Thanksgiving meal was mediocre at best
Made reservations for inside . Got sat by the door with the wind blowing the cold air inside. Hostest that sat us down made a comment as how the door was an inconvenience but sat us anyways. Filet Mignon was great.. sweet potatoes were cold.
Three of us had Thanksgiving dinner, two turkey plates and one filet. The turkey was dry, the filet was ordered medium rare and arrived medium to well done. The mashed potatoes were dry and without taste. Going to Del Frisco's used to be a wonderful experience and their food and service was second to none. I'm not sure what Landry's goal is for the Del Frisco's chain, but they've succeeded in providing a Walmart dining experience for Neiman Marcus prices. Never again.
Had a large group of 14 for Thanksgiving. Everybody ordered what they wanted. The steaks were bad, the Thanksgiving food was awful. Maybe on a normal day the food would have been better. They kept saying let me check with the Chef. What Chef? The food was awful. Expensive and awful!!! It took 15 minutes to get served a beer. Ordered a Coffee after dinner and it was cold it took so long to be served. Anyway, the drinks and deserts were good. Everything else tasted terrible. I mean really bad. I was visiting from South Florida for my daughter's wedding so maybe I'm spoiled living in Florida with many excellent restaurants to choose from. I was really disappointed. I was expecting much better. I think Colburn's cafeteria could have done better with the Thanksgiving food. The only thing that was OK was the cranberry sauce that I think came out of a can. Anyway, maybe Del Friscos Steakhouse is better.
We dined on Thanksgiving and were not certain what to expect. The menu included not only the traditional turkey meal but other ala carte items. My wife ordered a steak which she stated was the best she's ever had.
Exceptional meal and wonderful service. I'd recommend Del Friscos any time of the year.
We decided for the first time to celebrate thanksgiving at a restaurant. We chose Del Frisco’s Grille. The ambiance was fine as usual. Very lively environment. Food was average at best. I asked for sweet potato fries because it was offered with another meal, but said I would settle for sweet potato casserole if they couldn’t offer the fries. Casserole came out with no explanation. To make matters worse, the casserole was VERY dry and tasteless. My wife and younger son ordered the Turkey meal. It was okay but the portion size was very small given the price. My older son and I ordered the fillet and both were very good. We also ordered the Mac and cheese and the garlic flavor was overpowering. The pumpkin cheesecake was horrible, seemed more like a pile of whipped cream. Service was horrible. We had to wait excessively long for our 2nd drinks and our waitress was not very attentive. Lastly, the light bulb from the light fixture above our table landed on our table and part of the glass shattered on the table. We understand sh*t happens. But when we brought the matter up to our server it didn’t get the reaction one would expect. No concern for the glass on the table, not even an offer to wipe it down. We had to ask for replacement waters ourselves because the glass shattered in small fragments on the table and we were concerned it could have gotten into our drinks. This request seemed to annoy our server. I am never looking for a free meal, but the least someone, anyone, could of done is acknowledge the incident.
I was impressed enough that we will be going back. My grandson had a steak he completely devoured and he is only 12. Everyone loved it.
Shockingly bad Thanksgiving prix fixe. Flavorless and dry turkey, school cafeteria-quality sides. I have no idea how Del Friscos allows its proud name to be attached to such mediocrity.

We were a table of 13, so I am trying to give a little grace; but when you order a filet rare and it comes out medium well, you send it back and they bring it back on a dessert plate; it just looks cheap and like they were in a hurry. The crab stuffed shrimp was cool, but tasted excellent. The sirloins were a little tougher than expected. The desserts were excellent as always.
Our server was fantastic. She left us alone to visit and was attentive when needed.
The food itself needs work. At over a thousand dollars for food and drink for us, it should be close to perfect in every way.
We had 5pm reservations before a 6:30 Bass Hall performance. The Parade of Lights parade was the same evening and the restaurant was completely unprepared for the influx of diners. They were still seating 4:30 reservations at 5pm. We were seated at 5:20 and chose quick entrees and our waitress was amazing and got the food to us in plenty of time and dropped the bill with our food. The entire staff that we interacted with were professional and courteous under a stressful situation not of their doing. Management should have been better prepared knowing there were multiple events happening in downtown and maybe should have been reservation only for the night. Our experience will not deter us from dining here in the future.
We had a reservation for 4:45 because we were going to the theater. We were not seated till 5:15 and had to flag down a wait person. They were nice and the food was good but we had to hurry thru dinner to leave. Overall a really poor experience. This is not the only time we’ve had problems with reservations. They seem to book too many people.
Very slow service
We had a very early reservation two hours before our show at the Bass. Was seated almost 30 minutes late and then the table service was also slow.
We barely made it to the show on time.
Food was only average as well. Expected more from the Del Frisco brand.
My wife and I would frequent this place pre-pandemic and it was always a great experience. However, one can tell that the quality of food and service has taken a severe hit during the pandemic. Despite us telling our waiter when he first arrived that we have to leave by a certain time, our food arrived very late and it was cold when it got to us. Also, we tried to order dessert with a port wine and by the time the drinks arrived we had already finished dessert and had to leave due to us being late for a show at Bass Hall. I instructed the waiter to take the drinks back and remove them from our bill because we had to leave. I’m hopeful that Del Frisco’s can get back to their pre-pandemic level of service soon, but I would steer clear of this place for now as there are better choices for fine dining downtown. I have never paid so much for such poor food and service in my life.
Fantastic food, drinks and atmosphere!!! Steaks were cooked perfectly, wedge salad is a generous portion, and the Truffle Mac n Chz is amazing! We were upstairs and had a beautiful view of the Sundance Square Christmas Tree.

Food was great and the presentation was awesome. Our waiter was very attentive. The manager came to our table to check on us, love that we were felt like we were appreciative for dining at Del Frisco Grille. Chase thank you for great service!
We didn’t have the best experience…our waitress was pretty inattentive and my food had to be remade. Pretty disappointed in a place that I usually love!
We arrived for our reservation, checked in and then waited in the corridor along with 20 other people. The 4 stewardesses kept checking people in without seating anyone. We all stood there looking at all the empty tables with the waitresses looking back at us-almost comical. Finally, seated and we’re asked for our drink orders. My wife asked for a French martini and the waitress responded “never heard of that I’ll have to look it up”. She then asked if we wanted appetizers even though we ordered them with our cocktails. Dinner was good, but not spectacular. We had tickets for the theater, but our waitress was no where to be found. She came back with dessert and we gave her credit cards and said we need the check as it was getting late. We ate dessert and just sat there waiting! Finally, we flagged down the manager and told him our waitress has been walking around with our credit card for 10 minutes and we needed to go. Finally got the check. I know we’re supposed to be patient with Covid and scarce help, but there must be some minimum service to be expected if they are going to charge “full price” for half price service. We won’t be back.
This used to be our go to place, but everything is smaller and the service is much less too. The vegetables were overcooked. This used to be worth your $200 date night. It's time to find a new spot. Don't blame it on the pandemic.
Wait person was excellent. Corn bisque was very good. The salad was good except the bacon was really tough.
