Del Frisco's Grille - Philadelphia
Server was great !
Server did not bring my wedge salad. Server was slow.
Everything was great. Service and food were excellent. Great wine recommendation by sommelier
Everything was delicious
Six of us went for some drinks and apps. Everything was delicious, soups, flatbreads, salads and even the burgers! I know you go for a good steak, but everything was delicious and Frankie our server was awesome. We loved her!!
Always a great dining experience. The one room near the kitchen is very loud though.
All good only problem is that it was freezing in the restaurant. Could not take jackets off .....
It was a nice change of pace. Drink menu was nice, service was good. We sent back the Mediterranean shrimp because it was too salty for our tastes but the branzino was fantastic!
Crab cakes were delicious. Pricey, but delicious. Service terrific.
Not many places for Brunch near Academy of Music but we tried Del Frisco's for the first time. Does not have an extensive menu and is not exactly cheap but portions are good size and tasty. Especially try the Mimosa carafe (better value). Also have lunch menu available at the same time.
Amazing! Great service! Amazing food and wonderful ambiance!
Food came out cold or lukewarm and was way over priced for the quality. Sat by a window near the door and it was very cold at our seats. Manager would also not let us use reward points validly earned and converted to their new system.
The service was absolutely terrible. We ordered soup as one person's entree. They apparently ran out of the soup but the waitress never even told us until all the entrees arrived and I asked where the soup was. We never received bread we requested. The check came and there were numerous items on the check that we did not order at our table.
We went on a Saturday night for dinner, and it felt like it was staffed for a Tuesday afternoon. We checked in and then waited over 20 minutes to be seated. The hostess kept saying that "other diners were just finishing up" but plenty of other tables were seated while we were waiting. Once we sat down, our server took a while to get to us. She was lovely and clearly overworked, but she took our order and then we waited some more. When the food came out, my husband's steak frites came without any fries! That's literally in the title of the dish! When we asked our server, she explained there must have been a mix up, but we were already basically done with our meals by the time she offered if he wanted those fries still. Either they need to staff up or get it together in some way, but I doubt we'll be back.
Unfortunately far too noisy for my taste. Just screaming everywhere without any noise dampening wall panels. Service was pleasant and friendly, with multiple apologies for all the noise. Corn soup was bland, filet Oscar was ok, but not worth the cost compared to other local steak restaurants. Hoping this was an off night for them, but I won't be back.
We enjoyed dinner here after seeing Shen Yun. They kindly took us 45 minutes prior to our reservation. Our waitress was attentive through our entire meal, the food was delicious and the ambiance inside was lovely.
There are lots of favorite dishes to choose from, some brand new! I love the decor and atmosphere there.
I had the bbq shrimp cobb salad. I wouldn't think to put corn and sunflower seeds on a cobb salad, but ok. The bbq on the shrimp was a bit too salty.
Service and food consistently very good
Service was very slow - waited 45 in to an hour for our entrees. Were told kitchen was backed up. We had two children in our party and were offered bread for the table and received a roll and some butter for 6 people.
We waited over 1 hour for our food and then waited over 30 minutes for the check
Would NEVER return to this location. The food was disgusting, no flavor, ice cold, sent back 2 times. The drinks are water down. The service was mediocre, dirty napkins, no bread came out, for the expensive bill only 2 people it was horrible, was not worth $150, I will never return to this location again if someone treated me. Take some pointers from the main location at 15th Chestnut.
While Del Frisco’s Grille was beautiful and the appetizers were outstanding, there were a few things that have me second guessing if I’ll return. Firstly, there was glass in my drink which luckily I didn’t swallow. Next, my significant others glass was filthy (unsure how the waiter didn’t notice) and my brother had a glob of paper in his drink. While the manager was apologetic, it still didn’t take away the fact these things took place. Also, the food was just ok in my opinion. The truffle Mac & cheese was salty and the steak had too much pepper.
We arrived at our reservation time, @5:45 / pre Theater , we were not given our requested table and location ( in the back a quiet booth for 4) “ oh that’s set up for 5” said the hostess, service was slow/terrible, 2 meals arrived late and cold , to late to reorder or re heat. Manager apologized, but did nothing.. should have taken cold meals off the bill . Had to search out the waiter to pay bill... no time for desert or coffee.. had to run 5 blocks to the theater . We had dined here 3 times in past without problems , Noise level is
A real problem in this place, can hardly have a conversation..
Experience was great. Good environment and food. Our waitress was very attentive and provided exceptional service. Would recommend.
Excellent dinner. Service was great. Beautiful location.
Food was good but waitress brought out the wrong orders for three of the five orders. The vegetarian meal came out with fish and the wrong Belgian waffles were ordered. Very disappointing.
I’ve been here multiple times! I usually have a great experience here, but after watching a show at the Merriam Theater, I made a reservation for my party to come eat after the show. As we were walking in, along with other people from the show, you could see the back of the house staff, the wait staff, everyone, get so annoyed, as if our presence was an inconvenience to them. Which, I really didn’t understand, I’m sure this is not the first time they have had customers walk in late, after a show especially, since the restaurant is located across the street, and we weren’t even walk-ins, we actually made a reservation.
Our waiter, was no different, he seemed annoyed, and he definitely forgot to put in a couple different things we ordered. The food was ran to us, three items were missing and we had to remind him what they were, even though he wrote them all down, so, that was a little confusing. Then, when we wanted to leave (which I’m sure was what they wanted us to do) we couldn’t find the waiter, people were sweeping around us, mind you there were 6 other tables around me with customers.
This recent experience really put a bad taste in my mouth, which is unfortunate because I dine here a lot, and I always recommend my friends and family to come here. I hope the managers and shift leaders take into initiative where they are located and that after shows there is a chance they will get customers around 10 PM... I mean your on the same strip as like 5 theaters...
So yeah, if you want to go here and eat, do so early or you’ll get the attitude and partial service.
We had a nice quieter table in the back room. The bar area and main area are quite loud, so this was a welcomed change. I will have to remember to request it next time, although I only think it’s available when there is a show at the Academy of Musiic or a busy weekend.
The corn bisque was excellent. My entree, Mediterranean shrimp was also quite good, and my husband’s rib eye steak was just as he likes it. Service was just fine.
The problem arose when gnats or some type of small flying insect were constantly flying around our table and food. When one landed in my husband’s wine he wouldn’t finish it. He did not ask for a replacement because he drank most of it but I’m sure they would have replaced it. I guess a few warm days In February was the cause but it still made for a less than stellar dining experience.
It's always difficult to decide what I want to eat - the menu is so diverse and everything sounds delicious! It's a wonderful venue for pre-theatre meals.
Waitress Frankie was excellent and pleasant. I was dining alone but never felt uncomfortable. Food excellent as always, this was not my first visit. Please never remove the artichoke beignets from menu. seated at a perfect small table, everything was wonderful, and I was checked on by more than one floor manager and had a perfect pre theater dinner
Great dinner and very friendly staff!
Always come with grand baby and carriage. This time she tried to put us by the bar and then in middle of room. Ruins it for everyone if he gets antsy. Have nice corner booth way in back that always works. Not this time she didn’t get it. Spot was still empty when we left. Don’t want to ruin for neighbors and can’t stop him from getting a bit Ansy either. Common sense !
The food and the service was very good, a little pricey, but overall a very good experience.
We waited over an hour and never received our entrees. The managers were no help whatsoever. We will never go theresgain
Julia our server was extremely pleasant and attentive. The food was excellent. Our table was perfect. The noise level was acceptable we could hear each other talk. One of our favorite restaurants.
The food and drinks were very good. The truffle Mac and cheese was beyond AMAZING. Our waitress Nanda was very sweet, attentive and energetic. My reservation was for 9 but I came at 8:30 and was seated right away. I can’t wait to go back.
Chase was a great waiter. He gave us great recommendations, and steered us away from some items that he didn't particularly like. The food was delicious as well as the atmosphere. They also had TVs in so I could catch a few glimpses of the NBA All Star Saturday contests. We had a great time. The cheesesteak rolls were delicious.
Be careful that you get the right Del Friscos. We went to the other one on Chestnut first and were late for our reservation.
Food was good; pricing was ok--service a little slow. Bar was crowded, with people standing 2 deep. Noise coming from the bar was inappropriate--and not conducive to a nice, fairly quiet dinner. Some noise is acceptable due to the fact that there is a bar in the middle of the place--but people were screaming and talking over each other, making the noise level really high.
