The mum and family chef, Limor, regularly used turkey meat for its amazing nutritional properties. Thus Delamina EAST was born, initially as a pop-up at Shoreditch House called Strut & Cluck, showcasing her turkey and vegetarian recipes with an eastern Mediterranean twist.
Our restaurant in Shoreditch soon followed, where we serve dishes inspired by our home cooking using seasonal local ingredients and ethically raised & sourced produce from land and sea.
Great food and atmosphere.
Enjoy birthday celebration
Will be back !!
Everything perfect. Amazing and cozy restaurant
The food here is absolutely delicious! We went for a business lunch and it was actually rather enjoyable sharing all the food. The tables are a bit small for all the food but it's the least of your worries once you take the first bite.
Greeted warmly, food was delish!!! Friendly service!
Second time I've been here, this is an incredible restaurant in East London, definitely worth a visit. I've yet to have the meat menu yet as the Land menu is so delicious.
The cauliflower is delicious and is a firm fave amongst me and my friends.
The portion sizes are just right for sharing - order between 2-3 per person
Overall, well worth the money. For what you get and the flavours on offer, you will not be disappointed!
Chilled out restaurant, lovely staff and if you don’t go for anything else have the cheesecake for dessert
The food, place and service is totally amazing! I would recommend Delamina to anyone!!
Very tasty food laid back and friendly atmosphere, would go back again
Great food and drinks. Really lovely service. Loved the decor too.
Great location, brunch was fantastic (loved the crispy kale & paprika hollandaise sauce on the Benedict)
Service was good... A great cup of English tea.
Delicious assortment of tapas type food, with vegan/vegetarian options, good service but expensive food/drink and can be noisy as tables a bit close together - a great place for groups.
The food is great but the staff was too insisting on us leaving the table on time. We still had some time and they kept telling us to leave which wasn’t very enjoyable at all
Delicious food, good meal options on the menu, nice friendly service. Highly recommending the restaurant
Eating at Delamina is an absolute joy - a joy to the senses and a joy to the soul. From the friendly welcome to the delivery of the bill, it is a near-perfect dining experience. Going way back to the time when the restaurant was unfortunately called Strut and Cluck, the lovely husband and wife owners have instilled their unique sense of fun, convivial charm and mouth-wateringly distinctive food in this their first restaurant. I love the restaurant and everything about it. EXCEPT the noise level at times which somehow seems at odds with the otherwise peaceful, laid-back pastoral feel and ambience of the actual restaurant. I consider myself extremely lucky, because Delamina East is right next door to where I live in Spitalfields!
We order starters and mains, 2 of them the day's special. We were at the restaurant at 1pm, and it seemed the special was out so our waiter came to give us the bad news. We then ordered an alternative main. This already made us a bit unsatisfied as the restaurant wasnt packed at all and how could they be out of the daily special at 1pm!
Suddenly, One of the mains came 1st thing before starters and it was cold when a steak should be served hot. It seemed as if it was a main from another table that they didnt want after all so they just brough it to us. The starters came around 10mnts later so the steak was then as if it was taken out of the fridge so we asked them to change it. The stake came back again before everyone's mains so I had to start eating on my own. This time is was lukewarm but still not as it should be, dry, overcooked, they never asked me either how I would like it to be. By the time everyones mains were on the table i was done so had to watch them all eat.
Food was okay, presentation is better than the actual taste. The Avocado salad has way too much lemon and the lamb kofta could be better.
Overall, not really worthy!!
Our party of six had a lovely evening at Delamina East. We had a Vegetarian and a Coeliac in our party and both were well catered for. We loved all the Earth dishes, but weren't so keen on the Land dishes. The was very, very cinnamony and the chicken oddly sweet. The desserts were amazing though, and three of the four options were gluten free - an amazing chocolate brownie, an absolutely divine date and pistachio cake and a fruit crumble. The only downside was the portion were quite small for the price so it turned out an expensive evening, but that the price you pay in the area I suppose.
Lovely and interesting food...relaxed, friendly and attractive ambience...congenial, helpful, attentive and overall brilliant waiters and staff...a total joy on a cold Sunday pre-Christmas afternoon. I have not eaten there since its Strut and Cluck days, but will return to Delamina very soon. It really was an above average eating experience.
Really can’t recommend enough. Amazing food, incredibly nice and helpful service. Very cool atmosphere and space too.
Such a warm and friendly team and great food and service
Amazing food - fantastic vegetarian options!!!!!!!
Lovely interiors and relaxing environment. A different offering than other brunch options in the area. Enjoyed the food
absolutely great food and drinks choices! Nice and easy location.
My first visit and we were all impressed and would go back. The food is outstanding, the service friendly and attentive...and the atmosphere is great.
Excellent food, inventive, full of flavour and varied textures. Particularly good for veggies, but the meat eaters were very happy too. Lovely surroundings, simple and homely but not kitsch. It does get a little noisy as it's small and some of the customers the night we were in were not the type to moderate their voices out of respect for others - but a minor point, not within Delamina's control, and we will definitely be back (in fact my third visit and everyone I've taken here has loved it).
Amazing atmosphere, delicious food but really tight space, not really comfortable
Delicious food and wonderful service, I look forward to eating there again!
Visited the place with some friends and we had a great time. The food was delicious and the portions good. One of my friends has a nut allergy but the staff made sure there is no trace of nuts in our food. Overall a really nice place to dine and would highly recommend.
Great small plates, lovely staff, buzzy ambience in evening
We shared a selection of small plates and never made it to the large plates. Everything was very tasty and freshly cooked, well spiced but not too spicy. Great Veggie options. We asked for one dish without chorizo but it was served with meat, it was immediately taken back and replaced when we mentioned it and never appeared on the bill. Wine was good and reasonably priced. We forced ourselves to have dessert. Service was good and the food came quickly but in two stages so as not too overload the table. Generally a young crowd around Spitalfields all out for a fun evening.
Great little space serving Middle East inspired dishes full of fantastic flavours. Textures, smells, taste and presentation of food are all great.
Celebrating a birthday. Given a corner table and birthday dessert with candle, very much appreciated! This is one of my favourite restaurants in London at the moment.
Fantastic brunch !
The place is small and buzzing, we were excited to taste the food. The starters were nice. Then unfortunately the mains were not that great. Apart from the whole seabream which was good, the monkfish dish initially came with just 2 very small pieces of monkfish (sharing our dishes with in total 4 people). We did send it back and when we got the new plate there were four small pieces of monkfish, however it was very dry so not nice at all. So we send it back again. The good thing is they took it off the bill.
The other main was the special which was sirloin steak. Not much steak and a whole lot of vegetables. So wouldn’t really recommend or come back
Great restaurant with exciting menu.
Nice place and good food. A bit more expensive that it should but still ok. Very loud for brunch. Nice staff.
Food is outstanding - especially great if you're vegetarian.
The food was amazing and great value for money so would definitely return. The service was also really fast and attentive. However the place is quite noisy which ruins the ambiance slightly and drinks were quite expensive.
Good food. On the rich/complex side of things but tasty nonetheless.
Almost perfect but one of our party had a salad which was sadly drenched in dressing. Otherwise we really enjoyed the evening.
Food was incredible.
Service was excellent.
Coffee was delicious.
Started off loud in there but it was very busy at that point and quieted down after 20 mins or so.
Will be visiting again and recommending to everyone.
