Limor is the driving force behind the menu, drawing on her eclectic heritage — she was born in Tel Aviv to a family of Russian and Iranian origins — and inspired by her father, a passionate cook who exposed her to the myriad flavours, herbs and spices of the region. Limor’s recipes are influenced by her interest in healthy eating – grilling, roasting and using herbs and spices to celebrate the raw ingredients, including many vegetarian dishes. Her self-taught and intuitive approach results in dishes that are wholesome, healthy and with a unique flavour combination.
The food is accompanied by a drinks list that includes exciting wines from the Eastern Mediterranean, alongside house cocktails that incorporate the same aromatic herbs & spices used in the kitchen.
Visited Delamina for third time this week - all good but the cauliflower was cold and had been cooked for some time - this was disappointing as it is one of the best options on the Meze list.
Delicious refined food as usual
And impeccable service
Food is absolutely great, but I felt the decor was very rustic - which is fine in general, but tables were too close
I booked a table but we were seated downstairs, not very nice, very noisy with the fans of the kitchen and the music. The writer very kindly tried to lower the fans but overall it was not nice. Upstairs is the place to be.
Great food, buzzy atmosphere and very friendly staff. We went at lunchtime and it was very busy. Starters were quick to arrive (jerusalem artichoke - delicious, roast cauliflower - surprisingly tasty and a middle-eastern pizza style plate - wonderful). Main courses took a lot longer, but when they eventually came, food was really good. My cousin had the poussin, and loved it. I had the shwarma - open rather than rolled, and a little spicy (which I love). All in all, great place for lunch, despite the slightly iffy service.
Amazing food and nice as service. Book in advance!
food was severely overcooked - it seemed everything was precooked and then heated apart from our cauliflower which should have been hot but was over cooked and stone cold - they took it back and brought it back hot 5 minutes later having shoved it back in their oven. A large cauliflower wasnt that large - I woudl actually say on the small to medium size and cost £14!!! The small salad mexe dishes were incredibly poor value at £3.5 each about 3 spoon fulls! GREEN SHAKSHUKA was totaly overcooked. Service was very slow - kept trying to catch the eye of the waitresses but they were busy chatting to one another.
The concept is nicebut not well enough executed. When they opened quality was much better though portions still too small- feel ripped off as quality and quantity of food doent match prices charges.
Sunday brunch was great, beautiful environment and staff were all friendly.
Very good food, different plates to share for veg. Service was slow at times and bit crowded.
We will definitely go back, next time in the area. really enjoyed Delamina!
Amazing middle-eastern food, turkey shawarma is delicious.
Brilliant food and service. Would highly recommend!
Excellent food and cocktails. Very well looked after by the staff
Keep returning to Delamina as it’s perfect spot for la delicious lunch. Usually just order selection of starters to share, always leave room for dessert and don’t miss their exceptional take on cheesecake - amazing!
Fabulous tasty food, nice ambience, I recommend the tuna!
Food was excellent and the manager pleasant when I arrived. However, throughout the night the service got worse. Asked for water 3x, once to a gentleman server who went to the water station and helped himself to a glass of water himself and forgetting to get back to us. Also immigration police entered which was stranger still and perhaps this distracted the staff. I had guests from out of town and was embarrassed I took them to a place where service was so poor.
We enjoyed a delicious Israeli brunch at Delamina. The Jaffa plate with poached eggs, flatbread, and lots of delicious dipping pots was superb.
this was our second time at Delamina. we took our friends who had not been there. we all had a wonderful time at Delamina. the food was good as well as the service. they have very good choice for vegetarians.
Sammy and Mazda looked after us very well. thank you.
Very interesting menu and food choices. All of it was lovely. Also very good and friendly service.
We were delighted that Delamina were able to fit us in on a busy lunchtime. Great seasonal food, delicious combinations, good wine, caring and solicitous staff. Just off Wigmore Street, so good for people watching as well. We will definitely return.
Great food, really nice staff, and a real neighbourhood location.
The most delicious food ! The combination of flavours and ingredients is sublime - sharing small plates lets you enjoy so many things . If you are vegetarian or not the vegetable dishes are stunning- the cauliflower being my favourite
Delamina was brilliant for my 30th birthday !!! .
Wonderful dining experience!!! Fantastic food and always great service!
Food is great quality, taste and out of the ordinary. Highly recommend. The service is a bit chilled which fits in with the concept but is slow at times, but the food makes up for it all. Also very nice ambiance!
Very interesting menu and food was delicious: great flavours and well executed. Service was nice but a bit slow, although it was clearly a very busy lunchtime. Highly recommended.
Delamina continues to be as fab as our first visit. Food is SO delicious, staff very friendly and efficient. The menu really does offer something for everyone and nothing is too much trouble insofar as food intolerances or allergies are concerned. Staff go the extra mile to make your dining experience as good as possible. The cauliflower is truly delicious but I wouldn't wish to pick out one dish over the others as everything we tasted was so good. The flavours all meld beautifully together and you feel as though you are eating a healthy, tasty and filling meal. Thank you - we will be back!
We took friends from Holland who were staying with us and they are eaten there way round London over the weekend.
They loved it. The food was delicious and we shared the starters which were decent size and enough for us all. We chose 5 - couldn’t decide. I had the tuna and it was prepared very well. All the food presentation was fabulous.
Buzzy atmosphere and we unexpectedly saw fiends there as well.
Most amazing staff and delicious food, we will be back and a great restaurant to celebrate a birthday!
Lovely decor and very good food. Shame about the service. Our waiter was rude and ruined what would have otherwise been a really pleasant dining experience. Also, what appears to be free tap water actually costs £1.
Amazingly tasty dishes, brilliant service and a lively atmosphere; ideal location for a night out with friends. Nice to go to a restaurant where vegetables take centre-stage - a vegetarian’s food heaven. Will definitely return!
It was a lovely place to catch up with friends , great food and ambience
Excellent food. Service mediocre. Would go again. Noise levels terrible
cozy atmosphere and nice flavours !
creative and delicious food. i've already made my next booking:)
Went to this place for the first time for a meal out with my wife .
The restaurant is quite small and cosy
Lighting was quite bright
Service was very speedy
Food was ok but nothing really wow
Service was appalling !
Wonderfully eclectic, delicious and scrumptious food. Lovely staff, perfect!
I have been a number of times and we took friends who absolutely loved the food. May daughter came and she has many allergies but the waitress was fantastic in going through what was safe for her to eat they couldn't do enough to help and this was very much appreciated as it can be very difficult when going to restaurants and can be a very unpleasant experience. Thank you we will be back.
Great spot. Lovely food. Small dishes, but great portions. Delicious vegtables.
