Limor is the driving force behind the menu, drawing on her eclectic heritage — she was born in Tel Aviv to a family of Russian and Iranian origins — and inspired by her father, a passionate cook who exposed her to the myriad flavours, herbs and spices of the region. Limor’s recipes are influenced by her interest in healthy eating – grilling, roasting and using herbs and spices to celebrate the raw ingredients, including many vegetarian dishes. Her self-taught and intuitive approach results in dishes that are wholesome, healthy and with a unique flavour combination.
The food is accompanied by a drinks list that includes exciting wines from the Eastern Mediterranean, alongside house cocktails that incorporate the same aromatic herbs & spices used in the kitchen.
Great find just north of Oxford Circus. On a Tuesday lunchtime it was busy but with a calm atmosphere not noise either!
My friend and I shared two of the tasty appetisers and then shared a main - great portions and for the quality price was good too. Highly recommend but you’d better book! Staff were all friendly professional and helpful
The food was delicious, absolutely outstanding. Everyone was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I loved the relaxed surroundings which is something you don't often get with food of this standard. A real find.
Great! Perfect lunch with my family
Great brunch spot with excellent gluten and dairy free options!
Amazing food! And thank you for the birthday surprise, we loved the cheesecake thing, it was so delicious
Utterly fab as usual. Great food, super service and gorgeous wine
it was a lovely experience and i will recommend it to others.
Always top quality food and service
The food was delicious especially the cauliflower. Both my friend and I are gluten free and nothing was too much to ensure we enjoyed our visit and were able to eat as much as possible on the menu. Items were omitted where possible and the overall experience was one of culinary delight with excellent, attentive service.
Delicious food and excellent ambience and service. We’ll definitely be back!
Food was good but Would have liked more reasonably priced options in mains, eg the poussin @ £17 was too expensive and perhaps meant for sharing but I was with a vegetarian friend. Some grilled chicken breast or thigh would be better. The cauliflower was delicious but the medium portion was enormous! Can't imagine the amount for the large portion. The eggs in the shakshouka were completely dried out (no runny yolk) and the sauce a bit over cooked. A good addition to the area and would go again but being critical, some aspects need improvement.
Relaxed casual excellent service
Interesting food, mostly excellent. The gf chocolate pudding was a bit disappointing, but all else was great, including the Adam and Eve cocktails!
A really great food experience. Tel Aviv-like flavors with some pleasant surprises. Cute decor inside, service was attentive and made great recommendations. Every choice she recommended was spot on. Can't wait to go back!
Second visit. Six months ago food was much more vibrant. The menu now is pretty much the same. Got a stale feel to it now. Wine Albariño was decent but expensive as a glass is only 125ml. The list does not state glass or carafe size and the waitress didn’t really know!
We won’t return as our bill of £94 with two glasses of wine seemed poor value.
great to have an offering providing a slightly different take on food combinations and flavours;
good food and good service.
Great choice of delicious food for three friends sharing- great veggie options. Will definitely go back to try the ones we couldn’t manage this time
Went for a dinner with friends and absolutely enjoyed our time there. The service was great, the venue cozy and homely and the food authentic. Having traveled the Levant myself I’m impressed how well they matched the food. Will definitely go again.
Starters - great, tasty, interesting dishes.
Main courses - very disappointing. My bream ‘special’ was overburdened with herbs & spices.
Desserts - flourless chocolate cake was also moisture-less.
Wine - good selection but expensive.
Service - indifferent/disinterested in us as diners, although our comments about the overly dry chocolate cake dessert were noted & ‘comped’ on the bill.
We say for 35 mins before someone came over.
The lamb was over cooked
The cauliflower was oily and salty.
Superb food, great service
Was not at good as Delamina East
Food beautifully presented, very tasty and good value. Wine a little over priced.
Would certainly recommend. The menu was interesting with plenty of choice and the food was delicious. The service overall was good during our meal. Unfortunately, the table was needed before we had finished our meal. We had not realised this and yet the waiter still asked us if we wanted desserts and coffee which we then ordered. We were then rushed and asked to pay before either were served to us. The pressure of the staff was passed onto us which was a shame and unnecessary. It would have been better if they had given us a 15 minute reminder on the time so we could have closed down without rushing - we certainly would not have ordered desserts and coffees which we didn't enjoy given the obvious pressure from the staff. Hopefully just a useful piece of feedback!
That said, everything else was great and we'd go back!
Nice fresh flavours in friendly setting... But beware weekend brunch menu needs careful reading if you are hungry.... We didn't see nibbles to share with our drinks before eating main dish, but saw some after in the "side dish" section-eg bread and olives. A bit of a heads up from waitress on this would have been helpful as we were busy talking. We sat down at 1 pm and got offered hot drinks.... so had to ask for wine/cocktail list... The main dishes are very carb light and I had a dessert but still didn't feel full.
The food was both imaginative and full of flavours. Such a variety. Delicious!!
We booked the restaurant as the reviews were good and the place looked really nice and cosy. Unfortunately only the atmosphere was nice as food and service were not what we expected. Also they charged us for extra bread when we did not even ask for it. No point to complain for £1.50 of bread...
Amazing food , decor and service .. my favourite restaurant
I had squid and kale. The kale was very overcooked. There was very little squid about 4-5 rings!!
Incredible would highly recommend :)
One of the waiters was very rood and her attitude was very bad .
Lots of smiles and great food -many thanks for a lovely dinner. Cheerfully greeted we were seated on a table by the window which was light and quiet. Service was very quick and so was the food that seems to all be great for sharing. We ordered different vegetable and fish dishes and everything tasted fresh and exciting. We absolutely loved the charred cauliflower and seared tuna as well as the halva for dessert.
I have been meaning to come back for this my second visit ever since we had brunch here one Sunday a few months ago. The dinner menu looked so interesting & didn't disappoint. Last time we were downstairs, this time upstairs. A bit draughty near a door that isn't in use however we loved our (Equadorean!) waitress & enjoyed everything that we chose, 3 or 4 starters & excellent main courses, followed by a dessert to die for. I'm not mentioning anything in particular because it's all good. Enjoy!
Interesting menu and delicious brunch in a relaxed buzzy atmosphere
Charming efficient waiter
A really enjoyable experience
Delamina is now my new favourite restaurant. The food was simply outstanding with the cauliflower being the star of the show. The flavours were so fresh, tangy and delicious. Even though we ate quite a lot, we still felt light after the dinner. The service was attentive and excellent. I can't wait to be back.
Very noisy and foos was average.
The shawarma ordered was dry . It seems that it has stay quiet a long hours on the stick!!
Fantastic food and service. Bit noisy but maybe that’s just me being cranky! Will definitely eat here again.
Fabulous as ever. Love taking new friends to discover Amir & Limor’s restaurant. Busy but with a nice relaxed feel and even though we were the last party to leave didn’t feel rushed at all. Great staff.
Service was very good
Delicious food. Tremendous mint tea. I am definitely going back.
