Limor is the driving force behind the menu, drawing on her eclectic heritage — she was born in Tel Aviv to a family of Russian and Iranian origins — and inspired by her father, a passionate cook who exposed her to the myriad flavours, herbs and spices of the region. Limor’s recipes are influenced by her interest in healthy eating – grilling, roasting and using herbs and spices to celebrate the raw ingredients, including many vegetarian dishes. Her self-taught and intuitive approach results in dishes that are wholesome, healthy and with a unique flavour combination.
The food is accompanied by a drinks list that includes exciting wines from the Eastern Mediterranean, alongside house cocktails that incorporate the same aromatic herbs & spices used in the kitchen.
All 5 of us had never been before and we have all been telling all our friends about Delamina all week! The best! Our new favourite spot x
Amazing vegetarian - vegan choices. Great service, and a wonderful location.
I love the atmosphere in Delamina. It is light, bright and calming. The staff are friendly and helpful in explaining the menu and recommending what to eat. Both our cauliflower starter and the salmon main course were excellent. Very enjoyable.
We loved the food, we had great service and really enjoyed our time on Delamina.
There was no table available even though we had a booking. Luckily someone heard us and left is their spaces at the bar
Food was pretty good, with good service. Everything was delicious! Drawback was a high level of noise, as it is a small place and tables are very near one from the other
Service was excellent, food delicious!
Starters we shared the nectarine salad, aubergines and roasted cauliflower. For mains we had the lamb tagliatelle and grilled whole fish which was sea bass (fish quite small) . Dessert we tried the parfait halva and chocolate & praline ganash which was heavenly. Although we wanted to order the seasonal baked fruit, oats and almonds but it was sold out. Will be back to try their brunch menu.
So impressed... food was delicious. We had the courgettes, the special topped pitta of the day, cauliflower and the peach salad and 2 delicious puddings. Really similar to ottelenghi but you can actually book/get a table without crazy notice. Only thing I’d change are the wine glasses and the fact you can’t get champagne by the glass
Fabulous! The food was delicious all fresh ingredients and so very tasty. Beautiful cocktails too!
Innovative menu. Attractive casual ambiance. Will definitely go back
Love the food, the value and the service was great as well. Been several times for lunch and now for dinner and drinks. Huge fan of Delamina. I’ll keep coming back.
Excellent as always. Great service alongside very tasty dishes
The staff were extremely friendly and the food did not disappoint. I love and highly recommend this little gem in Marylebone, especially if you like eating at restaurants which buzz with energy
We've been twice in the past month and have had fabulous food. The aubergines, cauliflower and courgettes were great starters (we had 8 dishes between 6 of us) and the lamb looked good for main course - though they were all great. The food is good value but the booze can be expensive. We drank the house white wine and it was very acceptable.
Really nice food, relaxed but thoughtful service and good ambiance!
My 10th visit probably
Always amazing by the food and service
Lovely restaurant service great and friendly. Food interesting, very different flavours. Great for sharing plates
Very enjoyable meal. Nice range of meat, vegetarian and fish dishes
The food was exceptional. Unfortunately we were downstairs which is not as ‘buzzy’, but then I only reserved a table one hour before turning up!!
We were made very welcome on arrival, all the staff greeted us.
We just had a main course and it was absolutely delicious.
I will book again with my partner!!
Third visit to Delamina. Excellent service, food knowledge and attention from staff. The food is very tasty, particularly for the judicious use of herbs and roasted nuts. We always go for the roasted cauliflower, but beware ordering the large version - it's huge! We probably ordered too many dishes this time.
Thanks again to everyone at Delamina. Another great meal with fantastic service. One of our favourite restaurants
The food is really good, the service also.
The Italian waiter with glasses and long beard was really really good!
Great experience all around. Food, service and ambience were spot on. I have eaten a lot of Middle Eastern food and this was that little bit different as it combined traditional elements with a modern twist. I shall return! :-)
The service was brilliant - all the staff were very well informed and helpful with wine/food choice. Food is delicious with the most amazing mix of flavours! Highly recommended!
Amazing restaurant! Super fast and sooo delicious!
Love the food - generous portions as well so no need for the service staff to oversell the number of starters one needs...I also know it is a small premises but the tables are really small and very cramped -be aware of any discussions - easily overheard. Good for vegetarians as well
Will definitely return. There were 6 of us, including 2 vegetarians. Every dish was delicious. My husband said his dessert was a contender for the top spot! Only slight bit of grit is that when we arrived I was told (as the table booker) that they might need the table 1.5 hours later. I didn’t tell my friends but it left me on edge for a while as to whether we would get through the meal as the service is well paced but not super speedy. In the end no pressure was put on us to leave as other tables freed up. Overall though a wonderful meal.
Pleasant meal, good flavours, attentive staff.
Great ambience, excellent service, amazing food!
Lovely restaurant, the food is great but the tables are really close together but the noise!!!
I have eaten at Delamina several times and have never had a bad meal, the food is delicious - fresh, tasty and good value. The staff are always polite and helpful. My friends who had not been before thought it was superb. For a simple delicious sharing meal this is an excellent place to go
Seriously tasty food. Spoilt for choice - can’t wait to return to try more of the menu. Friendly and professional service. definitely recommend.
Sensational dinner, outstanding flavours and service that make you feel like home!
Definitely coming back!
The flavours were all in all quite good however the speed and the temperature the food was delivered made it clear that most of the dishes including the grilled warm items are all pre cooked and just reheated. Freshly cooked would make them quite amazing. Wines too expensive for what they are.
Really love this restaurant it is was my third visit. Food is really great. Love the okra and the hummus - a bit annoying they charge 1.75 for gf bread with it which is 2 slices of toast (without having the Pitta)
Grilled squid as special was delicious as were the koftas. Don’t miss out on the roasted potatoes which are also divine
Desserts also great - really can’t fault it and can’t wait to go back soon.
Nice place, good food, nice service!
An Italian Waiter was really good and nice
The hummus was the best we’ve ever had. The staff were so sweet to us.
Arrived early and full so nowhere to sit for a drink and wait. Came back a little later and were seated. Food was excellent and tasty with good, friendly service. Had a bottle of the recommended Palestinian wine - a first for us - that was excellent but not cheap. Loud but great ambience. We will be back.
Good food and service but very noisy due to hard reflective surfaces which seemed to amplify the shouting of the table behind us! Why do diners feel they have to shout to show they are having a great time?
But ask to sit upstairs . We sat on our own for the whole of lunch.
Main course over cooked but starters fabulous
