Delhi Grill is a small Punjabi “dhaba”. An informal canteen where people from all walks of life sit together and enjoy spicy, delicious street food. The choices vary regularly, but are all cooked properly. Most dishes are marinated overnight or slow cooked. We also have vegan friendly dishes on our menu.

I went to the Delhi Grill with four friends visiting from Austria who don't have much access to good Indian curry in Vienna. We all enjoyed the atmosphere/ambience, great service and really tasty food. We particularly liked their big choice of soft drinks and 'mocktails'.

Food, service, ambience were all great. We loved the mixed grill. Only minor issue is that the delicious masala tea came in a really small glass which is pricey for the size. We will still come again in the future but won't have the tea.

As ever the food in the Delhi Grill was delicious and the service was good. However, having booked a New Year’s Eve meal at 9pm we were shocked to be told at 9.55pm that the restaurant was closing at 10. The booking app said we would have 1.5 hours for four people (or 1.45 hours for more than 4). I even rang the restaurant (as we reduced from 5 to 4 people) so surely then they could have told me ? We ended the meal surrounded by tables piled high with chairs and waiters sweeping and clearing all around us. Not condusive to the best of New Year’s Eves. We should have been told !
