The food was really yummy
good food and ambiance. the service was nice. love the location in historic South Central LA.
Food was great!
Food was delicious of course. Took a little while to get my food. But overall the place was very nice and clean.
Went for the first time, ordered the dine L.A. lunch. We selected the fried chicken luncheon with sides of greens and macaroni and cheese with cornbread. The greens were delicious, and the mac and cheese had a good flavor but the consistency was a little runny. The chicken was tasty, but it was not hot--more like picnic chicken. I was also surprised to get a plastic "spork" to eat my dessert. The restaurant is beautiful, love the setup and really appreciated the free parking lot behind the restaurant.
We really enjoyed our visit, and it wasn't very crowded for dine LA week !
The place was beautiful. Great atmosphere the waitresses were very nice. And the food was great.
The Food Was Amazing
Great southern cooking, outstanding value. The restaurant has a cool, jazz-era vibe in a historic building with guest parking. Our server at lunch, Angie, was ever-so-gracious, despite her being the one worker serving about 6 tables. I am reticent to have this gem discovered by the masses, but the restaurant deserves success.
Love my server! She's literally the best I've ever had and I get her everytime I go!
It was a very wonderful experience beginning to end I’d go back again and again 5 stars food service everybuhg rocked!!
I love this place everything i've ever ordered has been good. the waitess was really nice ) keep it up guys!
Really great food and energy! Loved the aesthetics as well and we had the sweetest and most accommodating server!
This location is a gem in the rough. The food is delish and the ambiance is contemporary.
Very unexpected ambiance that was nice and quiet. Took about 15 minutes before someone even came to take are order, might have been longer. Seemed there was only a buser and one server there. We ordered are food which came out in about 15-20min. I had the smothered pork chops, Mac and cheese and yams. The pork chop was so yummy, perfectly seasoned. The Mac was a let down because the noodles where mushy and over cooked, the yams where hard and not really sweet at all. I switched them for black eye peas and greens, what a great call!! Overall, I would comeback.
Excellent service and really delicious food. The waitress was extremely helpful and the portions are great for sharing. Great choice for southern classics. There are also some Mexican items that I will try on another visit. Sweet potato pie was delicious.
Wonderful dining experience, great ambiance and service. Menu has something for everyone, meal and presentation was excellent.
Super nice setting, service always great, food even better... unlimited mimosas for 1.5hrs for $18 are delicious 😋
Nice experience great food
Every thing was excellent, each time we visit there are no complaints. Our waitress Charla was excellent! Keep your standards up. It shows 🙏
We had a lovely and Delicious breakfast/lunch on Easter Sunday. The food was excellent. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely dine at Delicious again!
Dine In LA menu was excellent. You get a lot of food!!!!! I had the smothered chicken, wing basket appetizer and peach cobbler for dessert.
The Dine LA menu was a very good deal. The food was good.
Fried Chicken was seasoned perfectly and it was moist and juicy! We polished off red beans, collard greens and creole spaghetti as well as banana pudding! we loved everything! we will return!
Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived and service was slow overall. There only appeared to be two front end workers doing everything from hosting, waiting and busting tables. Our cocktails weren’t that great. We ordered the southern tea. I do not recommend. Jambalaya was good, but the oxtails not so much. Wasn’t the worst experience or the greatest. We probably won’t be back.
So happy we stumbled upon this restaurant! The outdoor dining was set up so cute. The food was the best we had our entire trip to LA, drinks were so good as well. Would definitely go back!!
Everything was great except a lot of dirt or residue kept piling up on the table while eating. Maybe a better tent or tent cleaning would help
My family of four went on a Sunday morning. Outside seating is limited due to A couple of parking spots taken on the street to accommodate seats. There was only one waiter at the time which was taking care of a larger party before and during our breakfast. Food took a while to come out but was hot so we couldn’t complain. I will be sure to stop by again soon.
The staff was very friendly! The food looked very good. The presentation was amazing. It just needed a little more flavor for my personal liking.
Loved the food and the service was great. I absolutely enjoyed the lemon drop martini and so did the Bees :-) Will definitely return to this resturatnt.
I ate from the Dine LA menu and it was more than enough food. The Peach Cobbler was excellent.
Everything was great, except for all the flying bees in the outdoor dining area.
Before I went to the restaurant I called to confirm the lunch time and it was easy to get a hold of someone. Once I got there and got a seat, they give you a little time to look over the menu and you get to place your order. There was a moment where it took a while for the servers to come by but they were still helpful when you asked for their assistance. I got the smothered chicken with mac n cheese and mash potatoes and for the dessert I had the peach cobbler. Both plates were good and flavorful and a good portion if you have an appetite.
(Note this is during the pandemic) I arrived around 4 pm and ordered the dinela dinner menu. While there is outdoor seating by the curb covered by a canopy, I recommend not dining in during very hot weather as there isn't really any alleviation unless you eat/drink something cold. The surrounding area is quiet and calm. The dineLA dinner menu here is imo one of the best value menus out there. I ordered the Louisiana gulf sampler, jambalaya and peach cobbler. Each dish was hot, freshly cooked and delicious (I actually couldn't finish the whole meal). There was one server who was kind and was generally attentive during my meal. I would love to come back here when indoor seating is reinstated again to try the other menu items. I highly recommend trying this restaurant.
