We traveled from the United States to visit Milan and DESCO was our dinner on the second night. At the time of this review, the restaurant has been opened for about a month.
Overall the experience was great. Our server had a bit of trouble explaining the size and portion of the food to us. It can get a bit confusing as the appetizers, first and main courses all share the same size — but not in the tasting menu.
They also have a separate menu called DESCO lab — of which the difference isn’t clear at first glance.
Food generally tasted great, the duck with seafood on the lab menu was excellent as well as the ceviche. I had two cocktails: Ellis in wonderland and old age Negroni, both were fantastic and the presentation was very impressive. By the end of the night, our server was very friendly. Overall a great experience.
