Devil's Acre Tavern
American fare with a German flair
Some German flare items include, schnitzel, sausages, pierogies and spatzle. We also have American fare items like crab cakes, fish and chips, burgers and hot dogs. Our beer list includes German and American Craft Beer. And thanks to our world class bartenders, we have many amazing drinks, such as The Old Easton, The Last Word, or Devil & The Slu, all featuring freshly squeezed citrus juice. So come by and grab something for lunch or dinner!
Food was good, service was good, atmosphere was good. We’ll definitely go again.
Delicious food, attentive and excellent service, wonderful wait staff.
My 11 year old gave it infinite stars and I agree.
My wife and I come here quite often and they never disappoint. Very friendly staff who all know the menu and drinks pretty well and the food comes out quick.
Summer Sunday evening dining on the patio was great!
We enjoyed outdoor seating on our visit, though we had a choice of being indoors or outdoors. My wife had a chicken cutlet with asparagus and spaetzle and I had two different German sausages with mashed potatoes. We shared pretzel bites. They have an awesome draft beer list. I could easily have had a meal trying all the items on the list, but I enjoyed an American wheat beer and a special pineapple-papaya sour beer, which my wife had as well. They offered a dark wheat beer from Germany, which was tempting, but at 9% alcohol I suspect I would have slept all the way home.
Service was excellent--timely but not pushy, On the whole, we were quite pleased. We highly recommend the Devil's Acre Tavern and we look forward to returning ourselves.
New outdoor area is generously sized with ceiling fans. Super staff. Great burgers, short ribs. Creative cocktails, varied beers.
The food was tasty, drinks were great and service was very good. The only detrimental part was the noise level. Very difficult to have a conversation without raising your voice. At that noise level the background music was unnecessary and added to the increase of noise.
Food was ok
This was my second visit to Devil’s Acre Tavern and the food was delicious, waiter was excellent & service was great. I will definitely go back again.
When we arrived we were seated pretty promptly. No one was there on a Sunday early evening around 5:30. When asked about drinks I was old there was NO tap water, only bottled. I had no idea I would pay 2.00 for a bottle of water. I could buy a case for 3.00 and a much better brand at that. Then we ordered dinner, no bread nor salad with the dinner. The dinner was a modest size for the price and average tasting. Nothing special. It was a real let down after some of the raves we heard from people. I guess sandwiches might be the specialties but we dare not take the chance.
Our first visit..
Seating ok. I'm not good with by the door..
Service was great.
Food really really good..
Will come back !
First time visit, a lovely tavern. The food was very good, we will be back!
The restaurant is bright, clean, current. The food was great. Love the wings for appetizers. Beef Weck, salads, pierogies, wursts, burgers - all delicious!
Food was delicious and overall enjoyed our visit. However, two gripes, need more tables that are not bar high tables and would of liked fries, chips or side dish included with the sandwich price.
Everything we tried, various drinks, appetizers, sides - delicious! They have the best pretzel bites and beer/cheese dip we have ever had! Restaurant was so clean, service was wonderful. Will definitely be back.
Interesting menu- a bit pricey for some items on the menu. Really enjoyed the Stuffed Tots appetizer. Be careful pulling in- parking lot is crowded and if you pull in too quickly you could end up hitting another vehicle.
Love going here. The staff is always super nice and the food is fantastic!
Delicious food we had the Kielbasi dip, salads and some links!
Great German food like Grandmom used to make. The wheat ale went perfectly with it. Reasonable prices.
Went for Mother's Day brunch. The food is outstanding. Nice place, well run. Could do without the 80s music blaring, but outside of that, great.
The food was excellent! Great selection of beer to compliment our meal. We sat outside, road noise was a bit much. We will be back!
The food was excellent! This restaurant is great for families. The noise level the Saturday night we were there was very loud because there was a soccer team there but it was fine with us. We enjoy all the chatter after being cooped up for so long! We will definitely go back this time with the whole family!
We had a great date night on Friday. Danny was an attentive sever. Food was delicious! Ambience fun and casual. Enjoyed the beer selection
Always good food and great service! And Sam the bartender makes outstanding drinks!
Glad we tried this restaurant! Great atmosphere, and our waiter, unfortunately don’t remember his name was great. He was pleasant and very attentive and his service was spot on! I had the crab and kielbasa mac & cheese-unusual combination but amazing! My date and I thought the prices were a little on the higher side, but Definitely enjoyed our meal and will be back.
great evening, first time there, our server Danny was outstanding !!!!
Fantastic food and service! Will be back!!
We always have a wonderful experience at the Acre! The food and service is always on point!
We love this place!!❤️❤️❤️
Great food and drinks!
Trying to go out and support more local restaurants. Found this one & thought we would give it a try. So glad we did! The food, service & atmosphere were terrific. (And the prices were very reasonable too!)
We will be back frequently!
Danny, the waiter, who said he was new, was very attentive to us and constantly checked to be sure we were okay.
I was quite surprised when I asked for a 7 and 7 that they did not have Seagram's Seven. I was also a little disappointed at the dessert menu - no cheesecake and no chocolate ice cream. they did give me chocolate syrup on my vanilla ice cream but the vanilla ice cream didn't really taste too good. I thought $7.00 for ice cream was a little high.
My niece recommended the place and said it is her favorite restaurant. I am sure she will enjoy going back with the gift card I got her. I enjoyed the pork Schnitzel. I was also surprised (we got there at 3:30 PM on a Sunday) and all three ordered pork Schnitzel and they only had one. Two of us had to settle for the chicken Schnitzel. They enjoyed it.
As usual, the food was excellent. We were "celebrating" our 1st Covid19 anniversary. We were having lunch here when the first shutdowns were announced, so it seem appropriate to dine here again on this date.
Our one complaint/concern is how easily the noise level can become almost deafening. A few loud patrons and it is almost impossible to hear someone at your table.
Excellent German foods and beer. Great service. A little loud
Great, changing menu with good variety and German inspired plates. Interesting, and well prepared drink selections. We will be back!
Super yummy and great service!
We loved our food and drinks! Beer selection is great. It was just a bit too loud to hear the conversation at times
Food, drinks, menu, and service were great. But it sure seemed like more than 50% capacity. Every table was taken and they were spaced less than 6 feet apart. Other than that, Devil's Acre can't be beat.
Food and service was great! Somewhat loud since we sat in between two tables of four along front window of dining area
