Dino's Steak & Claw House
Dino’s Steak and Claw has an incredible menu and amazing ambiance working in its favor. You can find it in the historic Grapevine area of Dallas. It is in a vintage bank building, and once through the doors, you’ll immediately notice that much of its classic look remains intact.
Of course, you’ll soon be busy with the menu at Dino’s Steak and Claw. As the name suggests, this restaurant is all about surf and turf. However, there is also plenty of poultry to be enjoyed too. You can order things such as beef medallions, Atlantic salmon or a fresh salad. While you eat at Dino’s Steak and Claw, a local pianist will keep you entertained with some light music.
Filet of Beef
with herb garlic crostini & green peppercorn sauce
with matre d' butter (herb garlic butter)
Potato Wrapped Halibut
with basmati rice spinach, tomato champagne sauce
The meals regardless of choice are aways great.
Amazing food & service as always with Sarah the server & Charlotte the piano player that added to the experience!
My wife and I had our 32nd wedding anniversary at Dinos and the staff was very courteous and friendly. The food was great, the wine was better.
Food was very good, service was exceptional. Menu item were sufficient.
We went for a birthday celebration. The food was wonderful, service great, we will return. Thanks Dino
The ambiance inside the Dino’s was beautiful! The menu was varied and unique. I had the Chilean sea bass and my husband substituted a pork chop for the steak pared with scallops. Our dinners were excellent! Beautifully prepared and delicious. We will definitely be back!
Awesome as always!
Great food! Service not as attentive as I would have liked.
Our first visit here a few years ago was outstanding! Unfortunately, our second visit was not so much. Their Lobster Bisque used to have chunks of lobster in it which is why we returned. They have since stopped adding any chunks of lobster. The Sea Bass was ok, but was topped with a cold avocado and lump crab meat mix that did not work well for my wife having the cold on top of hot fish.
I had the Snapper which was pan seared rather than grilled. The deep-fried taste robbed the Snapper of its great flavor and really could have been cod for all I knew. Finally, the waiter was nice, but was young and appeared to be trying out for an acting spot for a B moving. He was standing only 15 feet away, but getting his attention was more challenging than expected.
On the good side: The vegetables were awesome as well as the chocolate cake! The atmosphere is pretty nice especially upstairs (it was not open for our most recent visit).
Unfortunately, the high price for just an edible meal was not even close to worth it.
Delicious dinner, good cocktails, great location on Main Street. Service was slow but the food made up for it.
We had a great family dinner celebration. The food was wonderful and everyone enjoyed the evening.
3rd time at Dino's . Food was not up to the standard expected and received at previous visits. Food was relatively tasteless and jt seemed like the prices had increased substantially.
Dinner was delicious. Service was excellent, very accommodating with additional requests.
Great food ! We had a large party of 11 and they seated us in a private room which was amazing since we had kids with us too. Service was great as well!
My wife and I had a wonderful meal with excellent service. Our only criticism is it was pricey, we didn't feel that the meal was worth that price.
Dino's has become our go to place for a great dinner and night out on the town. The staff is always friendly and the food is amazing and top quality. Highly recommend!
Always so good! I’ll put there steaks against anywhere else in North Texas!
Delicious food, expert wait staff and quiet elegant surroundings equaled a very special evening celebrating our friend's birthday.
A very classy place. Great atmosphere. This will not be the last time we go there.
Certainly the best in the old section of Main St. Food was good and wine menu better than I imagined it would be for a smaller place. The live piano was a nice touch. Service was attentive and personable. A lovely evening. Reason for 4 stars is the sauces (poivre and port) could be re-examined so wouldn't pay extra for them.
Excellent meal! Our food was delicious...definitely on our list to go back to!
Had the filet and it was delicious, very tender and cooked exactly right! Service was excellent, it was quiet as we usually dine early. Would highly recommend.
This was our 10 year anniversary and we had planned on going to Hawaii, so with COVID that couldn’t happen. Decided to stay north metroplex due to possible protests/curfews and had a reservation at another restaurant. Waiters were not wearing masks and the menus were not single use and ours had a stain on it. Waited 25 minutes and no drink order had been taken. Waiter had been by twice saying “Be right with you”. Not trying to be difficult because of hard times, pulled up Open Table and saw an opening at Dino’s and booked it. Right way we were greeted, staff was wearing masks and menus were single use. Service, food and drinks were amazing. We had also been here for our 5th anniversary and now plan on it being our anniversary go to! Thank you Dino’s!!!!
It was absolutely incredible!! We will definitely be back again & again!
Dino’s never disappoints. We always enjoy a great meal there. The ambiance is pleasant but it could use an update and a lightening up. Dino has been around for a long time, and it’s easy to see why. The food is always reliably tasty and good and the quality of food is also high.
This was our first time at Dino's and I was impressed with the food and quality of service! Really loved our waitress Kendale and will definitely go back!
Food and service was great!!
This is the best steakhouse in Texas. Service and food is exceptional.
Food was great! Service was excellent and the Restaurant is gorgeous.
Early Mother’s Day
We went for our anniversary last night. To our surprise, there was a pianist who was wonderful. Our server, Jesse, was very attentive - not one time did we have to refill our own wine glasses. We had the bone-in ribeye, caprese salad, lobster bisque, and a gifted tiramisu for our anniversary. We shared a bottle of the Villa Antinori.
Wonderful food! Steaks and sea bass are my recos. The bartender-manager, Jess. Is the Bomb!
I took some customers here for dinner. Food and service was awesome. I had the veal chop, one of the best ever prepared!
Dino's was an absolute pleasure to dine at. My wife and I had the Sea Bass and was outstanding. Our waiter was excellent as well. If we ever get back to Grapevine we will definitely go back to Dino's.
This was our first time dining there. We were out fo my husband’s Birthday. Great dinner!
KUDOS to all the Staff. Great Evening.
Perfect place to bring visiting guests for an upscale dinner
Our waiter was fantastic and the food was amazing!
When we want a nice steakhouse in Dallas or Grapevine we usually go to Pappas Bros or Bob's but decided to give Dino's a shot....big mistake. We had to wait on our waitress for 15 minutes after being sat and they weren't even that busy. Had the Claws as an appetizer which were a waist of money - they were tiny...very deceptive advertising. Caesar salad and the Lobster bisque were ok then the steaks came. I had the Steak and Scallops and my wife had the 10 oz Filet. My steak and scallops were decent but my wife's steak was drastically undercooked. The waitress seemed put off that it was sent back then took another 20 minutes to bring it back. Other tables were served bread, we had to ask for it. Escalated our concerns to a young manager who seemed put off that we weren't satisfied. First and Last time we ever go to Dino's. If you want a great steak and seafood do yourselves a favor and go to Bob's.
