Dino's Steak & Claw House
Dino’s Steak and Claw has an incredible menu and amazing ambiance working in its favor. You can find it in the historic Grapevine area of Dallas. It is in a vintage bank building, and once through the doors, you’ll immediately notice that much of its classic look remains intact.
Of course, you’ll soon be busy with the menu at Dino’s Steak and Claw. As the name suggests, this restaurant is all about surf and turf. However, there is also plenty of poultry to be enjoyed too. You can order things such as beef medallions, Atlantic salmon or a fresh salad. While you eat at Dino’s Steak and Claw, a local pianist will keep you entertained with some light music.

This was our first time at Dino's and I was impressed with the food and quality of service! Really loved our waitress Kendale and will definitely go back!
Food and service was great!!
This is the best steakhouse in Texas. Service and food is exceptional.
Food was great! Service was excellent and the Restaurant is gorgeous.
Early Mother’s Day
We went for our anniversary last night. To our surprise, there was a pianist who was wonderful. Our server, Jesse, was very attentive - not one time did we have to refill our own wine glasses. We had the bone-in ribeye, caprese salad, lobster bisque, and a gifted tiramisu for our anniversary. We shared a bottle of the Villa Antinori.
Wonderful food! Steaks and sea bass are my recos. The bartender-manager, Jess. Is the Bomb!
I took some customers here for dinner. Food and service was awesome. I had the veal chop, one of the best ever prepared!
Dino's was an absolute pleasure to dine at. My wife and I had the Sea Bass and was outstanding. Our waiter was excellent as well. If we ever get back to Grapevine we will definitely go back to Dino's.
This was our first time dining there. We were out fo my husband’s Birthday. Great dinner!
KUDOS to all the Staff. Great Evening.
Perfect place to bring visiting guests for an upscale dinner
Our waiter was fantastic and the food was amazing!
When we want a nice steakhouse in Dallas or Grapevine we usually go to Pappas Bros or Bob's but decided to give Dino's a shot....big mistake. We had to wait on our waitress for 15 minutes after being sat and they weren't even that busy. Had the Claws as an appetizer which were a waist of money - they were tiny...very deceptive advertising. Caesar salad and the Lobster bisque were ok then the steaks came. I had the Steak and Scallops and my wife had the 10 oz Filet. My steak and scallops were decent but my wife's steak was drastically undercooked. The waitress seemed put off that it was sent back then took another 20 minutes to bring it back. Other tables were served bread, we had to ask for it. Escalated our concerns to a young manager who seemed put off that we weren't satisfied. First and Last time we ever go to Dino's. If you want a great steak and seafood do yourselves a favor and go to Bob's.
First time dining, will definitely go back. Gives the chain steakhouses a run for their money!
Fabulous! We have lived in the area and never tried Dinos! Loved it!
Charging people $4 for horseradish sauce and $4 for steak sauce is absurd. I told the waiter and he did nothing. Won’t be going back out of principle.
The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere for entertaining business clients or for dining with friends. Good menu choice of seafood and steaks- group had both. We liked the salad options and sides. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Would return again. The only thing I would change: the piano music is awesome- just a bit loud for dinner.
Service staff is not knowledgable about wine and cocktails. The food was good, but not worth $100 per person when the bar staff doesn't know how to make basic cocktails and the serving staff doesn't know basic wine varietals. Very disappointing experience
Not a place we’ll go back to, to be honest. Went in expecting great food and ambiance, but found everything sub-par especially given the price tags. The food was bland, the service very average, and generally found the place too dark and stuffy / really not an enjoyable environment for us. When spending over $200 for two, expected something a bit more elevated. Too many other higher-end options in the area that we prefer.
What we ate:
Lobster bisque: mostly heavy cream, and literally not even a shred of lobster.
Sea bass: overcooked, and served atop a bed of mushy rice.
Filet mignon: this was actually very good, but served with dry and unspectacular mashed potatoes.
Lemon cake: tasted okay but really plain.
Chocolate cake: tasted okay but again, nothing special.
It’s the day after Valentine’s Day. They still have their restricted menu. The waiter, who was great, said he didn’t know about the menu until he started his shift. There’s no apps. You get lobster bisque OR salad, 5 choices of entrees, and two desserts...that’s it. I had the sea bass. It was not well seasoned, steamed or boiled and tasteless. Honestly, this was a rushed cafeteria dinner. With a bottle of wine, dinner for 2 cost $210. I am disgusted.
The not so good:
Sea bass did not seem fresh a little dry/hard, sauce a little too rich and was not fond of the rice appears to have some type of nut.
Lobster bisque soup too rich for our taste.
The filet mignon was cooked just right, tender and tasty; however was not hot enough or cooled down to quick.
The lemon cake was a nice flavor and not too sweet which we like very much. Just lacked a little smoothness.
Great service and atmosphere.
This is the best steakhouse in the USA. The service level is phenomenal
A bit chaotic in sitting, especially for reservations, once seated, their attributes began to shine.
We had the 3 course Valentine's meal and everything was delicious. The server was friendly and the timing of the courses was good. We made reservations on probably one of the busiest nights of the year and were seated at the top of the stairs. Every patron and server passed our table...I'd recommend requesting a table away from that area.
Valentines Day 2020 ❤️
Great Valentine’s Day Dinner
Excellent filet mignon will definitely be going again!
I loved it! My husband wanted a sauce for his steak & thought it was dry. This was a holiday & set menu. I guess our first time to try shouldn’t have been on Valentines when the menu is limited.
We had a wonderful evening. The service and menu was outstanding.
Dino's on Valentines day was pure perfection. Our waitress Tina was simply awesome, her attention to detail and politeness as well as professionalism was the utmost best. The food was well prepared and very tasty. The restaurant is situated right in the heart of Main street on Grapevine and was very easy to find. The hostess made a blunder at the beginning but nothing that truly bothered me. I will be back.
Love coming here for every occasion, always worth the price. My husband is a steakhouse junkie, and trust me it gets expensive, however, in the North Dallas area Dino's is our go to.
Dino's is A+ always.. best service and food is amazing. Why go to a big box chain restaurant when you can dine local.. do yourself a favor and check it out. Thank me later
The food was outstanding. I had the Filet beef appetizer and the special tomahawk ribeye steak. The appetizer was good, but the steak was excellent. My wife had the ceasar salad to start and the special Filet Mignon topped with scallops. The salad was very good and the steak was excellent. Plus, be ause it was our anniversary, they provided us a complimentary dessert which was very nice. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good steak.
It was quite Lovely evening the piano music which was live was a great touch ambience rustic and beautiful service fantastic food great value for the money
Great place with good atmosphere. We had a small family get together and they put us in a perfect spot as asked. Would recommend
Dino’s is always top notch - great food, lovely atmosphere!
The food was delicious and we both enjoyed our meals. We were near the piano and the pianist made for a lovely atmosphere for dinner, not too loud and great selection of music. We felt that the service was just okay. Our server was pleasant but not as attentive or knowledgeable as I would have expected for a restaurant with these hefty prices. The gentleman who bused our table to remove dishes was excellent and we both thought he would be better suited as a waiter than the waitress who was assigned to serve us.
